Cayleigh Baros was feeling a little bit better since the start of the year. She sent out a notice to the team to let them know about the practice. She smiled toward the others, and said, "Hey, so welcome to the first practice! Um, we only have one keeper, so Adam, you guard the north hoops. Chasers will have to circle around mid pitch. Beaters, work on hitting others! I can have a nurse here in two minutes if you need one, so don't push yourselves if you get hit too much. Ragan, I want you to practice being a seeker, in case Beauxbatons or Hogwarts will knock one out. So, let's get going everyone!" Cayleigh used the unlocking spell to release the quaffle, bludgers, and the snitch into the sky. At least it was a bright, sunny day. A little windy, but that was about it.

AJ was curious what it was going to be like playing with a few new faces on the team. It was hard not to feel a little pressured with now double the number of beaters they had the bench just waiting for an excuse to not have AJ play, though he was relieved Cayleigh had one of the new ones set up to play as seeker. Giving Cayleigh a thumbs up, he gave his bat a few practice swings to warm up before they got into the game proper.

Dominic was excited to get back on the pitch and get practice started. He stood next to Cayleigh and smiled as the rest of the team arrived. "Just do exactly what she said!" he said with a definitive nod once his co-captain finished her speech. "Our game with Beauxbatons will be here before we know it! Lets go!" he cheered as he watched the rest of the team take off.

Adam huffed quietly to himself as Cayleigh stumbled through her speech, and took to the sky to hover in front of the hoops. Himself against every chaser on the team? That was no challenge. If everyone else would just get to his level, Beauxbatons would be a breeze.

Einar walked on to the quidditch pitch as the other players did. he couldn't believe that this would be his second year on the team, and he was pretty happy that on the team with him this year was Lucas. What it did mean though was that if Lucas got hit with bludger he knew his anger would go direct to the person who had hit it, which Einar knew wasn't great for a team but he'd deal with it.

Eli was not looking forward to this practice. He was sick of being an alternate and almost wondered if he should just give up. But he didn't want to give up his spot to someone else, someone less good than him. He crossed his arms as he listened to the captain speak, rolling his eyes as she spoke about a nurse. The players needed to get used to bludgers. Once the practice started, Eli took to the air with his bat in his hand.

Hope was ready for practice she wanted to do better than next year. And some practice was always good. The brunette joined the team on the pitch and smiled as she saw Cayleigh hoping that she was doing a little better after she had told her about losing some family members. That was ofcourse really painfull. They needed to play against Beauxbatons again and this team they had to win. Hope was just positive and they were the newer team here so they had to biggest steps to make. She was sad not to see Noah returning but she just needed to do her very best. Hope was waiting with her broom to get started.

Ragan took to the skies, not sure how to feel about being a seeker, but she did have a point. This would be a great way to show the team what he was made of.

Cayleigh smiled toward Dominic before mounting her broom. She soared into the sky, with her beater's bat in hand. Last thing she wanted was a horrible practice, but she would see how the team worked.

With the practice in motion, AJ flew across the field, trying to incept the bludgers as they got into the air. He was still feeling a little rusty after not getting to practice much over the break and his reflexes weren't up to speed yet to let him keep up with either bludger.

Adam hovered lazily between his hoops, giving an exaggerated yawn while he waited for the chasers to fly over.

Tailing a bludger, AJ took a wide swing, grimacing when his bat whiffed and AJ had to grip his broom tight to not over balance. Giving himself a little shake, AJ tore off after the bludger again, determined to land a good hit today.

Dominic managed to get hold of the quaffle and started to make his way towards the hoops where Adam was waiting. He smirked, just waiting for what kind of attitude he would be in today.

AJ swore he didn't remember the bludgers being this fast this year, gritting his teeth as he just managed to knock one with his bat. It was a bad hit though, the bludger barely moving on its course across the pitch and no where near a player.

Adam straightened himself up as Dominic was the first to fly over. Co-captain wasn't about to make him any better of a chaser, and he was prepared to prove that as he had with Isaak.

Taking a quick turn, AJ grinned when he finally managed to land a solid hit, only to groan a moment later as he watched the bludger sale uselessly off into an empty part of the pitch. "Right.. Hitting down, aiming next," He muttered to himself.

Einar was of course frustrated when he wasn't the one who'd been able to catch the ball, but he followed the other chaser hoping for a chance to steal the ball from them.

Adam yawned and rolled his shoulders, withdrawing a pair of shades from his pockets to wear. He had an aesthetic to commit to, and with how shockingly bad his teammates were at Quidditch, he figured he could get away with putting more effort into his appearance than the game.

Hope quickly jumped on her broom as they started and started her search for the snitch. She would have time, but she wanted to catch it quickly. She didn't spotted something yet so had to look in different area's.

Eli flew after the bludger AJ had just hit, but failed to hit it as well. Frustrated, he chased after it.

Adam took off his shades and turned them around in his hand, taking the time to fix his hair in the reflection of the lens.

Hope flew to the left side of the pitch. She didn't had someone to compete with now so she had to do it on her own for this moment. So far no sight yet.

God, Adam looked good. He set his shades back on his nose and pushed them up, continuing to hover between his hoops.

Dominic finally made it to the goals but Adam was able to block it easily. "I'm just taking it easy on you." he teased. Waiting for one of the other chasers to have their turn.

Adam pushed himself into gear by the time Dominic got close enough, and dived to block the quaffle. It was a good thing he'd put his shades on, for they obscured the glare he was shooting the older boy as he tossed the ball back into play. "Cute. So am I." He scoffed. Who did these chasers think they were?
