Firstly, I hope you have fun here
Secondly, to become a Gryffindor, you will have to wait until sorting opens again. It opens in real time, 16th of may . If you don't want to wait, you could always check out this forum: http://hogwartsnewzealand.com/forum/39766/ to see any jobs available for your character.
Thirdly, You will also have to request a name change, because you must have a surname too. Go here: http://hogwartsnewzealand.com/home/?c=20 To request a name change. (I don't know whether that link will work for you, but if it doesn't then simply go to preferences, and then 'change username' from the list of options)
But mainly, this site is about having fun!
You can always contact an admin if you have any questions!
