Ilvermorny Quidditch Practice!

Adam glowered at the captain while the older boy blew up at him, just barely stopping himself from rolling his eyes. Prove his point, much? Adam was the one who had been hit because the captain's cousin or sister or whatever she was couldn't do her job right, so how was he the bad guy here? This was ridiculous. They couldn't replace Adam, he was the only one playing Keeper, and he was damn sure any of the alternates would suck in his position. But he couldn't afford to be kicked off, how would he impress girls then? "Sure. I can be a team player." He responded. Unlike the rest of the team. His thoughts finished. Cayleigh was the one who had hit him, and Isaak was the one ruining the practice for everyone else by picking sides and forcing everyone to stop. Surely everyone could see that Adam was completely innocent here.

Isaak narrowed his eyes but didn’t think that Adam would ruin his chance to be on the team. “Very well, but keep your opinions to yourself, okay?” Isaak’s temper melted away with a very small grin. He then shouted as loud as he could, “Game on!”

It was a relief when Isaak and Adam were able to short things out. AJ was half certain Isaak would't accept Adam's apology and kick him out anyway, which would have been bad. He knew they only had extra beaters and he certainly didn't want to try to play keeper. Getting back into the game now that the time out was over, AJ took a swing at a passing bludger, though he was a bit relieved when it swerved uselessly away from his target. It didn't seem nice to immediately hit one of the seekers before they ready to get back to playing.

Cayleigh nodded toward AJ when he mentioned that they could weaponize it. She did feel bad about her cousin's temper though. She didn't care as long as they all got to play Quidditch. She heard the game was back on, so she flew off to go see about protecting the other members of the team. She was still bitter, though, but she would have to remember not to hit it toward the overdramatic keeper.

Hope didn't paid attention to what was going on around her. But she heard some people yelling at eachother. She hoped everything was fine. She tried to avoid the bludgers and went on with her search.

Noah decided to follow Hope instead of paying any attention to the drama below them. He thought that she had seen the snitch which was way more important at the moment.

Hope saw that Noah followed her and grinned shortly but continued her search. If she spotted the snitch she would be the one to catch it.

Eli had been busy chasing a bludger, and hadn't immediately noticed the drama going on. When he realized what was happening, though, he'd laughed quietly. He didn't like Adam, but this was definitely amusing. He enjoyed the stand off between the two of them for a bit, and then when the game got started again Eli hit the bludger at one of his teammates. He'd originally been aiming for Adam, but he had now been hit already and been dramatic about it, and Eli didn't want to seem like he was picking a side in this argument. Both sides were dumb, in his opinion. Instead, he sent the bludger to AJ, wondering if the boy would be able to block it.

AJ panicked when he saw Eli hit a bludger towards him. Unable to decide if he wanted to duck or try to knock it back, AJ mostly just swiveled on his broom, giving the bludger a fine target to slam into his shoulder. "Ouch shh-" AJ clenched his teeth shut and hissed, nearly dropping his bat in his aborted swing. "Okay, bludgers hurt, got it," He said, eyes watering.

ooc: so i think einar last had the ball and he tried to score, but it failed, since it's been like more than 4 hours since other posts on the matter....

Rule 2a

Einar was able to get the ball, and began once again pushing towards the goal. he was pleased whatever it was had been resolved unwilling to spend time settling disputes, they were here to practice and improve.

Adam was kicked into high gear, and after Isaaks tantrum, he felt more motivated to show off his skill as a Keeper and stop any of them from scoring. Team player? Not anymore. It was him against everyone else. The dark horse. The lone underdog. He'd show them.

Noah saw the grin on Hope's face when she noticed that he was following her and grinned too, following closely behind.

Einar kept pushing forward, the ball tight in his grasp. He'd score as soon as he got close enough to do so.

2a

Isaak flew next to Einar and soon the quaffle was passed. Isaak pushed ahead. He narrowed his eyes and continued, very much ready to score.

Cayleigh winced a bit when AJ got hit by a bludger by Eli. Ouch. She saw one heading toward two of the chasers, which she batted away. At least she didn't hit someone this time, since the bludger soared to the west of the pitch.

Shaking his arm out to try and ease the sting, AJ felt apprehensive as he eyed up another bludger, chasing after the one Cayleigh had just hit. He hit it wide, mostly just hoping to knock it back in the direction of play and watched as it soared towards the chasers, managing to hit @Dominic Torres square on. Man, bludgers were blood-thirsty.

Adam watched as the captain took the quaffle from the little kid, which meant blocking would probably be harder, but he was more keen to make Isaak look a fool. He gripped his broom, keeping an eye out for which hoop he might shoot for.

Isaak came close to the hoops and unsurprising, his shot was blocked. As long as Everett performed this well the whole time, the keeper would really show some talent. Isaak flew back around to await for the quaffle to be thrown back out.

Everett hid his smug smirk until the captain had turned his back. Easy. He tossed the quaffle back into play, and fly toward the middle hoops to see who he'd have to contend with next.

Dominic grabbed the quaffle as Adam threw it back out after Isaak missed his shot. He was excited to have a shot at trying to make a goal or practice passing it off to one of the other chasers. But from out of nowhere he felt a pain in his shoulder as a bludger made contact. He yelped in pain and ended up dropping the quaffle. He watched it fall hoping another chaser would catch it as he held his arm.

Isaak watched as Dominic was struck by a bludger. The Pukwudgie dove down and caught the quaffle, before going back up to fly next to Dominic, "You all right to fly with the quaffle?" Isaak asked, preparing to pass it to him, though wouldn't if he was too injured.

It was a miracle that he had not been hit by a bludger yet, but he did not complain. Still on Hope's tail, the teen hoped that he would be able to scoop the catch from under her nose.

Isaak nodded briefly, before going toward the half point mark of the pitch. Maybe a little bit of a break would help with the chaser's shoulder. After all, even Isaak was still sore after his hit.

(OOC: Practice ends in 3 days, y'all!)

Hope continued her search but hadn't much luck. She hoped she would catch it one more time. And looked around left and right to see where the snitch would be.

Adam's eyes darted from Dominic to Isaak, annoyed that the captain was in possession again. He was the last person he wanted in his personal space right now, which naturally took up the entirety of the scoring zone, yet he seemed unable to get rid of him for long enough. He huffed his displeasure quietly to himself and hovered between the hoops, hoping to at least show him up again.
