Open Sunny Day

hester rolled her eyes at Seraphinas comment about boogies, but the next thing she said made her REALLY mad. "There called the BAGPIPES!" She protested, glad that tilly was taking her side. she giggled as the Hufflepuff threw a lolly at seraphina.
 
Seraphina felt the candy hit her hair and stomped her foot. "What the heck?" she yelled at the troll. Jenna would not be happy with this hair issue. "Bagpipes, trashbag, it's all the same, right?" she laughed as she tried to pull the candy from her hair.
 
Tilly laughed at the spectacle of Seraphina trying to untangle the Sherbert Lemon. It would wash out fine with some water. Too bad they were second years and didn't know Aguamenti. "Are you allergic to being kind or something?" Tilly asked.
 
hester giggled as she watched seraphina try to get the sweet out of her hair. SHe had never really gotten involved in the fights girls in her dorm had but she was starting to see why they were always fighting. "you could have hung out with us and held big Douglas if you had been nice to us!" Hester said and agreed with Tilyl.
 
Seraphina managed to pull the sweet from her hair and throw it on the ground. "I wouldn't have so many allergies if you didn't block the sun all the time," she said to the troll, insinuating she needed more vitamin D. "What is a big Douglas?"
 
“That doesn’t make any sense,” Tilly said, rolling her eyes. What did allergies have to do with sunlight? Seraphina really was an interesting person. Of course, in the way an itching, annoying scab was interesting.
 
Hester thought serafina was being silly about allergies, but Tilly already said that so she didn't need to say it too. but she did answer the other question. "Big Douglas is my toad!" She said and held him up for Seraphina to see.
 
Seraphina didn't think the troll was very smart. "You know, the vitamins you get from the sun?" she said sarcastically and frowned at the girl. When the toad was revealed, she gasped and put her now sticky hand out. "Can I touch it?" she asked impulsively. Toads were cool!
 
Tilly’s brow furrowed as she processed what Seraphina said. You could get vitamins from the sun? Really. She almost didn’t believe it. They weren’t plants, after all. She watched as Seraphina asked to hold the toad. Tilly was surprised; she thought Seraphina was the type of girl who would be grossed out by animals.
 
the thing Seraphina said about the sun definitely didn't make any sense to Hester, but she was glad her roommate wasn't grossed out by Big Douglas. "You can pat him, but be gentle." She said slowly, keeping an eye on Seraphina to make sure she didn't hurt big Douglas
 
Seraphina beamed as she held out her hand to touch Douglas. Her mom had never let her have pets and would be very against toads. "He's a very nice toad," she said to her roommate and then looked at Tilly. "Are you related?"
 
Tilly snorted. "Yeah, Seraphina, he's my cousin." Why was the Gryffindor such a cranky person? She and Hester were night and day.
 
hester frowned at seraphina, givign her roommate the stink eye. "stop being such a jerk!" she insisted and pulled big Douglas away. "tilly is nice, you don't need t be so rude to her!"
 
Seraphina's slightly pleasant demeanor towards Hester stopped as soon as she pulled the amphibian away. She crossed her arms and stuck out her tongue briefly at the girls. "You're both toads, anyway," she said, turning away and finding a tree to lean against.
