Open The Stands

Aprilw as eager for this game, as her sister would be playing. She had dragged her dad up to a high point in the stands, so they could see the match very well. She was a little sad she wasn't playing herself today, but she was still happy about her win last time. Hopefully, October would have a similar experience now. April was completely rooting for Ravenclaw. The girl leaned forward as far as she dared, ignoring her dad's protests about danger. "GO OCTOBER!" She shouted as loudly as she could, hoping to reach her sister somehow. "GO RAVENCLAW!"

Theodore wasn't entirely sure what had come over him. Never before had he attended a Quidditch match, no matter which house played. He had never cared, and he and Edmund had always agreed that it was a waste of time. But now Theodore was lonely and miserable, and not so opposed to trying new things. But if he was honest with himself, he was mostly going for Zoe. She was, he grudgingly admitted, his only friend. And he wanted to see her play. But he regretted it a little as he stood in the crowded stands. He had his hands shoved deep into his pockets and was hunched down, trying to avoid touching anyone. He didn't follow the game at all, only looking at Zoe at the goalposts. When she blocked a goal, he smiled slightly. Maybe he would congratulate her later.

April watched the game with excitement, jumping up and down as it began. She was rooting for Ravenclaw, obviously, and was hoping that her sister would get the snitch. She liked Syrus well enough, but between him and her sister it wasn't hard to pick who to root for. When October was hit by a bludger, April felt a surge of anger. She yelled angrily and shook her fist, as if the Gryffindor beaters could see her. As far as she knew, October hadn't been hit before. April was fairly used to it by now, but she hoped it wouldn't distract October too much from her task.

Quidditch was the bane of Matt's existence, and he really wondered how he had gotten so unlucky two have two daughters who both played the sport. And both played the most dangerous position to boot. He was trying to seem calm next to April, but kept a close eye on October. Of course he hoped Ravenclaw would win, but more than that he hoped October would get out of this without getting hurt. But that didn't seem to be the case. He winced when he saw her get hit by the bludger, and almost joined April in her angry shouting. Remembering that he was the adult present, he placed a hand on April's shoulder in an attempt to calm her down. "She'll be okay." He said, trying to convince himself as well as her.

Onyx hurried out to the stands with his two favorite girls in tow. Jacob was playing today. He might have been late for the game his sister didn't get to play in but he wouldn't be late for this game. He found a spot near the front and leaned forward as far as he dared. He could feel his sister's hand on the back of shirt but he paid her no mind. "Whoooo! Go, Jacob!" He yelled as the players shot into the air. He let his sister pull him back, not taking his eyes off the boy on his broom. He whooped loudly every time Jacob hit the bludger successfully. The game was looking promising and he wasn't about to miss a second of it.

Onyx seemed to be off in another dimension, so Sapphire followed him. She chatted idly with Kira as they made their way to the stands. She smirked as her brother quickly found them a place. She had to grab the back of his shirt as he leaned too far out over the edge and started to wobble. She doubted he noticed over his yelling. She shot Kira a knowing glance before turning and cheering with her brother. "Give 'em hell your majesty!" She yelled out once her brother was done. It was actually kinda nice to have someone to support like this. She sat back with Kira, ready to cheer Gryffindor to victory.

Madlyn followed Chante up to one of the stands. The tall woman wore casual clothing for this late morning game. She was glad to be out of her teaching robes. "Go on and sit, I'm going to stand and watch," Madlyn tells her. The woman folded her long arms, witnessing her niece take position near the goal post. "Oh, looks like Willow playing and as keeper," Madlyn noted. That was strange, Willow had always seemed like the chaser or seeker type. As the game started, from where she stood, Madlyn was impressed how natural Willow performed as keeper. "Your cousin was born to play keeper, go Willow!"

Chante sat near her mother, who was approximately same height to the bleacher stand. Chante carried a Gryffindor flag in support of her cousin's house team. "You sure, it might be a long game," Chante reminded her. Chante wanted her mother to enjoy the game like anyone else here. "Keeper, that's not what she tried out for," Chante said, brown eyes roaming to the high goal posts. And sure enough, there was Willow geared up in keeper wear. "They probably needed her to play keeper....," Chante shrugged. She looked around the stands to see if Len came down for the game. Unfortunately, Chante saw no sight of her. Sighing pathetically, she went back to focusing on the game starting. Chante agreed with her mom's commentary, Willow did great as keeper. "She is, whoa, it's like she slapping the quaffle away."
