Closed Sunset Dreams

Lou was quickly caught up in kissing Erik, and without really realizing it he slowly pushed Erik down on the blanket. He held the other man close, slipping his hand to the back of Eriks neck and deepening the kiss. They made out heavily a good bit, and Lou was very unsure of what was going on, but he was hardly going to complain. He was too caught up to notice the faint thunder.

Lou blushed, smiling shyly. “Erik,” He breathed, kissing Erik again. The rain was picking up a little, but to be honest it just made it seem more romantic. Lou's heart was pounding in his chest. The rain was cool on his flushed skin; at least, until the light drizzle changed suddenly into a torrent, the water falling fast and hard. Lou let out a startled yelp and quickly scrambled for the picnic basket.

Erik was slow to process the situation. He couldn't help laughing when Lou shouted, but that stopped quickly as he was drenched himself. Erik looked around quickly and made sure Lou had grabbed everything. He put his arms around Lou's waist.

When Lou had everything, he glanced back at Erik. "Hang on," he apparated them into his room, setting everything on the floor before hurrying to shut his door. He locked it and muffled the room, but frowned when his attempts at the drying spell didn't work. He looked over to Erik with Dewey chocolate eyes. "Erik…" Lou pouted.

Erik shivered, his skin and hair still soaked from the downpour. There was a slight draft in Lou's room. He approached Lou, holding his wand arm over Lou's. "You have to get the swish and flick movement just right," he said, holding Lou's wrist and demonstrating the proper way. He was aware of how close they were again.

Lou smiled as Erik came over, concentrating and trying the spell again the way Erik showed him. His eyes lit up when it worked. He laughed delightedly, his eyes lighting up as he smiled at Erik.

Erik grinned back at Lou. It was interesting, teaching magic to someone else. Sure, at Ilvermorny students ended up taking different paths, some omitting difficult spells and knowledge from their magical education. Erik himself had taken the path of least resistance. But it was odd with Lou, who was still learning basic spells at the age of forty-two. Not that he minded teaching. "Want to try it on me?" he asked, smirking, holding his arms out.

Lou blushed, feeling bashful that he'd forgotten to dry Erik too. He apologized shyly, quickly turning and drying Erik. Once Lou got the hang of a spell it was simple, it was just getting the hang of it that was the issue. When they were dry, Lou could feel the blush on his cheeks. Unsure what to say, or do, he shyly brushed his fingers against Eriks.

Erik grinned back at Lou as he pointed his wand at him. He thought Lou was awfully cute. Well, he always had, but even more so in these little moments. When Lou grazed his hand, he reached to lace his fingers with the other man's. He lead Lou to the bed, in no rush. Erik sat down at the edge of the mattress, hoping Lou would join him.

Lou smiled, following Erik easily and sitting down with him. Lou hesitated a moment, very tempted to just lean in and kiss Erik again. The sudden storm had caught him off guard, and it made him question a bit more now. He reached over with his free hand, tucking Eriks hair behind his ear.

There was no denying that the thunderstorm had cooled the both of them down. The thought of Bettie sleeping nearby also dampened Erik's mood. He leaned into Lou's hand, content to just be there with him.

Lou smiled softly, his entire body relaxing. He felt oddly tired now, drained and sleepy. "Do you want to stay the night?" He asked a little shyly. "I would like very much to cuddle," he glanced away, worried. "I know it isnt- exciting, o-or anything, I- I just," Lou bit his lip, worried he sounded like a fool.

Erik nodded wordlessly back at Lou. He found Lou's shyness endearing. Never shy himself, Erik crawled easily into Lou's bed, settling his head on one of the pillows and burying himself under the covers. "Cuddling with you sounds wonderful," he said quietly.

Lou was almost worried when Erik moved away, but when he looked up he couldn't help but smile warmly. His entire body softened. He slid in next to Erik, opening his arms for the other wizard and smiling shyly.

Erik didn't need much encouragement. He nestled easily in Lou's arms, tucking his face in against his neck. He lay there and breathed in deeply.

Lou hummed softly, wrapping his arms around Erik and smiling. After a few moments of comfortable silence, Lou managed to speak. "I'm really glad I met you, Erik," he whispered, pressing a soft kiss to the mans head.

Erik tangled his legs up with Lou's. He felt nice, secure, comforting. Things seemed to have taken a more innocent turn. He smiled when Lou pecked him on the forehead. "I'm happy I met you, too."

Lou was different from the other partners he'd taken recently and in the past. Things with Lou were sweet and slow. Erik wasn't sure how to navigate this. That said, he was happy just to share a quiet moment with him.

Lou smiled, pressing a soft kiss to Eriks temple and shutting his eyes. He felt really worn out, but content. It had been a good day. He quickly started to drift, comforted by the warmth of Erik in his arms. Just as he began to drift off, a single thought went through his mind. I love you…

Erik woke up to sunlight streaming through the curtains. He stretched, registering where he was. Lou was gone. The analog clock on his nightstand said it was early afternoon. At first, he wasn't sure if he should leave the room. He had no idea if Bettie would take kindly to his presence- he suspected not. But this wasn't the type of situation where he could just Apparate away without a word. He ran his hands through his hair to make it semi presentable and wandered downstairs in his bare feet.

Lou wasn't going to admit how late he had slept in. Erik had worn him out in new ways, and made Lou more comfortable than he could ever recall being. He'd been loathe to drag himself from bed, but how else was Lou supposed to make omelets? He'd been cooking for a bit now, wearing nothing but jeans with his hair still messy from sleep. The hashbrowns were done, a nice crispy golden, and he'd made sausages and bacon. He'd just folded the omelets and was adding the cheese when he heard the sound of shuffling behind him. "Hey, handsome," he greeted, though he didn't turn, carefully laying out the cheese.

Erik blushed when Lou called him handsome. He appreciated the view. However, he behaved himself, especially on the off chance that Bettie was in earshot. "Hey, cutie," he said, lowering his voice and approaching the table. "Looks delicious."

Lou left the cheese to melt a moment, stepping over to pull Erik in for a sweet kiss. "It's just us. Bettie is out." Lou laughed lightly, wrapping his arms loosely around Erik and kissing him again. This was nice. This was really nice. Lou hummed softly, running a hand up into Eriks hair.

Erik smiled at the gesture. Lou was very soft and sweet. Erik kissed him back, completely deafening the tiny alarm bell that was going off in the corner of his mind. It was easier just to enjoy the moment. "Sounds too good to be true," Erik joked. The woman was a witch. She could apparate back at any moment.

Lou chuckled, kissing Erik again before moving back to plate the omelettes. "This time it isn't, she's out doing tutoring so we have time." He moved to the table and set their plates down. "How do you like your coffee?" Lou asked, looking up to Erik with warm eyes

Erik still didn't trust it. He smirked back at Lou, sliding into a chair. "Cream and sugar, please. If you don't have cream, milk is fine." He was nearly salivating over the omelet and he hadn't even tasted it yet. Lou was quite the cook.

Lou smiled, moving to fix them both a cup of coffee before coming over and sitting down with Erik. "Eat up, baby," Lou murmured, a thrill shooting up his spine at the word. He smiled, biting his lip to try and hide it and ducking his head.
