Toby had pretty much given up at this point. It was quite clear the snitch wasn't making an appearance for him anytime soon.

Just as Celia was about to hit a bludger, it shot off out of reach.

 

[Avery Lancaster]

Avery flew lower, skimming across the pitch grass in his search.

 

[Celia Vu]

Celia caught up with the bludger again. She quickly surveyed the pitch and spotted @Toby Oikawa flying off to the side. None of the seekers were doing particularly well, but he hadn't even caught the snitch once. She decided to slam the ball towards him.

Mischa grumbled as another bludger went and missed.

A bludger soared towards Celia, and she decided to knock it towards the nearest player, which happened to be @Terror Zhefarovich.

Celia was finally having some success again, and she smiled as the bludger she hit sailed straight for @Avery Lancaster

Just as Avery was starting to believe he might be bludger free for the rest of the match, another one made impact with him and he winced in pain.

Celia hit the next bludger she came across towards @Seamus Reid, figuring he could use the practice.

Celia had had her reservations about taking on a first year, but Toby had been impressive during tryouts and had done well enough last semester. Now, however, she was wondering if she had made a mistake. She supposed that would be a problem for the next captain to address.

Lennox aimed for the goal and missed again. She was so annoyed. Why couldn't she make a shot today? This was not looking good.

It really wasn't. Celia sighed and looked for a bludger to hit Lennox with.

Lennox knew that one of the beaters would take it out on her for missing so many goals. She had to get her act together. Lennox flew near the hoops, moving enough that she could keep an eye out for bludgers.
