Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y45/S1

Sen tried her hand at scoring but missed again.

Teddy was so focused on looking for the snitch that he didn't see the bludger coming straight at him. The bludger slammed into his arm. Teddy clenched his teeth in pain but managed to maintain his grip on the broomstick.

Josh playfully rolled is eyes at Senna’s comment before following her when she had a quaffle a couple of times. After her couple of shots with the quaffle, Josh got a hold of the quaffle before circling around towards the hoops.

Rāwhiti grinned when Teddy caught the snitch, fighting down a flush of jealousy. He well and truly knew how Elara had felt during his first practice now. "Ka pai!" he called out to Teddy, trying to stay professional even though he now burned with a jealous need to catch up in scores.

Aurora did not hit anything.

Teddy was hurting from his recent bludger hit, plus the additional two extra hits earlier. He forced out a smile back to Rāwhiti, "Thanks, mate!" he called back.

When Josh was close enough to the hoops, and finally managed to get the quaffle into the hoop!

Bas wanted to celebrate with the chaser who scored but instead flew as fast as he could to scoop the quaffle up and go towards the hoops to try to get a score of his own.

Rāwhiti kept up the search for the snitch, eyes scanning the pitch for anything shiny.

Santiago searched for another bludger.

As he flew on, a golden flutter caught Rāwhiti's eye. He pressed close to his broom and shot forward, every ounce of his energy dedicated to tracking the snitch. He gained ground quickly, and after a few quick darts back and forth his fingers curled around the ball triumphantly. "Got it!" He called out, grinning before he released the snitch again. Back on his roll at last.

Bas got close to the hoops and shocking absolutely no one... he missed his shot.

Buzzing from his catch, Rāwhiti resumed his hunt for the snitch.

Evie was on a roll with blocking the shots until she missed one of Joshua's. She sighed, but then was able to save the next one. Smiling, she threw the quaffle back out into play.

Josh quickly got a hold of the quaffle as it was thrown back into the pitch, circling around the pitch towards the hoops.

Rāwhiti flew higher as he did his best to track down the snitch again.

Santiago swung and missed.

Rāwhiti caught sight of the snitch on the other side of the pitch and raced towards it, trying to catch up quickly.

When Josh was close enough to the hoops he threw the quaffle towards the hoops, but missed.

Rāwhiti kept flying towards the snitch, but as it zigged and zagged he lost sight of it again.

Rāwhiti flew higher, hoping to catch sight of the snitch again.

Rāwhiti's search was interrupted by the rushing sound of an incoming bludger and he swerved slightly, not quick enough to get out of the way entirely as the ball struck him hard on the thigh.

Teddy noticed Rāwhiti going for the snitch and followed in chase. Teddy unfortunately did not manage to catch the snitch either.
