Minnie knew that they need to practice. She also wanted to put her plan into action and hoped that it would actually work. She was waiting for her team to appear and keen to get started. There was a lot that she wanted to get started on in this practice, and she knew that she needed to get to it quickly. Minnie had her clipboard with ample notes about what she wanted to do, as she waited she was making little notes to it. She wanted to make sure she had the strongest team she could, ”No one go up into the air just yet, let’s let everyone get here and then we’ll move to start the practice.” she said as the first few people arrived. Keen to just keep everyone on the ground.

Emily walked to the pitch with her broom in her hand. She got the position of alternate beater, but that didn't matter much. She was going to learn plenty anyway and people got hurt every game so there was still a chance she was allowed to play. Soon she arrived at the pitch and greeted everyone. She was ready to play and kick some ass.

Minnie had so many ideas for the team that Lars felt a little overwhelmed and a little inadequate. As he stood next to her with her clipboard, he felt even more nervous and awkward. He nodded as Minnie told them not to fly just yet. He knew she had plans to share with them, and he hoped no one would notice how uneasy he felt in this position.

Lily was proud of herself for making the team, knowing that an Alt was just an important as an actual player. If Minnie went down, she'd' be the first person asked to take the older girls position. That was, as long as she played well enough not to get kicked off. She waited to hear what the Captains were going to say, excitedly moving her broom from one hand to the other as she grinned at them.

Thalia was nervous for her first Quidditch practice, but at least she had her sister with her and she had been so happy that they’d both made the team, not even as alternates. She arrived to the pitch with her twin and smiled a little shyly at everyone, sometimes wishing she wasn’t so timid in front of a group. Hopefully she was going to get used to being around these people, at least.

Chloe was more than ready to kick some butt this year in Quidditch. She had a good feeling about this year, though she always tended to have a good feeling at the beginning of each year when it came to Quidditch, maybe it was just her optimism. Still, she was more than ready for the season to begin. She arrived to the pitch with her broom in hand and greeted her teammates, excited to start this practice with many new members.

Was she still a little surprised about the fact that the twins had both gotten the positions they had tried out for? Without a doubt, but she was way too excited to have that bother her now. Walking next to her sister as they arrived on the pitch, she happily greeted her teammates.

Being able to get on the team let Arinna have her own broomstick from Ari. She was so happy when the mail came in, bearing the package just this morning. She happily carried it on her shoulder as she made her way to the pitch. She waved hello to everyone who were already there including the captains.

Joining the quidditch team had been about as amazing as he thought it would be. This was their first practice and Ajax was more than eager to just get stuck into it. He had his broom in hand as he joined the rest of the team on the pitch. He smiled at them all and waved pretty much to all of them. He was just so eager to get started.

Minnie spotted that everyone - or almost everyone - had arrived at the quidditch pitch. She gave Lars a little thumbs up and then cleared her throat, ”So, before we get started, there were just a few things I wanted to say,” Minnie smiled at them all, making sure that her voice sounded as confident as she could make it. ”For the first part of this practice we will be playing in our usual positions, let’s split the team, so myself, Hattie, Thalia, and Arinna will form one team, team A. Chloe, Teodora, Elizabeth and Ajaccio form team B. Lars as our only keeper you'll just be the keeper and Emily, you play for neither team, hit whoever you want - you can be our rogue beater. We’ll play against each other, but the only difference will be no matter who catches the snitch, we won’t wrap, we’ll just pause for a moment and then start back up.” She said, looking between them and making sure there were nods of heads. ”Towards the end of the practice, I’ll bring us all back and we’ll switch up positions, so everyone will play as different position, sound good?” she left a bit of space for question but just nodded, ”Right, let’s get started,” and she took out her wand and flicked it lightly so the chest with the snitch, quaffle and bludgers would come flying out. She tossed up the quaffle for the chasers to catch it before getting on her own broom and heading into the air to get this under way

Thalia listened to the captain, a little nervously as she told them what they would be doing. She seemed so confident despite only being a couple of years or so older than her. Splitting into two teams, that seemed fair. She stuck out her tongue at her sister before she got onto her broom, and secured the quaffle, tucking it under her arm before Tee could get it. Then, she began to fly towards the hoops, wondering if the other chaser wanted to catch it from her.

Chloe beamed when Minnie told the team what they were going to do, finally they were getting some practice! She’d been waiting all summer for this. Or winter, if you lived in New Zealand. The girl hopped on her broom when the other girl was done speaking and she immediately went to search for a bludger, hoping her A game was on today.

Teodora nodded as the captain spoke up, feeling both excited and a little nervous now because they'd be splitting the teams. She grinned at her Thalia and immediately chased after her once she was up in the air herself. She'd be rooting for her sister if she wasn't on the opposing team for this practice.

Ajaccio. listened as the quidditch captain gave them several pieces of information. He spotted those on team B with him, and flew up into the air. He pushed to catch the ball, but someone in the opposite team managed it before he could. So, he just started following after her in the hopes of getting the ball - enjoying that this was his first real experience of an almost quidditch game.

Minnie knew she'd have to focus on her own position and not too much on what was going on, but she knew too, that she'd have to try to do both. As they kicked off, she didn't mind which of the teams had the ball and knew best to spend a little time just focusing on the snitch search.

Emily was the rogue beater and twirled her bat into her hands. She flew up high into the air and searched for bludgers to wack towards members of the team. Emily spotted a bludger up high and wacked tried to wack it towards one of the chasers, but the wind carried the bludger easily away.

Chloe kept searching for bludgers, a little wary of @Emily Underwood who was their rogue beater but curious to see what would happen, and decided to stick close to the chasers to protect them.

Thalia kept pushing forward, wondering where the other chaser had gone off to, but she shrugged, and decided she would give scoring a shot. She neared the hoops and threw as hard as she could but to her disappointment it went wide.

Lars listened and nodded along as Minnie took charge again and told them what they were going to do. He would just have to do his usual job, not even really having to pay attention to the different teams though he would try to. He nodded as Minnie finished, then got to the air and flew to the hoops. One of the twins got the quaffle first, but Lars had no idea which one it was.He was relieved when the goal went wide, and he grabbed the quaffle and threw it back into play. Lars at least hadn't failed at his very first practice as co-captain.

Teodora caught the Quaffle once it was thrown back into play again and flew a half-lap around the pitch so she could fly back towards the hoops again with the appropriate distance.

Minnie wasn't too surprised that Lars had managed to block the scoring of the new chaser, but both of them seemed rather good. She was quite sure that together they'd play well too. Though she let her attention then just focus on finding the snitch and not being too distracted.

Ajaccio was very pleased when Team A didn't manage to score and even happier when his team caught the ball. He had hoped to catch it himself, but instead he flew next to his teammate and would help out. if he needed to.

Not sure if she should try to score herself or pass the Quaffle over to teammate once the neared the hoops, Teodora decided to take a shot at it herself with the idea that she would let him try it next time they had possession of the Quaffle. Throwing the ball as hard as she could, she pointed when the Keeper caught it almost too easily.

Ajaccio rushed forward when the keeper threw the ball back out, he hadn't expected to catch it, but he flew out to be able to circle back and try scoring. He hoped he might actually get it in, but he didn't think he would manage it.

Minnie was a little disappointed that no one had score yet, and also proud of Lars. She wanted the chasers to score, but she also wanted Lars to stop them. She tried to stop herself from thinking too hard about it as she continued to search for the snitch.
