Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y40 S1

Spotting a bludger nearby, Finn flew towards it and swung, not surprised when the ball rushed right past Valerius. He was surprised, though, when he managed to hit @Xiuying Huang instead.

Valerius x2
Branson x1
Niklaus x1
Xiuying x1

Juniper saw Finn gain another bludger hit and gave him a thumbs up, feeling really down she was also not doing well.

Lurking by the hoops, Sawyer tried to keep an eye on both the chasers and Juniper. Just in case.

Juniper twirled her bat a few times, leaning back on the broom and making sure her teammates were doing okay. She felt bad one of the new players had already been hit twice, but hey, that was the game.

Xiuying grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown in and made her way towards the hoops, wincing in pain when she was hit by the bludger, but kept going and was determined.

Branson was flying close to the young chaser who'd caught the ball, hoping for an opportunity to take it, but knowing it was good if they also got a chance to try scoring.

Valeria missed another bludger, with a swing that almost had her falling from her broom. She was quick to recover and tidy herself up before just flying off as if nothing had happened.

Once Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, she throws the quaffle into the hoops but completely misses her shot.

Branson caught the ball after it was thrown back out. He began heading again to the other hoops.

Valeria was trying her best to get bludgers but on this occasion she wasn't even quick enough to reach it.

As soon as Branson was close enough to the hoops he threw the ball, using the little trick the gryffindor keeper had shown him and he was very glad to watch the ball sail threw a hoop.

Valeria kept trying to hit bludgers but the last one missed entirely. She was having a lot of scattered luck.

Juniper saw Branson score and felt like that was a good omen. Shortly after, she caught up with one of the bludgers and whacked it towards @Sawyer Carnahan because it was only fair to divy up the hits.

Valerius x2
Branson x1
Niklaus x1
Xiuying x1
Sawyer x1[/bludger]

When the quaffle was thrown back in, Xiuying grabbed a hold of the ball, and made her way back to the other hoops

Sawyer ducked forward when Xuiying took her first shot, grabbing it fairly easily as the shot fell short before throwing it back out. He was watching Branson across the pitch and completely missed the bludger Juniper sent his way until it had already hit him square on, spinning his broom slightly. He was going to try and make a pithy joke to her, but he mostly just suceeded in wheezing pathetically while he tried to get his breath back.

Axel saved the next quaffle to come his way but quidditch was about the most recent thing he'd done, and he'd just let another goal score. The Ravenclaw who'd done it, Branson he was pretty sure though he was still trying to get names straight, had done something from his broom that had made Axel think he was going one way and then he'd gone another. It was good flying, and he knew he needed to get better at his position so he didn't miss things like that.

Nick just followed Xiuying through the pitch in case if she needed him.

Juniper felt a little bad about hitting Sawyer, as she really liked teasing him, but she quickly shook that off and headed towards another bludger.

Regaining his composure, Sawyer tried to shake off the hit, focusing on the two chasers approaching the hoops.

Finn tried to stay calm and keep his grip on his broom as he flew on, looking around for any opening.

The bludger hit was starting to hurt a bit less now and Sawyer shook out his arms, keeping his eyes trained on Xiuying and Niklaus as they approached.

When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, she threw the quaffle into the hoops but again completely missed. Which slowly started to frustrate her.

Finn flew on, keeping his eyes focused on the game, hoping he could pull things around and get a few more hits. He didn't want to totally disappoint his oldest sister.
