Gryffindor,Practice
While Isaiah had always enjoyed quidditch he'd be lying if he said his enjoyment of the sport hadn't grown ever so slightly since their win against Ravenclaw. He couldn't specifically remember when the last time was Gryffindor had been up for the cup, but he had looked into when they had lost won the cup. Year 32. Gryffindor had last won the cup about eleven years ago and he just knew this was going to be their year. The year to break whatever curse had been placed on their team. After all, if Slytherin could lose was it so bold to think that they could actually win?
The weather for practice was more than agreeable, almost as if the sun was smiling down on them. Even if it could get a little warm. Luckily, there was a pleasant breeze to accompany the warm rays of sunlight every now and then. Isaiah had arrived at the pitch early to make sure everything was ready before enjoying the sun for a minute as he waited for his team to arrive. "Sup guys!" He grinned at them when they had all gathered in front of him. "I don't want to say too much or jinx anything but I honestly believe we've got a shot at the cup this year. So if you weren't motivated before I sure hope you are now." Zay added before clapping his hands together, feeling like being a captain had definitely helped him become more mature. "Chasers, you'll be playing in teams. Zephryn and Louis versus Joshua and Soren. Don't be afraid to practice stealing that quaffle. We've only got one keeper though so make sure to at least take a lap around the pitch before heading for the hoops, give Genevieve a chance to breathe. Tim, Aurora, let's not hold back alright? Hufflepuff might have one relatively new beater but I doubt their captain will hold back during the game. Seekers, do your thing. Challenge each other when possible." He said, giving everyone a second to process before giving them a small nod. "All right, let's get to work."
