Whenever Diana had imagined herself in her seventh year when she was younger, this was not how she had pictured things. Standing alone by the side of the crowded great hall, a cup of punch in her hand as she stared at the crowd of people having fun. She couldn't deny it any longer, Diana was lonely. She looked great, but there was no one to tell her so. Her only friend was Sapphire, and she seemed busy lately. How had this happened? Even though she was still angry at them, Diana wished for a moment Domi and Winnie had never left. But no, she had decided they weren't worth her time. The problem was, that she had decided that about a lot of people. Diana sipped her punch as she watched her little sister with her date, a younger boy she knew was in Hufflepuff too. At least she seemed to be having a good time, but that was hardly a consolation. She wished Cole was here, at least then she wouldn't look so pathetic and alone. But Diana didn't regret coming tonight. The only thing more pathetic and lonely would be to stay in the dormitory on her own.
