Emmanuel had been looking for a purpose to re-use his pink suit. Since it was such a stark colour, while nice, it didn't go with much. So, he was very glad to suggest a very muggle costume for halloween. He liked spending the time with Penny and had wanted to do a couple's costume. It just made sense, that was what people, couples did. Emmanuel had put on his pink suit and knew that Penny was likely to be in something similar. He had been thinking a lot about their relationship. The conversation with Emrys about Marnie in his head and generally just about having some thoughts about relationships. But for this night, he was focused and waiting for Penny to appear.

Penelope had been thrilled when Emmanuel had asked her for a couple's costume. It was just so cute and romantic, and she had pulled out a pink dress from her closet happily to prepare. It was such a cute costume, and Penelope loved that Emmanuel had had the idea. She made her way to the Great Hall and beamed when she saw him. He really was her boyfriend, and he was waiting for her. Penelope headed up to him. "Hi!"

Emmanuel was very pleased when Penny turned up and she looked amazing. She was a very pretty girl, he knew he should feel lucky. "Hey, you look great, pink is good colour for you," he complimented as he leaned in to give her a quick kiss in greeting, sure that that was what couples did.

Penelope felt positively giddy, which was unlike her. She let out a giggle and did a little twirl, delighted to be here with Emmanuel. This had been everything she wanted. "You think? I just grabbed an old dress." She admitted. She beamed as he kissed her, then took his hand shyly. "You look good in pink too."

Emmanuel nodded. "it's a pretty dress," he said easily, since it was pretty and did look nice on her. Emmanuel gave a warm smile and squeezed her hand as she took his. "Thank you," he replied to the compliment, before giving a little bow. "To the dance floor?" he offered.
