Echo was aware that Sybil was suddenly hit in quick succession. It was bad enough once let alone twice. She winced on her behalf and dove for the Quaffle, tucking it under her arm.
Sybil sucked in a breath as she got hit again. It didn't feel great but she knew she was stronger than that. It took her a few moments to catch her breath before following Echo across the pitch.
Sybil didn't want to steal but it was something worth practicing and when she saw an opening she raced forward and grabbed the quaffle out of Echo's hand and tucked it under her arm as she raced ahead.
Echo had already been hit once, when a second bludger smacked into her too. She scowled at the person who sent it. Echo wasn't a seeker, didn't the beater know that? The second year darted forward as the Quaffle was thrown back out, catching it and keeping her distance from Sunny.
Echo approached the hoops and did what she could to score, but clearly the battering from the bludgers were taking a toll as she completely missed the mark.
