Gryffindor Quidditch Practice S1/Y48

Santiago saw a bludger and swung. This time he made contact but his aim was off and he ended up hitting the new keeper instead. @Rose Edogawa

Alicia grabbed the quaffle before the other 'team' could, then flew back a bit in the hopes of catching Rose off guard.

Rose couldn't dodge fast enough when she saw the bludger coming, but was able to guide it to her arm rather than her shoulder. She grunted when it hit her, but she was used to being hit with bludgers, so it didn't take her as long to shake it off. She turned to look at the offensive beater, but said nothing as she continued to keep her sights on her hoops.

Miro watched as Santiago managed to hit a bludger and cheered for his teammate, though he couldn't help but feel a bit annoyed he still couldn't spot a bludger to hit himself.

The break unfortunately meant Aroha had lost track of the snitch, but she was out looking for it almost immediately.

Miro still couldn't find a bludger to hit, but he continued to fly around in search of one.

Santiago managed to hit another bludger but it missed it's target.

Miro flew around the pitch, almost gasping when he actually spotted a bludger out of the corner of his eye. He sped up, reaching to hit it with his bat once he was in range and watched as it soared in the correct direction, moving to hit Aroha.

@Aroha Blenheim

Milo had let himself get distracted by the change up with the keepers, cursing himself when he realized what a headstart Aroha had on him. He tucked close to his broom, trying to get back into the chase and let out a little yip of success when Aroha took a bludger, hoping he could capitalize on it and sending Miro a happy wave over his shoulder.

Aroha flinched at the bludger hit. Ouch. They were starting to really hurt. She tried to recover, looking out for the snitch still and an eye on Milo in case he got there first.

Rose kept her eyes peeled, watching for any breaks in her own concentration to make sure she was keeps her hoops covered.

Milo would give Aroha credit, she was tough. It was nice to know he had decent back up for their upcoming game, not that he'd need he was sure.

Milo figured they had to be getting close to the end of practice, putting on another burst of speed. He needed to nab the snitch before Teddy or Fraser blew the whistle.

Aroha was determined to get the snitch again - and before both practice ended, or Milo got it. She saw him burst speed, wondering if he'd spotted the snitch. She couldn't see if anywhere near him though, and went in the opposite direction, hoping to find it there.

Miro couldn't find another bludger to hit and continued to fly around the pitch.

Teddy glanced at his watch and decided to call time on training. "Good work everyone! That's time!" Teddy felt unusually achy and wondered if the bludger hit he had taken earlier in the practice was to blame.

OOCOut of Character:
Thanks everyone! Training will close in a couple of hours if you want any last minute attempts
