Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y50 S1

Vic flew up to Teddy, who was right there in his spot ‘cause y’know, he’s a keeper, and somehow managed to get the quaffle past him. That felt like a win.

Felix didn't feel like he had a win.

Teddy twisted to see the quaffle sailing through the hoop. Normally he would have had that but Vic had exploited an opportunity and he was happy to see her doing well. "Good work" he said, retrieving the quaffle to throw back out.

Felix looked forward to the day that Teddy told him good work.

Aroha flew up into the skies. Somehow, she noticed the snitch immediately, flew into a dive and grasped the thing in her hands. Huh. Maybe whatever had made it elusive had worn off? She released it and did a lap around the pitch so she'd forget where she'd let it go.

So much for Next one's got your name on it. Felix did his best to smile in congratulations at Aroha, but it mostly just looked as though he was dealing with a bad burrito.

Teddy watched the snitch catch, "Woo, good work Aroha!" He called out as she lapped past him.

Felix gripped his hands tighter, pretending he was squeezing the snitch instead of his broomstick.

Ivy took back to the air. And grinned as Victoria managed to score. go vic she called before flying forward and catching the quaffle Teddy threw in.

Aroha enjoyed the praise, but was honestly a little concerned about Felix. She wanted him to get the satisfaction of catching the snitch too. It distracted her for a moment before she remembered to look out for the snitch again.

Aroha couldn't spot the snitch to begin with.

fiona did not hit a bludger

Aroha thought she saw something but nope, nothing.

Perhaps if he stopped looking for the snitch, it would find him.

Aroha still couldn't spot the snitch and to be honest she was trying a little less harder than usual. She didn't want Felix to know that though, so she was doing her best to make it look like she was still trying hard.

So far no good.

Teddy was so glad he didn't play seeker

Felix glanced around the pitch, not looking the snitch in the eye in case he scared it off.

Ivy continued down the pitch. Looking g at what was going on. It seemed like the seekers weren’t having much luck. She wondered what it would be like to have a go playing seeker. She was far too committed to chaser now. But She would have to ask willow over Christmas and maybe have a fly with one of her training snitches. Or maybe have a practice out here on her own.

Teddy looked around for the snitch on the off chance that he might be able to spot it on Felix's behalf.

fiona grew frustrated as she hadn't been able to hit a bludger in a while

Ivy was still thinking about seeking as she approached rose’s goal. But it was okay. The hoops were a long way off. At least they were until they weren’t. She suddenly didn’t have time to plan. She lobbed the ball at the ring. And missed.

Felix's roleplayer squealed upon seeing the word successful. The fourth year had purposely been trying to not focus on the snitch too hard and as hoped, the snitch had come to him. Felix wrapped his fingers around the tiny ball, glad that he'd finally be able to capture something so elusive. He grinned to Teddy, awaiting his praise.

Victoria had been following, or trying to follow since she wasn't as quick, Ivy. She watched the older chaser make her shot and caught the quaffle when it was thrown back out.
