Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y50 S1

Teddy kept a positive attitude, at least he had saved a few quaffles. He threw the quaffle back out to play after Miles missed.

Felix sped up, catching back up to the snitch, determined to catch it at least once before practice was over.

Rose kept company with her hoops, she didn’t mind missing some of the goals when it was her own team because they were good and she’d never been in a proper game yet, but she knew she was good, and she was determined to take over for Teddy next year.

Aroha followed along Felix, seeing he'd gotten sight of the snitch. She didn't immediately notice the bludger going towards him.

Felix wasn't appreciating the number of bludgers coming his way. It wasn't Will's fault, he was only practising, but it would have been nice if one of his best friends tried to protect him instead. At least he wasn't spinning this time, but the fourth year was growing increasingly frustrated

fiona managed to hit a bludger, aiming it towards the younger seeker, but it went off course and hit the younger keeper instead… @Rose Edogawa

Aroha kept in pursuit, but she was starting to really get tired of not catching the snitch. Had her practice during the holiday break been for nothing? She thought she was better than this.

fiona sighed as she did not hit a bludger

Aroha tried to swipe at the snitch, but once again she didn't quite get it.

William didn't hit anything.

Aroha still wasn't having any luck. She almost wanted Felix to get it so it could be proven this snitch was catchable. Almost.

At least Aroha was in the same boat.

Nope, Aroha did not get her hand close enough to even touch the surface of the snitch.

It wasn't as though they couldn't see the snitch, only that it kept moving out of their way. Why was that? Why was it suddenly acting as though it had had 8 cups of coffee that morning and now it was uncatchable?

Aroha really couldn't believe it. This long and neither seeker had caught the snitch? Forget about Teddy, Aroha was going to be fuming soon. She was keeping her cool for now though.

Felix was going to teach the snitch a lesson if he ever got his hands on it.

At this point Felix was starting to assume he'd never catch the snitch.

Teddy hoped he remembered to release the snitch at the start of practice.

Felix was beginning to feel like they may as well give up trying to catch the snitch. It clearly wasn't happening today.
