The Brotherhood Auction

[Merlina Caliburn]

Merlina had watched the proceedings with fascination as girls bid frantically on different boys. It amazed her that they would bid considering they didn't even know who they were bidding on. She didn't think Ryuu would be among those dressed up especially as he would have to attend the Yule Ball at the end of it. She remained silent not caring to bid at all, shuffling back a bit into the crowd and wondering where Ryuu was at that moment. Most likely up at the North Tower or something.

 

[Carmen Peregrin]

Carmen watched others bid and was dumbfounded, especially as some of these were girls she would never have thought would participate in something like this. She saw the boys that were revealed and gasped when she saw Theodore, if he were amongst this lot then Kaleb probably had gone in for a bet or something. With that in mind she viewed the other boys and hoped that she hadn't lost her chance just in case. Some more had yet to be revealed and the last four were now up for auction. Biting her lip, she raised a hand.

"50 galleons on N" she said aloud. If this wasn't Kaleb she was going to give someone an extremely hard time.

 

[Esme Lively]

Esme turned around to see who bid the highest amongst the remaining letters. "Lexi!" Esme almost squeal laughing because of her friends amount of bid. "Well seems like someone going to ball than?" Esme laughed standing besides Lexi, giving her a light tap on the shoulders. "Can't wait to see your mom's reaction when she hears about this.." Esme chuckle shaking her head. Esme didn't think anyone else will fight against that high price. It will be funny if Lexi got stuck with a first year, if that happen to Esme she already was plotting a quick plan.

 

[Prodan Zhefarovich]

Prodan glanced at the time, and he shouted, "Oh crud! Time's up! These four boys are sold! 150 galleons for Boy Q sold to Lexi Rodriguez! 50 galleons for Boy N, sold to Carmen Peregrin! 30 galleons for Boy F...sold to Alexandra Johansen! Finally, Boy M sold to Esme Makwa for 10 galleons! Boys, reveal yourselves! And that concludes the auction!" Prodan took a deep breath and he clapped for whoever got stuck with who. This was fun, and he hoped that everyone had a blast.

Okay, I will put up the list, who is going with who in just a few minutes, as well as the amount you bid upon.

 

[Kyle Sparrow]

Kyle removed his hood and looked at the girl who had bid on him, he couldn't help but wink at her. Sure he had seen her about the school before and had heard stories that she wasn't the greatest lover of magic but she was cute. The auction had gone well really well.
"Nice job boys" he grinned.

 

[Danny Boyd]

Danny's heart lurched when Kara bid on him, he had been so damn terrified when he had done this that someone else would win him. He kept his fingers crossed and didn't uncross them until it was announced who had bid the highest on E. Removing his mask he beamed at her, it was his last Yule Ball and he got to take the most beautiful girl in the school to it.

 

[Trinity Cornwell]

Trinity had watched but couldn't for the life of her bid on anyone. Money was tight and she didn't want to waste it on the off chance that she didn't get Justin. She had the feeling that he wasn't there anyhow. He hadn't mentioned anything at all about attending the Halloween Feast and knew even if it was supposed to have been a big secret within the Brotherhood he would have found a way somehow to tell her.

She couldn't believe someone had actually bid 150 galleons on one of the boys though. That was just mental altogether but the night had been fun. With a yawn she turned around and began to pull the netting from her head, it was time for her to get out of her mermaid costume.

 

[Sureya Eidos]

Her mouth hung open wide when Jai revealed himself to someone else who had bid on him and not her. Her heart felt as if it had simply been squashed to a pancake. She raised her hand to cast a bid on someone else not caring what letter she had even given and was astounded to realise she had won on her second bid. Her eyes opened wide and all that she asked of Isis was that she would at least get someone she knew.

Sureya couldn't help but sigh at the sight of Jai standing in his costume looking positively dazzling. She had never had a bad thought about anyone before but she had one now about the girl who had snagged her Jai. Her Jai the thought made her laugh, more times than not he could barely stand to have her around him.

With the reveal she discovered the boy she had bid on was Hamza, her good friend. This at least cheered her up and she waved to him from where she stood, at least she would go to the Yule Ball with someone she liked.

[Andromeda Fiorelli]

Andy had been tempted to bid but in the end simply didn't bother. Why spend any of her hard earned money when she could just ask a guy to the dance? She wondered just who would have joined the Brotherhood though and decided to stick around to see. It was with amusement that she saw Mike and Noah reveal themselves and almost thought it a pity that she hadn't bid on either of them. She checked her watch as the auction came to a close and decided to head off early, she had things to learn that had nothing to do with school work.

 

[Shalamar Ovanisse]

Shalamar had been outbid and thought perhaps it was fate stepping in and telling her not to be wasting her money or doing something silly. She hadn't really planned on going to the Yule Ball anyhow. She stepped back and watched proceedings, clapping her hands as each boy was revealed and had to admit she didn't have a clue who most of them were.

 

[Aleyha Snow]
