Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y46/S1

Milo was intent to shake off this funk. He was going to be the team's star seeker, he just needed to get back to thinking like one! Rubbing ruefully at where the bludger hit, Milo kicked his broom to move faster, but not before checking over his shoulder for any more bludgers.

Santiago looked for another bludger to hit.

Rāwhiti kept his eyes on his teammates as they played on, pleased to see everyone working together so well and making such great progress. Now he just had to get another catch under his belt as quickly as possible.

Spotting Raawhiti, Milo flew in close, eyes peeled for anything in Raawhiti's line of sight. Not to mention it'd make them a harder target for beaters. He made sure to catch the captain's eye, miming zipping his lips pointedly.

Rāwhiti had to push back the annoyance that threatened to show on his face as Milo flew closer, and failed not to roll his eyes as the boy mimed zipping his lips. At least he had been keeping quiet. Still, Rāwhiti didn't want the distraction of Milo on his tail, peeling away from the younger boy and flying higher as he continued the search.

Milo had no intention of letting Raawhiti get away that easily, speeding up to catch him and trying to stick to their captain like glue. It was for the good of them both really, a perfectly plausible strategy another seeker could use in a game. That it probably bugged Raawhiti too was just a bonus.

Josh continued to hang back a little, wanting the other chasers to have a turn.

Aurora didn't manage to hit anything.

Rāwhiti's frustration bubbled up as Milo stuck to his tail and he started flying in sharp, abrupt zigzags, trying to shake the younger seeker.

Fraser flew forward and grabbed the quaffle, as it appeared Joshua was letting others had a go. Something he wouldn't turn down.

Rāwhiti kept up the winding path, hoping to either shake Milo or put him through his paces for a bit.

Josh quickly followed the younger chaser as had possession of the quaffle

Rāwhiti thought he caught a glimmer of gold in all his zigzagging, but once he had pulled around to face it again, it was gone.

Aurora managed to hit another bludger and sent it straight to one of the other seekers.

@Milo Frogg

Fraser completely missed the hoops when he attempted to score.

Milo shot after Raawhiti, struggling to keep up with the other seeker as he pulled tighter turns than Milo had ever practiced. He was hampered further when another bludger careened into him, nearly causing him to flip over the front of his broom and forcing him to a dead stop to catch his breath. "Gimme a break!" he whined. If Raawhiti caught the sntich after losing him, Milo was going to be pissed.

Santiago looked for another bludger to hit.

Milo dashed his stream eyes, the only thing worse than losing track of Raawhiti or the snitch would be being spotted crying right after. His body ached, but he could still pull this off, maybe. Probably. He knew all the seeker theory afterall. He just needed to stop getting hit by bludgers and pull it off.

Miro was so focused on looking for another bludger to hit, he didn't notice the one flying directly towards him. The impact in his side caused him to gasp in pain as he began to spin off course. He felt tears well in his eyes but he tried to blink them back and focus again, moving to correct his flying and try and ignore the pain he was feeling.

Arms still quaking some after the bludger hits, Milo's face set in determination and he shot ahead of Raawhiti, head turning for a glimpse of the snitch.

Josh grabbed the quaffle once it was thrown back onto the pitch and headed towards the hoops

After a few minutes of flying Miro regained his bearings, ignoring the pain in his side as he spotted another bludger and sped up in an attempt to hit it. His attempt failed and he missed.

Veronica was glad to see the chasers were struggling when shooting at her hoops. Once another of them missed she picked up the quaffle and threw it back into play.

Rāwhiti never liked it when his teammates got hit by bludgers, but he did feel a petty little spike of joy when Milo took a hit, enabling him to pull further away. With his tail shaken, Rāwhiti returned to the search.

Josh grabbed the quaffle when it was thrown back onto the pitch and headed towards the other hoops.
