Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y44 S1

Santiago missed his shot.

Rāwhiti stayed hopeful as he kept searching for the snitch.

Dahlia did a double-take when she saw a glint of gold but maybe it was someone's wristwatch. Why they'd be wearing a gold watch on the field, she didn't know, if that's even what it was and not just a hallucination.

Ruby stopped a bludger from hitting a teammate.

Zee felt like she had thrown Louis off. They rarely passed to each other. He had missed the goal. For a moment, Zee actually felt bad, at his embarrassment. "Next time." she said simply, attempting to be as nice as she could in the situation. She wasn't happy about it. But it happened, even to her.

Zee grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back into play. She headed towards the opposite goal post.

Louis was very embarrassed, but he grabbed the quaffle after Zephyrn scored.

Santiago swung again and hit a bludger. But his aim was off and he hit one of the captains instead. @Zephryn Spencer

Ruby swung and missed.

Aurora didn't hit anything.

Louis was determined to make up for his earlier failure. But when he tried his shot again, he was blocked again. He blushed, looking entirely caught off guard.

Rāwhiti kept up the search, flying higher again.

Dahlia pouted a little because the snitch was eluding her.

Rāwhiti caught sight of the snitch again, snapping into high speed as he shot after it, but between zigzags he lost track of the ball once again.

Ruby flew around trying to find a bludger to hit.

Dahlia tried not to get too disheartened or distracted but she wasn't doing a good job with either.

After letting the others go for a bit, Soren jumped in to grab the quaffle.

Aurora missed the bludger she was going for.

Soren made it back around, before making another attempt. He smiled widely as he made the goal.

Zee felt like she was getting the hang of observing the players and playing herself. Although she did feel like she might be taking the quaffle too much. She needed the practice too though. At least that was her justification, as she grabbed the quaffle after Soren scored and it was thrown back into play.

Soren swooped in when Zee scored, grabbing the quaffle and starting around again.

aurora did not hit anything.

Soren was missing more than he was scoring, but that didn't mean he was going to give up. He kept going, determined to be more involved this year.

Dahlia still didn't see the snitch but she kept looking.
