Isaak Baros got around to all of the Quidditch players, to announce the the practice session. Isaak wanted to have a good one, and figured that they would all get to have fun, and work together as a team. This was their first practice together. Isaak tapped his clipboard while he sat on his broom on the pitch, slightly hovered. Isaak only had one keeper, so he had to really improvise it. He glanced up to see that the team was arriving. This practice would require everyone to participate. Once the players got there, Isaak smiled at them. "Hey guys! So, this is our first practice! Okay, so we only have one keeper, so Everett, you need to guard the south hoops. Us chasers, since we can't split three up, we will try to score in the south hoops. Then, we need to circle around to the half way point, and go again. The seekers, there is one snitch, catch it as many times as you can! Beaters... Carter and Baros, protect the players. Ari, you hit the players. Have any questions, feel free to ask me! And let's get it going!" Isaak used his wand to open the box with the snitch, bludgers, and quaffle. He used the hovering charm to toss the quaffle high in the air, to make it fair for the other chasers, and not just him.

OOC: Practice ends on January 18th! Post as much as you can, within the Quidditch rules!

Hope was excited for the first practice, but also nervous. What if she didn't catched it? She had to prove herself again and she hoped Noah would do good as well. He was nice to her and they had practiced together as well. Hope was glad there didn't seemed much competition going on not at least in a hatefull way. She joined Isaak and smiled to him. Hope waited for the instructions and than nodded. When the snitch was released she jumped on her broom and flew into the air. Trying to following the snitch who seemed to be so fast that she had to step up her game. She saw Noah going also and hoped it would be a good practice.

Cayleigh felt pretty good about the practice. She arrived on the pitch and listened to her cousin speak. She was assigned with protecting the players. Shame, she wanted to hit players! Oh well. She took her bat, and mounted her broom. She took off into the air and watched the players, looking in case there was a bludger around to hit away from a player.

Arriving at the pitch along with some of the others, Noah started doing stretches before Isaak would start. Flashing Hope a smile, Noah hoped that their practice sessions would have helped with their chances of catching it now. He mounted his broom and kicked off the ground, following the snitch. It was quick and in a matter of seconds, he had lost it again. Scouting the skies in search of that pesky golden ball, the boy watched the other seeker every now and then to see if she had found anything.

Einar hadn't expected to actually get on to the team, but he had, and now found himself at a practice. He didn't think this was a good idea now, he was just going to drag the team down. He stood a little apart from the rest keeping a visible distance between them and him. He had his school broom at his feet and arms crossed in front of himself as he listened to the captain. He took his broom when he was supposed to and flew up into the air. He grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown up and he headed to the south hoop.

Adam had almost completely forgotten that trying out for the Quidditch team meant that he'd actually need to participate, instead of using his new position as another bragging tool. Reluctantly, he joined the others on the pitch, smirking to himself as he was one of the ones Baros referred to by name. That's right. He was the only Keeper, which made him totally invaluable. Adam mounted his broom and kicked off, floating over to the southern hoops with a yawn. He watched Einar take possession of the quaffle first, and got himself comfortable. Blocking some second-year kids shot wasn't going to be tough at all.

Hope went on to search for the snitch. Now it really felt like real and she hoped the golden snitch would show up soon, she tried to spot it but it was so tiny.

He spotted it close to the northern hoops. Pushing his broomstick for more speed, he did not want to lose it this time, the boy rushed over to the other side of the Quidditch pitch and started his chase with the golden snitch. As soon as Noah was close enough to grab it he snatched it out of the air and came to an abrupt halt. "I got it!" he yelled, raising his clutched fist so that everyone could see it. Once he was sure that they had he let go of the snitch and watched it fly off.

AJ tried not to flinch when the bludgers were released, tensing his grip on his and nodding. "Okay, hit the players, I can do that... Hit the players," AJ mumbled to himself, taking off higher and eying the other two beaters consideringly. He didn't know Cayleigh very well, but Eli kind of scared him and he wasn't keen on the whole two against one deal. Even if that wasn't really how it worked. Technically the bludgers were on his side too. Even if they wouldn't care if they managed hit him or one of the team.

Banking hard, AJ pulled up alongside one of the bludgers, thankful it seemed to going mostly in a straight line as his bat connected, sticking out his tongue as he tried to direct it towards one of the other beaters to start with. Unfortunately, either the angle was wrong or the bludger hated him as it streaked off course, flying straight into their captain instead. "Sorry!" AJ called, wincing despite the fact that he was technically successful in his job. @Isaak Baros

Isaak Baros saw that another one of the chasers went after the quaffle. Isaak soared off after the chaser, in case he was needed, although, what he didn't expect was one of the seekers to catch the snitch, and get hit with a bludger right on his ribs. He gave a small thumbs up to AJ Ari, since that was what he was supposed to do after all.

Cayleigh could not get to Isaak in time to protect him from the hit, which made her wince somewhat. She was already failing her team. She was a lot better hitting towards than away unfortunately.

Einar pushed quickly forward and then when he was close enough, he threw the quaffle hard, and was quite surprised when it actually went in. That wasn't usually his luck, and he couldn't help the soaring in his chest as he did it. He hadn't completely ruined his first attempt to get involved.

Adam hadn't thought he would need to put in effort to stop this kid from scoring, and stared at the quaffle in bewilderment as it sailed past the tips of his fingers. "Lucky shot." He muttered, throwing the ball back into play.

Once the snitch was far away from where he had released it, Noah stopped watching what happened around him and started to hunt for the snitch once more. Hopefully he would be able to catch it a couple of times.

Hope did her best to try and find that golden snitch, but it was a mean thing. But than she heard Noah saying he got it. Hope felt a bit sad, but was glad for him too. Now she needed to catch it. '' Good job Noah.'' She than said with a small smile and continued her search. She would not give up hope.

Loosening his shoulders up a bit, glad that Isaak didn't seemed too mad about having nailed him with a bludger, AJ looped the pitch, making a swoop at the other bludger as it zipped past. It was moving faster than he thought though and AJ whiffed, nearly swinging himself off his broom when the bat didn't connect. Laughing uncomfortably at the miss, AJ straightened back, moving in pursuit of the bludger again.

Isaak smiled as Haines scored. Once the quaffle was sent back out, Isaak caught it and flew out toward the middle of the pitch, so he can circle back around and try to score.

He had been flying in circles around the pitch for the last few minutes but did not manage to spot the tiny golden ball once. Rather than to continue to look for it himself, Noah decided to watch Hope fly around the pitch for now. If she would spot it he could simply follow her instead.

Eli knew practice was important, but he definitely didn't feel like spending time with his teammates. He had an alternate position, but that didn't mean he wasn't important when they had a match, so he knew he had to come. He listened to the captain as he started the practice, a little annoyed at being told what to do. He would much rather hit players rather than protecting them, and it seemed like Ari was feeling the opposite way. Feeling a little annoyed, Eli took to the air and followed Noah around. The kid was annoying, but he knew he had to probably protect a seeker more than anything. Eli jumped a little as Noah suddenly came to a halt, nearly crashing into him. He had been ready to curse at him, but then spotted that he had the snitch. Well, that was fast. He then spotted that the weird boy who was their chaser had managed to score, which he liked because Adam could honestly do with a bit of losing. It was just his luck that half his year seemed t be on the team. Eli spotted a bludger nearby, and hit it out of the way of a one of the players.

Hope was thankfully not that easily irritated but she looked around her and noticing Noah looking at her. She had to find the snitch, and flew into the direction of the keeper to try and search there for a moment. But no sight yet. Hopefully she would catch it soon so that they were even.

Adam's eyes were on the team captain as he took the quaffle and went for his lap. He wasn't about to miss a shot from their captain if he was going to show everyone how flawlessly good he was. He could laugh off the second year's success as him going easy on some kid. He couldn't do the same for a seventh year. He gripped his broom and hovered between the hoops, keeping an eye out for whichever one the guy was leaning most toward.

AJ was so busy on keeping an eye on the bludgers he was almost entirely blind to what the rest of the team was doing. Not able to keep pace with one Eli had hit as it streaked past, AJ took a moment to catch his breath, watching the chasers and seekers zip about for a bit before twirling his bat with some renewed focus.

Isaak soared down toward the goals, looking for an opening. He swerved around a bludger, and looked to see what the other chasers were doing. He just hoped that he wouldn't get hit again by the beaters.

He didn't like that the snitch was nowhere to be found, it almost seemed as if it had a mind of its own and did not want to be caught again. Deciding that it was time for him to fly laps around the pitch again since Hope wasn't having any luck either, Noah hoped that he would spot it again soon.

Hope didn't saw the golden snitch here as well, so continued her search. Hopefully somewhere else she would have luck. Still she was glad no bludger had hit her yet.
