Georgiana smiled at Logan but tried to puch him back up. "Hi, come on get ready Logan! I can't lift you your too tall," she said with a laugh considering they were just about to start. Eyeing her compeition she noticed a few more groups join the line up and wondered what the out come was and what the winner got.

Georgiana put her arms in front of her glad to have been forced to do so many chores at home. "Ready Logan?" She asked as she saw the person getting ready to signal them to start.

Logan laughed slightly as she said that he was too tall. That was because he was older and because he was a boy. He took a deep breath and stood back up on his feet and stood behind her. He leant down to pick her up by her ankles, she was light enough for him to comfortably stand as he waited for the signal to be given for them to start. He wondered how many people were actually taking part in this even and what the winner would get, no homework for a term? or simply house points. He hoped a Ravenclaw would win, even if they were already in the lead by miles in terms of points. "Yeah im ready." He said in answer to her comment.

Georgiana laughed as he stood back up, and they waited for the signal. Once it was given she started off as face as she could glad that Logan seemed strong enough to lift her up. It must be more fun up there, she thought to herself as she pushed her arms forward praying they wouldn't fail her now. Luckily she didn't have time to think about the places of the other competitors and so she wasn't able to let herself down early by seeing if anyone passed them, which she wouldn't know till they hit the end most likely.

Jeremy chuckled when he saw the gloves that Victor was putting on. When he was ready, the Ravenclaw lifted his legs up, listening to the warning from the older guy to have fun. "I will" he promised, "as long as you do the same." He chuckled again, trying to balance his weight on his hands as he glanced at the other teams. He could see his roommate, Logan, not too far away with his girlfriend.

It took Jeremy a few times moving his hand before he began to get the hang of it. He knew his legs weren't going anywhere and Jeremy knew that he had to be careful about going straight just as Victor warned. Already, he was swaying near someone else's lane though he couldn't see whose it was. "Whoops!" he shouted gleefully, before moving his hands to the right so his next few moves could center him again. A laugh came out as he realized how ridiculous they all looked.

As stated, Joceline Richarde is with Dakota Cinellison; also - God-Modding approved

Joceline Richarde had been excited about taking part in the Annual Wheelbarrow race this year but unfortunately any of her options for partners had all fallen out, it was times like this that Joceline wished she had been a bit more social in her six years so far at Hogwarts New Zealand. She had a close number of friends whom she all cared for but that still didn’t hide the fact that it was a small number of people. If only Ivan would get off his high horse and transfer over to here from Durmstrang. She thought to herself. She missed her friend but she knew that she would get to see him in a matter of weeks when the holidays started and she was going to spent something with him and his brother – her other best friend, Thomas Smith.

Making her way down to where the Wheelbarrow race was to take place she put on her trainers in hope that she would be able to find on Dakota Cinellison. She knew that the girl was like herself and without a partner for the race and the young Slytherin was hoping that she would be willing to partner up for her. There was the slight problem of them not knowing each other but it was only a small set back and wasn’t all that large as they were in the same year as each other and therefore shared a few classes. The only difference was that Joceline was in Slytherin and Dakota was in Ravenclaw. Joceline always thought that she belonged in Ravenclaw but alas the Sorting Hat thought it was better for her to be in Slytherin and there was no going back once the Hat made its decision and truth be told, she pretty much felt at home in Slytherin.

Arriving at the Great Lawn she looked around for Dakota. The place was crowded and there was a buzz of excitement around the place as friends and partners got ready for the race. Walking around for a bit Joceline’s blue doe eyes landed on the girl she was looking for. Taking in a deep breath she walked over to her. This situation wasn’t made any easier that Joceline was just ever so shy but she didn’t have much time to waste.
“Uhh..Hi! You’re Dakota, Dakota Cinellison, right?” she asked, just to be sure. “I’m Joceline Richarde and I hear that you don’t..umm…have a partner for the race either. I was wondering if you’d like to partner up?” she asked, feeling quite embarrassed and her cheeks were going a light shade of pink. Joceline’s face lit up when Dakota agreed to do the race with her, she really didn’t want to miss out on the race and who knew, she may make a new friend out of it. The girls took a few minutes to decide who should be the wheelbarrow and who should be the carrier and after a bit of discussion they came to the decision that Joceline was going to carry Dakota. They made the decision just in time as everyone was called to the starting line. Joceline got herself ready and focused for the race and as everyone was told to get ready, Joceline grabbed Dakota’s ankles and just before the whistle blew she said, “Good luck, and I’ll try my best not to drop you.” a small laugh lacing her words to help relieve the tension some what; then they were off.

At first, Dakota had wondered how this girl, Joceline, had known her name, but then her mind drew back to signing up for the race without a partner. Joceline had obviously seen her name on the list and, as it turned out, was also seeking someone to partner her in the race. A small smile of relief and excitement, crept onto Dakota's smooth dark face where it dwelled merrily for some time. Dakota nodded her reply "I'd love to." They had soon decided upon Dakota being the wheelbarrow- the idea, of which, made Dakota giggle slightly. The race was about to begin and the girls hurried to the the starting place. Dakota dived to the ground with her shoulders back and her elbows bent. Her legs were soon raised up behind her, causing her to hang at an angle. Dakota couldn't easily reply, but she gave a light-hearted laugh and within seconds, Dakota had begun to move her arms forward, taking great strides, but at the fastest speed she could go.

Many years ago, it was Maddie Cinellison holding up Dakota's legs as they raced around the back garden as giggling children. She did miss her sister and her being so close, but there was very little she could do about it. The time they had first begun to grow distant, was when they had started at Hogwarts and Maddie had become a Gryffindor. Protest as she might, Maddie couldn't convince the hat to change its decision about placing the girls in different houses, and she became upset at Dakota not putting up a fight.. But Dakota had grown to rather enjoy Ravenclaw, the cheerful silence in which to study, and she doubted she would have enjoyed Gryffindor as much. Her sister was far more confident, and a bit of a trouble maker.

Most of the time, it was neck and neck between contestants. Dakota's arms were spinning so fast that there was a good chance she would take off. Joceline was doing a good job of holding Dakota's ankles, and not running overly fast. Suddenly. out of nowhere, Dakota felt her breath shortening and- her arms had paused only for a second, but a second too long. She fell forwards onto her face, trying to scramble back up onto her arms to continue the race, but she had broken into a fit of giggles. "I.." Dakota tried to speak through her laughter, wondering if someone had hit her with a spell, "S-sorry about.. that." She managed to begin moving her arms again, beating them against the ground and trying to gain speed. But did it really matter who won or lost?

"No problem, think I'd have more fun with this than anyone" Victor took a quick look around than came back to holding onto Jeremy's ankle right away when they flew right in his open palm. He grasp the boy ankles, fairly difficult doing this, but he got the hang of it right away. With Jeremy guiding them up front, Victor started to run ahead following the boys steps. Jeremy went a bit off course, Victor chuckle at his little friend mishaps. "watch it dude! You almost fell out of the lane" Victor finding this hilarious, he shared a few laughs with his teammate, but kept stirring him right away. The boy's ankle fell right in the open space of Victor's arms, while his hands sort looped around Jeremy ankle. "You alright?!"

It wasn’t long before the pair were off. Joceline was surprised that she found it quite easy to keep Dakota up, not that she was heavy – far from it, but she just didn’t know her upper body strength. She figured that the few years that she had been a cheerleader for the Slytherin Quidditch team had helped her with that and possibly even finally having a good at Quidditch. Her position wasn’t exactly the hardest to play and needed agility more than strength but it was always good to have some strength on your side. This was rather fun and Joceline’s competitive side came over her when she saw just how close it was between all of the pairs but she didn’t want to hurt Dakota so she stayed at her normal pace. She thought everything was going well until when she stepped forward she fell forward a bit but not enough to fall on the ground. She looked down in horror with Dakota on the ground, she hoped it wasn’t her going too fast. Bending down to help her up she was rushing to help her up but then she heard her laughing and couldn’t help but giggle as well. “Sure you’re okay?” she asked with a string of giggles lacing her words. Lifting Dakota up again with her ankles and moving forward. She realised that she didn’t really need to be competitive about this, she was having fun.

Chris let Willow lift his legs, but it was a mere few moments before he faceplanted into the grould. ..urgh. he moaned at himself, shaking his head a little to try and ease the ache on his nose. "MERLIN'SBEARDWILLOWTHATHURT!!" he screeched audibly, offering his friend a wide grin to show that he wasn't even near being angry.

All the others had taken off, Willow and Chris still mucking around behind the starting line. "I'm fine.. look let's just swap places" he laughed up at her, standing and doing some mock arm stretches to show his readiness. "We're winning, Willow!" the Gryffindor grinned.

Georgiana glanced up to make sure Logan was taking her in the right direction and almost lost her footing, well yeah. "Come on Logan we can do this, go alittle faster!" She said as she heard a voice nearby yelling that that group was in the lead, Georgiana wasn't very competitive but this was something she knew how to do well, if only her dad was here, they always made a great team for Lawn games, but Logan was doing just fine anyway.

Logan groaned as he pushed her. It was easy for her to say she had probably done this loads of times before and he had never done it in his life. "Ugh." He moved as he quickened his pace to over take a few extra people. "Happy now." He said a little jokingly and a little seriously. He was concentrating mainly on not dropping her, knowing him that would probably happen if he let his guard down. He didn't see how she could be getting competitive over such an activity. It was just a harmless pass time which a few people were doing. Nothing sinister

Georgiana rolled her eyes at the ground trying to keep her arms going and not stopping. "Am I really that heavy?" She asked with a laugh. They seemed to be gaining on people and even passing a few groups, she didn't really care if they won but she really did want to place at least. Georgiana wondered how he was doing up there, though he did have it easy, just lift the legs and walk fast she had the lift whole body weight with arms and walk using hands.

Victor had a good grip on his legs so Jeremy wasn't afraid that his legs would fall, causing his partner to stumble. What he was more worried about what keeping up the pace with his hands. As Victor asked if he was alright, Jeremy nodded slightly and then realized that with all of his movement, it would probably be difficult for the boy standing above him to see the small nod. "Yup" he let out. His pace slowed a little bit as he took a deep breath. Walking on your hands was rough work. "How are we doing?" he asked, curious to know how they were compared to the others.

Willow collapsed into giggles - she was pretty positive that she and Chris were the least competitive out of all the contestants and that seemed fine from her point of view.
She started stretching - taking her sweet time; for some reason - coming last seems fine for once.

"Me? The Wheelbarrow? Nah uh. Paper Scissors Rocks for it." She held out a closed fist, taking a quick glance at the crowd, a few people giving the pair odd looks. "...or not." She got down and lifted her legs up for Chris to hold on to; "Yeah, we're winning, if the results were in reverse order, Chris." She struggled as she tried to lift her self up, muttering to herself that she should start exercising more.

Logan rolled his eyes at her comment. He would like to see her do this job, considering he was not the strongest boy in the world. He was more in to his studies than he was in to weight lifting. "Its more of the case am i really this weak." He said with a laugh. He knew girls didn't like beging called heavy because they would turn that to being called fat, even if that wasn't what was meant. "At least we are near the front." He said looking at the few people in front of them

Victor let out a few "Grrr!" and "Guh" sound. Just like he predicted, the boy was getting heavy, but with a few boost of energy he gather up strength to continue to hold him up. "Were doing okay, not bad from the way I see it" he did a quick check around his opponent, than he heard some one yelling. The voice sounded young, so he started to laugh, some of the young players were taking this serious. "Someone losing their head over towards our left, kinda of funny.." he shared with Jeremy, they were getting near, though so was everyone else. Some were speeding up, but Victor didn't seem that worry about it.

Georgiana laughed at his statment, if he spent even a month with her grandmother he wouldn't have to worry about being weak ever again. She has so many chores around the house and constantly wants the house to be changed around, but Georgiana still loved her. "Are we? I didn't think we'd get so far a head of some of the people," she said knowing it could be deemed unfair having the older students all together. "You can't be that weak, you play Quidditch don't you?" She asked remembering someone had mentioned that he played.

Sara nodded her head as her sister stated their postions and grabbed Kate's legs. "Let's get ready." Then, just as they had reached the starting line, she heard a voice shout "Go!" and boy did she run. "Come on Kate!" she shouted to her sister, raising her legs, so that she could move her hands faster.

She watched as some other groupd passed them "Come on, we can beat them!" she grinned, run
ning faster.

"Okay"Kate said letting Sara grab her legs. She was just about ready when someone shouted "Go" she quickly set off walking on her arms. She saw other teams passing them but she only slightly raised her speed she wanted to save as much energy as possible as she would have a better chance of winning "Well this is fun"She said smiling

Sara ran slightly faster as Kate sped up. She could see themselves passing some other teams. She was excited and began to run fast, but she was a good runner and could conserve her energy.

"Yes it is!" she yelled, she was feeling slightly breathless now, but kept ploughing on. "We can do it Kate!" she grinned, quickening her pace slightly. She looked around seeing some of her friends around her.

With the wheelbarrow race now in full swing, Riley noticed a few more sixth years, one of which she knew, Joceline, but the other that she didn't. A few of the younger competitors seemed to be falling behind, struggling with their positioning, but Riley and Dimirti powered on ahead. The seventeen year old put it down to the fact that her wheelbarrow was at least five, if not six years younger than her, giving her an obvious advantage as she steered past some younger students, temporarily taking the lead from them. "Come on Dimitri!" she yelled, her competitive side getting the best of her like it usually did during the Quidditch games. "We're winning!" she screeched at him, trying to give him the motivation to speed his small hands up, the finish line seemed to be getting closer and closer as a younger team came up behind them, threatening to take the lead.

Jeremy was glad to hear that they weren't in dead last. He didn't care if they won or not, and in fact, he had a feeling they probably wouldn't because his arms were really beginning to get tired. The Ravenclaw knew he was going to be terribly sore in the morning. When Victor spoke about someone losing their head, Jeremy laughed, thinking that the person sounded an awful lot like his roommate's girlfriend. Passing another team, Jeremy looked up to see that they were nearly to the end. C'mon...you can do this he urged himself. "We're almost there Victor!" he breathed out and then quieted, concentrated all of his energy on keeping his hands moving.

Willow held out a fist for Paper Scissors Rock, leaving Chris in fits of laughter. "Yes! Pa-" he began before seeing that Willow had decided against it upon spotting the crowd's faces. "Awh Willow you're no fun." he smiled at his friend, going to lift her legs and hoping his nails weren't too sharp. "Yeah nah, of course the results are in reverse order. And- oh god YOU'RETOOHEAVY!!" the boy groaned, this time Willow's turn to faceplant.

Smooth, Chris.

"Yeah yeah, I know I'm no fun but it doesn't matter. Slow and Steady wins the race right Chris?" Willow heaved her self up off the ground, feeling Chris's hands grasping around her ankles;
"Yeah nah, of course the results are in reverse order. And- oh god YOU'RETOOHEAVY!!" She felt his grip loosening and before she could balance her self she sprawled out onto the grass, landing as if she was a starfish.

She face planted on the ground, her mouth clamping down on the taste of rich earth and bitter grass. Remaining in this position, she mumbled loudly, regretting it as she breathed in more dirt; "youramanyoursupposedtobeabletoliftmebutatleastwewonsincethestartlineisthefinishline mumbling over, she lifted her head up, positive that the race has already ended.

Damian noticed that he was not going no where near fast enough. He wanted to be competitive, and he wanted to win this thing. Well, he did not mind it either way, cause he was having a blast, crawling though a little slower than the others. He did not want to be in last place so he called out, to warn Ostensia, "Might want to pick up the speed! I am going to go faster!" Damian smirked a bit, but his chest exploded with giggles, because he was just having way too much! His wrist slipped out from under him, and he fell. Damian hoped that Ostensia was leading him in the right way. Picking himself off of the grass. He smirked and he knew that the competitive edge that he had on the pitch easily took over and his hands pounded the ground, gaining some speed ahead of him, and hopefully heading out in the crowd. Being the wheelbarrow was not an easy job at all. Now where in the world was that finish line? He wanted to hurry and cross it. He could see people ahead, and he couldn't tell if they were racing or not, but he felt as though they had just passed people up. Damian's giggles could be heard a mile away.
