Eoghan hadn't ever considered himself to be someone who attended gatherings let alone hosted them, but it seemed as though that would be his current responsibility. He'd requested the members of the school paper meet him in their writing space in the hopes of inspiring them, which would have been a far fetched task for the Ravenclaw at the best of times.

The fifth year stood at the front of one of the long tables, newspapers and cut outs of articles spread out along its length. He hadn't bothered with snacks or drinks, they had plenty of time to refresh themselves in the Great Hall once this meeting was over. Leaning with his hands on the edge of the table, he was trying to summon the courage from deep down somewhere to pull this off, as he waited for the members to join him. There was frankly a lot to talk about, and he was going to need their help if they were going to make this paper one of the best the school had seen.

Juniper had enjoyed her time at the Hogwarts Monthly way more than she'd ever expected to. Writing wasn't something she'd thought she might enjoy doing publicly but it had turned out to be fun. Walking into the meeting for the first semester the third year peeked her head in first, a little shy to fully go in. She noted that it was just Eoghan there for now, feeling like it was safer than if everyone was already gathered there. "Hi, is today the right day?" Juniper said as she approached the blonde nervously. Maybe she'd come on the wrong day instead of just early. Horror began creeping up from her stomach at the thought, what if that was the case? Oh that would be embarrassing!!!

Sofia wandered along the fifth floor corridor, carefully peeling the wrapper off a chocolate-chip muffin. Every now and then, when she came across a door, she gave it a shove to see if it would give. Most of them were locked. The ones that weren't contained very little to interest an eleven-year-old girl. Still, she was determined that one of them must lead to treasure, or failing that, something juicy she could gossip with her classmates about.

Ooh. This one was open - and occupied. Nibbling on her muffin now, Sofia strolled in and took a chair. She knew that the way to get away with anything was to look like you were supposed to be there. If that didn't work, she had her age on her side. Had she wandered into the wrong room by mistake? Oh, I'm really sorry about that... etcetera, etcetera.

Salem was in a world of her own as she walked towards the Hogwarts Monthly's room. She'd seen the flyer about the meeting but she had no idea what it'd be about. With her earbuds in the first year had made her way through the castle as some music played from her record player. It was her favourite thing ever, okay well maybe after her wand but it was a close second.

As the girl walked in she noted there were a few people already there, one being the girl she'd met at the train. Settling somewhere near the Hufflepuff Salem lowered the volume of her music and took one bud out. That way she could hear what was being said but still have her music there too.

Sybil rushed up the stairs to the Hogwarts Monthly room. She really didn't want to be late. She was going to do better this year, she had to. She fought to catch her breath as she made it to the fifth floor, why did the dungeons have to be so far from everything?! She straightened out her uniform before walking inside and greeting their editor. She was surprised that a few younger students had beaten her but she waved at them too. "Oh hello!" she said brightly before turning to Eoghan. "Hi Eoghan! How was your break? Congrats on the prefect badge. We're you as surprised as I was?" she asked but waved the thought away immediately. "Of course not. It's not a surprise at all. You totally deserve it." she said in a rush. @Eoghan Blyth
