Happy Valentines: Suddenly, Lycanthropy!

I'll change my vote to Eden.
I don't particularly like the fuss she's put up and don't want to see two players die in the first day phase. It's likely they're both villagers (it is the first round and nobody has anything to go on), so I'd rather see one go than two.

And, fair warning, I'm suspicious of anybody who tries to make it a tie between two players while lynching knowing that a tie causes both to die (especially if, when we find out what they were, they turn out to be innocent). It doesn't make sense for anybody but people working against the village to try to maximize death during the day phase unless we have solid information to work with.

The villagers pushed Eden to the noose, while she screamed and cried. "How could you?" she yelled, glaring at the villagers who seemed so hell bent on her demise. "I'm innocent, I tell you, innocent!"

"Eh, we might as well kill you anyway," the villagers said with a shrug. Eden could cry and proclaim her innocence all she wanted, her fate was sealed.

It was a shame really, because Eden was killed! She was a harmless villager!

Looks like she was right after all.

Meanwhile, Kaitlyn stopped her horse, having finished her driving for the night. Dismounting, she raised a hand to her horse's mane, rewarding it with affection for a job well done.

Pity that smile that she gave her horse would be her last. Before she knew it, she was rounded on by the three wolves. She didn't even have a chance to scream before they devoured her. And her horse, too.

Kaitlyn has been killed! She was the Carriage Driver!

Nick walked hand in hand with Donna, gazing at his lover affectionately. He didn't know how long he'd been in love with her, but something had hit him, like an arrow, and he'd realised just how deeply he cared about Donna. Heck, if all went well, they'd elope and leave this small village and all the werewolf drama.

Something else hit him, squarely in the head this time. Only it wasn't like an arrow this time, it was an arrow.

The hunter drew back their bow, disappearing in to the shadows. And Nick fell down, his hands reaching out to hold his lover's one last time.

Nick was killed! He was the Guardian!

Donna screamed, holding her head in her hands. Why, she'd only just realised that Nick was the man she wanted to spend her life with, but now he was being ripped away so cruelly? She wouldn't have it. She could not go on without Nick, and indeed, she would not.

Donna has died! She was a villager!

It is now day! Dayphase lasts for 24 hours (although it may run a little late cause I'm going to the cricket tomorrow night, truly in character for me).

well my first thought would be that who kaitlyn voted for however she voted Eden who was already dead so my thought would be someone who either kaitlyn doesn't get along well with or someone who didn't want eden to die first again.

for option one i am thinking Zach who also conveniently slipped under the radar day one. and he admitted that he would have voted for kaitlyn.

from option 2 it would be Mel, Kait and eden-though-she-was-lynched.

for now i will vote for Zach. even though he appeared stupid for posting during day. it may be a ploy and he did slip neatly under the radar yesterday.
 
I just felt bed for Eden getting killed first and didn't want to incur the wrath of Kaitlyn because her characters are scary :cry: Also, I was confused about something and thought one of them could be saved if there was a tie. I was wrong.

I can assure you I'm not a wolf, and that I can help. I think we need to discuss different theories before throwing votes around willy nilly. That's how the wolves win. We're down to eleven of us.

I'd also like to point out that Nick wasn't killed by a wolf, but by the Hunter. I'm not the hunter either, but the hunter can be a powerful ally, as it says in the character description.
 
I vote to lynch Kate II.

My vote is still purely chosen at random. There still really isn't much to go on. Only one person was actually killed by the wolf. The other two was the work of the Hunter and them being lovers, and since the one person Kaitlyn voted for was lynched and found to be innocent, we have no leads there either. Zach did jump the gun last, but I don't think someone would be that stupid as to throw themselves under the bus like that.

I cast my vote for Marga because she has been keeping a low profile but I've seen her viewing this so often (because I constantly check the online viewer's list) and it seems that the trick is working because no one has voted for her yet.

I'm voting for Mia because I think it was really suspicious how she didn't mention Nick or Donna being killed in her post. The only reason I could think of for this is that she is the hunter and so didn't want to draw attention to those killings.
And me don't want another innocent villager killed or someone as good as the guardian :cry: 3 kills in one night... that's not good :erm:

And I'm thinking that Zach possibly killed off Kaitlyn, but there is so little evidence behind that, so I'm going with Mia who is the role I think I can most accurately guess.
 
I guess I'll vote for Payal because firstly, I still have no idea, and secondly I think it's kind of suspicious to check who's online looking at this all time... I don't know, it just makes me feel weird :erm:
 
I'm going to vote to lynch Payal. Again this is random as there still isn't much to go on. I got my friend to look at the list and she picked 18.
 
Ok. I'm not exactly decided on who I am voting for, but I'd like to point have a discussion before I vote.

I'm leaning towards going with Kait and voting to lynch Amy because I did think it was suspicious for her to switch her vote. It would only have made sense for her to not want Eden gone if she thought Eden was working with her in some capacity, either as one of the werewolves or one of the other roles that sort of assist werewolves. She was obviously wrong though and I think she is trying to save herself today by now claiming that her role in the game can 'help' us.

If Zach is a wolf, that was genius of him to post at night because now people think he was just being silly even though the person he was interested in lynching is now gone. :r

I'll tentatively vote to lynch Amy but I might change my mind if I read a convincing argument for someone else.
 
I'm not exactly decided on who I'm going to vote for either, so I'm tossing up between the two people who did not vote at all last round... Zach and Kelsey Ruth.

Since Zach did post, (though it was at night time,) I'm not voting for him, yet, but I do think it was suspicious. However, since Kelsey Ruth has not voted at all, or posted yet, I think that she is trying to fly under the radar.

So for now, my vote is Kelsey Ruth.
 
I didn't switch my vote at all. I'm willing to reveal my role to save myself if you guys really want. I also think its a bit suspicious that even though Payal voted for Marga, and Marga was on viewing this after Payal voted for her, she didn't say a thing in her own defense.
 
Amy didn't switch her vote. she did only vote once for nick though the way it as worded did sound suspicious and like she was changing her vote. and her posts today do sound suspicious.

Kate 1. I am not the hunter, though i am curious why you want to kill off the the hunter when you do have suspicions as to who a wolf is, the hunter can be an ally when there does become some more evidence. and i believe the kill last night was coincidence it was the lovers and not they know they don't HAVE to make a kill it does to me seem odd that you want to specifically kill an ally. and i didn't mention them in my post as we aren't hunting the hunter we are hunting wolves. so i will be keeping an eye on you

I hadn't noticed KR hadnt been on, as she was the bottom of my list so easy to miss unlike zach being a gap. however if you check the profile for her accounts she doesn't seem to have been online since the 11th Feb. and hasn't been on the account that was signed up since the 4th so it is unlikely she even knows what her roll is.

I don't think its odd to constantly check the active users list, it is useful as a tool to see who is replying to your topics, and generally where everyone is and how long ago it is since they were moving.

I am thinking that i may be wrong to vote zach, though i am keeping my vote as it is until i decide who i think is most likely to be a wolf or day ends.

I have just thought of another way to look at this evidence. we know who the lovers are right. do we know anyone who particularly liked Nick and Donna (or Kick and Ava maybe) together? then we may be able to suspect them as cupid and if we are right then we will have one less person to think of being the wolf, though we will have to be careful with assumptions it may be worth bearing in mind. as often the lovers are people the cupid likes together either as their IC accounts or as a OOC joke.
 
I have had my suspicions about Amy, something I can't put my finger on but because I have nothing else to go on and there really is nothing else to go on at the moment because its far too early in the game.

So I vote to lynch Amy because it's my gut instinct and that's all I got
 
there is a way we can test if you are telling the truth.
if you are the jailer then you can jail yourself and be protected from attack.
you ask the hunter to kill you then you jail yourself. if no one guards you or switches you (witch they cant as kaitylyn is already gone) there are two outcomes you are alive at the end of the night then you are the jailer (or the hunter didnt do their part of the plan), if you are dead then you are not, you are lying and we will find out who you really are. just make sure you are not being guarded by the guardian. and that the hunter (who should try and keep anaonyminaty) agrees to join the plan
if you agree to it then we can we will have to make sure you aren't lynched today. either by making a three way or more tie or by lynching someone else.
N.B. If she is a wolf claiming a different roll then this plan won't be protecting her as if she is a wolf she will be killed before the night is over.
 
Mia, I think the Guardian was already killed. So that won't be the problem.

Also, I think she'll be lynched off before she gets the chance to put herself in Jail. I could be wrong on this however.

Amy has three votes, Payal 2 and Marga Zach, Kesley Ruth and Kate 2 have one each so it isn't definite and one change of vote can make it a three way tie meaning no one is killed. and I have seen bigger changes in opinion in other games
 
I'd be more than willing to go with Mia's plan. I'm telling the truth so I have nothing to loose by it.
Alright, well, I need to go to sleep because I have work in the morning. Looks like I'll probably die. Hope you all change your minds, I am telling the truth, but if you don't, good luck with finding the wolves. I will be in shouty saying I told you so :p

I change my vote to Mia.

Why would she want the jailer to put themself in jail, when they could be protecting someone and the hunter to waste his/her kill for the night, when they might be able to get a wolf, especially when the werewolves will still be killing? It just puts the villagers in even more danger, which is something that a wolf would want. I just find it suspicious. So I now vote to lynch Mia.
 
so by voting to me i guess you are saying that you shouldn't test to see if someone is innocent if there is a way to. and we should just lynch anyone who people have git instincts for or may be acting/wording things suspicious (even if it is their first game)
let me say one thing. I am always voted out by the village because i explain my thoughts out loud/on paper/on computer. and there is only one game that i was wrong (and that was because i saw the devil as a wolf)
