Eva knew she couldn't have lost it. It would be embarrassing if anyone read it. Eva rarely lost anything, especially precious things like her secret diary. That was what she was looking for. She'd searched for it in the dorms, but no one had seen it. If someone saw it and took it to read out of curiosity, Eva would hex them. Literally. No one ever saw that, she doubted even her brother knew she had one. It was personal and she didn't like others finding out about her personal life. She even forgot why she had one in the first place.
Knowing that it was useless looking in the dorms, Eva decided to look around the castle, maybe ask around. She was hoping she'd just misplaced it - because she never lost anything and she wasn't used to the feeling of missing something. The one time she was searching for it she couldn't find it. It was just her pure luck. Eva was going to try every level. So far though, nothing. She'd checked the first floor and now she was walking along the second floor corridor, peering in every corner and sighing every time she couldn't see the familiar outline of her diary.
She passed a classroom, and when she had second thoughts about it she looked left and right, not spotting anyone watching her and unlocked the door with her wand before opening the door and slipping inside. Maybe she'd left it in this classroom, she'd come here once or twice before when she wanted some alone time. Still, Eva was without the small book and she cursed under her breath. Where on earth could it possibly have disappeared to?
