Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y40 S1

Sawyer relaxed some when he saw Branson grab the quaffle again, leaning on his broom and grinning. The new chasers were gonna need to be on their A-game to keep up. He was distracted when he saw the new seeker grab the snitch already, especially right after taking a bludger, letting out an impressed whistle.

When Branson got close again - which admittedly didn't take long - he threw the ball and was happy when it sailed easily through one of the hoops. He grinned easily.

Valeria tried to hit another bludger but got distract as the one chaser of her team managed to score. In her distraction she almost let herself get hit by a bludger.

Flying on, Finn abruptly clutched onto his broom as a breeze buffeted him, sending him swaying dangerously side to side.

Hamish was trying to focus, and was surprised when out of nowhere the other seeker had the snitch. He frowned, but decided to try and do his best to resume his search. This was a game of skill, but also a game of luck. He was sure to turn this around soon.

Pleased already, Valerius returned to his search, sure he would find the snitch again soon.

Branson made another goal and Sawyer shifted his broom, keeping an eye out as the quaffle was thrown back into play.

Nick caught the quaffle as it was back in the game and went towards Sawyer again, not planning to let Branson steal the quaffle again. It was cool that the new seeker caught the snitch but Nick paid attention to his own ball so he didn't get distracted.

Keeping a grip on his broom, Finn did his best to right himself and fly on, looking for a nearby bludger.

Valerius continued his search.

Hamish continued his search.

Juniper was glad to see her team doing so well with a score and a snitch catch. She thought she'd give the newer players a little bit of a break (for a while) and smacked a bludger towards @Branson Archer , excited that it made contact.

Valerius x1
Branson x1

Branson groaned as he was hit by a bludger, it was hard, sore. He just followed the chaser of the other team, ready to try and take the ball if he could.

Valeria continued to search for bludgers to hit with her bat, but the one she hit that occasion went completely wide.

Sawyer grinned as Niklaus got ahold of the quaffle again, squaring up in front of the hoops as he made his way over. He was half-hoping that Branson would steal it again, but it seemed Juniper wasn't going to let it happen as she knocked a bludger into him, which couldn't have been pleasant.

Juniper was glad to see at least one hit during the game. It was definitely a challenge to focus on the team and building her own skills, but she was managing.

Sawyer felt himself drifting slightly to the left, still keeping his eye on the chasers and the quaffle.

Nick felt like he was able to make it through and threw the quaffle and the hoops, loudly cheering when the ball went through them.

Finn kept a tight grip on his broom, flying around the pitch to try and find a good angle on a bludger.

Sawyer hadn't realized just how fast Niklaus was coming until he was already throwing the quaffle and he was too slow to get infront of the right hoop to block. Clicking his tongue and giving Niklaus a sheepish look, he threw the quaffle back out, hoping Branson could get it.

Gripping his bat, Finn made his way towards a bludger and swung, though he hit it at an off angle, watching in disappointment as the ball spun uselessly away.

Shaking his hands out, Sawyer tried not to let missing the first save of practice bug him too much, focusing on the game instead.

Sawyer ducked instinctively when he saw Juniper on the move out of the corner of his eye, relieved when no bludger seemed to be heading his way.

Finn flew on, starting to think his hit earlier had been a fluke. Maybe Juniper had been mistaken to give him this position after all.
