Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y50 S1

Aroha continued to keep an eye out, moving about the field, searching high and low.

William tried to hit Aroha with a bludger to distract her from the snitch, but instead he hit @Felix Layton...again but at least he still hit a seeker.

Aroha was glad she wasn't getting hit by bludgers. It was nice. However, she also wasn't seeing the snitch. That wasn't so nice.

[4 hour rule]

Ivy looked around as the ball was thrown in but didn’t see any of the other chasers nearby so she caught the ball and started her way up the pitch towards roses rings.

Felix was having enough trouble without William smacking every bludger at him too. "Isn't it your job to protect me?" he grimaced through watering eyes, moving far to the other side of the pitch.

Aroha didn't spot the snitch, nor catch it.

fiona decided to practice some blocking on bludgers, she had seen a bludger coming for aroha's way and hit the bludger, not looking where she was aiming at had hit a chaser instead, oops

@Ivy Cullen

Ivy flew towards the south hoops
ring a ring of roses
bludger hit her tosies
aiming the quaffle
it dont go through.

Apparently moving across the field had been the luck he needed, because Felix immediately caught the snitch.

Felix let the snitch go, giving it a head start and everything. Didn't stop him catching it again though. Maybe it did have his name on it.

Aroha was a bit irritated that Felix had managed to catch the snitch twice. Once, sure, she was happy for him. But twice activated that deep-seated competitive streak in her. She maybe had the luck initially, but she'd lost it now, even with keeping an eye on it when Felix released it both times.

Aroha still couldn't spot the snitch, sadly for her.

After releasing the snitch again, Fifi thought he'd give Aroha a chance to catch up. She'd been kind to him when she didn't need to be

Still no dice for Aroha.

Felix saw the snitch, but looked in the opposite direction.

Felix's luck appeared to have changed and Teddy was happy for him. Meanwhile he threw the quaffle back out for the chasers.

Aroha, who thought maybe Felix had seen the snitch, completely missed spotting it by following his gaze.

4 hour rule

Ivy was a little confused as to why Teddy threw the ball out from roses hoops. They must have swapped during the time out. She didn’t see any of the chasers near by so she took the quaffle and started back up the pitch.

Aroha finally checked the other way, spotting the snitch and zoomed in towards it. She seized it in her hand. Finally, she thought to herself.

Ivy continued up the pitch towards the goal before lining herself up with a goal and shooting. She let out a whoop as the ball went through.

Teddy missed the save and decided to end training there. He blew his whistle loudly, "Alright guys, great training session. You've all worked hard. Same time tomorrow!" He said, calling an end to their practice.

OOCOut of Character:
I'll be closing this training very soon if you want to get any last minute actions in.

Aroha had one last go at getting the snitch but it didn't work out. Drat. She flew down to the ground and went to the changing rooms.

William didn't hit anything.
