Open S1 Ilvermorny Quidditch Practice

Even though he hadn't technically been aiming for Ragan, AJ guessed he could have done worse than to hit a seeker, even if he was just practicing as one. Deciding he'd waited a bit too long to apologize now, AJ tried to look busy chasing down another bludger to avoid the awkwardness he always felt when he hit a teammate.

Einar was pretty impressed with how well Lucas was playing, it made him pretty proud of his friend. He caught the ball as it was thrown back out into play and was determined to show that he too could play this sport.

AJ was so focused on his pursuit of the bludger, he was almost surprised when he was able to catch up to it handily. Taking a solid swing, AJ grinned as it sailed right on target, careening towards Hope. "Incoming, Hope!" He called a little belatedly, hoping she might be able to at least brace for the hit. @Hope Thompson

Adam was enjoying how frustrated he could make the new players. These chasers always seemed to think that slipping a quaffle by him when he was barely paying them attention suddenly made them a star player. He was the star player here, not anyone else. He didn't get why no one else could recognise that. He tossed the quaffle back into play, hovering around to see who he'd have to humiliate next.

Hope had been looking out for bludgers but she needed to search for the snitch not bludgers and in that moment when she focused on her search again she heard someone calling her. But when she turned around a bludger made contact to her left arm. She spinned for a moment around on her broom. And than took a moment to breath. Bludgers hurted.. she knew again. But she would not give up her search. She looked at AJ for a moment it was sweet her warned her. But this was just the game as well.

Adam yawned, glancing at his wristwatch for the time. As much as everyone else clearly needed the practice, he didn't, and he was already growing bored. He could be doing something that was actually fun with his friends instead.

AJ repositioned as the bludger he'd hit looped back around, hoping he could lob it back at another player. He let out a noise of frustration when his bat connected funny, mostly succeeding in spinning the bludger as it continued on its merry way.

Hope had still some pain at her arm she tried to loosen it up. She continued her search, not giving up on her task.

Einar pushed forward with the quaffle under arm as he continued to push towards the hoops. he knew Adam was a good keeper but he really wanted to score.

Adam straightened up as Einar got closer, preparing himself to block his shot, and trying to judge which hoop he was aiming for.

Hope continued and thought she saw an golden piece right to her. She focused on her own again and tried to get closer to what she thought she saw.

Einar threw the ball hard as he got to the hoops, but the keeper managed to catch it with ease.

Deciding to try and give their seekers a break, AJ tried aiming a bludger at Einar, since he had the quaffle. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great hit and Einar had already moved to take his shot before AJ had even come close to hitting him.

Eli was frustrated with the practice so far. It was... boring. He tried to hit a bludger at one of the new chasers, but missed. He sighed, then flew after it.

Hope was not giving up her own hope. But it was frustration that she didn't seemed to be getting somewhere. She tried to find the golden thingy but it was not easy. But she moved on.

Deciding to try and take a shot at Cayleigh, AJ swung his bat, satisfied with the solid hit. The angle had been a bit wonky though, and AJ winced as the bludger spiraled in the wrong direction, straight into Adam instead. AJ quickly made himself look busy hunting down the other bludger in the hopes of avoiding their Keeper's ire. @Adam Everett

Adam had been casually minding his own business, when a bludger came out of nowhere and almost knocked the shades from his face. "Ack! My nose!" He screamed, pinching the bridge of it. It felt hot, and he dabbed at it to check for blood. It came away with nothing, but he was sure it just hadn't started yet. "I might be bleeding. Who did that? Who did that?!" He shouted, glaring daggers at the beaters from behind his lopsided glasses.

Lucas had caught the ball when it was thrown back in, and had just turned to offer it to Einar or the other chaser when the keeper was hit with a bludger. Eyes wide at the boys anger, Lucas shot behind Einar, peeking out from behind him. "You can throw it," he offered softly.

@Einar Haines

Hope noticed Adam was hit by an bludger. She looked painfull for a moment and flew closer to him perhaps the snitch was to be found somewhere here. '' Are you okay?'' The brunette than asked. And looked out for an golden thingy.

Adam righted himself as Hope flew over, and busied himself with repositioning the shades hanging loosely from him. "I'm fine, I'm fine. I've had worse." He said, shrugging it off like it was no big deal. He'd still give whoever it was an earful, but he enjoyed the concern. "These beaters don't know what they're doing. How do I look?" He continued, stopping to get her opinion now that he'd fixed his appearance up.

AJ tried to do his best to look innocent when Adam raged across the pitch. He had felt bad, since it had been an accident, but it felt kinda nice to knock Adam down a peg for once. Literally. AJ was so focused on acting like he was looking for bludgers he nearly fell off his broom when one actually whizzed past him.

Hope was glad that Adam was doing fine. And she continued her search, the snitch was not close to him at least she could tell.

Einar took the ball as Lucas threw it to him, there was a lot of yelling from a certain keeper but Einar just focused himself on the task at hand. getting as close to the hoops as he could and then scoring.

Cayleigh couldn't help but giggle when AJ managed to hit Adam with a bludger. She found a bludger, and soared after it. With a swing, her bat connected. She wasn't aiming for Adam since she knew another hit or two and he would be out (seeing as his attitude might make it worth it anyway), she watched as the bludger hit @Lucas Ames

Ragan did not notice the bludger as he came and smashed his ribcage. He swerved and nearly lost control of his broom, but he managed. He waved at AJ, the one that hit him, with no hard feelings. It was their job after all. Ragan released his breath and continued to do his job.
