It frustrated Hugo that Ilvermorny scored immediately, but he kept on looking for the snitch. At least Beauxbatons was in possession now, they could make it even.

AJ tried to keep an eye on both of the seekers, as well the bludgers, but it was easy to get overwhelmed. He moved forward when he saw one coming close to him and Hope, but it never flew close enough to hit.

Eli kept chasing the bludger, but didn't manage to hit it. He smiled a bit as Lucas scored. At least they had that going for them.

Hope was glad that their team was able to score. The other seeker was an bit younger but that didn’t ment anything. Hope continued her search.

Adam had looked his best today, eager to impress some of the Beauxbatons girls. His keeper skills and irresistible charm alone would no doubt be enough, but he’d spent extra time on his hair just to help. He ran his fingers through it almost constantly as he waited for the match to start, shooting Zeke an annoyed look when he started chatting up the team in French. Ugh. Taking to the sky, Adam hovered in front of his hoops to watch to game, doing his best to look impressive.

Dominic cheered as Lucas managed to make the first goal of the game. "Way to go!" he shouted and didn't miss a beat before turning around to follow the Beauxbaton's chaser, looking for a chance to steal.

Édelie looked for a way to potentially pass to Gaby. She was better at scoring than she was, and maybe they'd be better off if she attempted. But she didn't see an in so she kept flying towards their chaser.

AJ was glad Hope wasn't under any heavy fire from the bludgers yet, but it was keeping his nerves on edge as he continued to trail after her across the pitch.

Mualla didn't like that Ilvermorny managed to score a goal immediately but was confident that their team would even it out again soon. In the meantime, she was looking for bludgers still

Pleased with himself, Lucas followed after the others.

Aramis re-centered himself as he watched Édelie approach the other hoops. Hopefully she could even out the score.

Adam hovered around, subtly turning every so often to allow the wind to catch his hair at the right angles.

Édelie didn't see a chance to pass to Gaby and attempted to score. She threw it towards the Ilvermorny chaser who blocked it. Frustrated, she waited for it to be passed out again.

"Good job Adam!" Dominic shouted, not afriad to feed his ego now that they needed it. He grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back in and was ready to face off against the Beauxbatons keeper.

Édelie unfortunately missed her shot and Aramis watched closely, drifting back and forth in front of the hoops, to see which chaser would take possession now.

A small smirk played on Adams lips as he caught the quaffle, and he offered the French chaser a somewhat flirtatious wink. He tossed the quaffle to Dominic, glad to see his talents finally recognised by his own team.

Lucas followed after Dominic, humming lightly to himself. They were doing good so far. Hopefully the seeker girl would bring home the victory. If nothing else, they were doing really well so far. That was something, right?

Dominic looked for someone to pass to, but he noticed he had a clear shot and figured it was worth a shot. He threw the quaffle through the left hoop and let out an excited yell as it went through. He was feeling good. Hopefully Hope would be just as lucky.

Aramis groaned when Ilvermorny managed to get another shot past him. The Americans were nothing like Gaby and Édelie and Aramis couldn't keep up yet. Fetching the quaffle, he threw it back out to their team, hoping the rest of the team could fare a bit better.

AJ was pleasantly surprised that it seemed like they were doing well so far. He'd managed a hit, they'd gotten some goals, Adam had saved one. If he could keep Hope from getting knocked around too much, maybe they could actually win.

Adam's teammates somehow not making fools of themselves this time was almost shocking. Adam couldn't say he was proud of them, but he was proud of himself. They'd probably finally learned something from him.

Aramis was starting to realize he might need to actually step his game up today, considering how new their team was compared to Ilvermorny's line up. Having two goals score on him already had been a bit of a rude wake up call.

Feeling more confident, AJ took another swing at a bludger, wondering if he could hamper the French seeker even more, but the bludger shot off elsewhere across the pitch and he sighed.

Édelie watched as one of the American boys winked at him and scrunched up her face in confusion. She wasn't sure why he was interacting with her. They had a game to play. Unfortunately, the other chasers scored again, and Édelie caught the quaffle as it was thrown back out, hoping that they could catch up or Hugo would catch the snitch soon.
