Graduation 2036: Spectators and Guests
OOCOut of Character:
Here is the area for invited guests, staff, professors and prefects to post while at the graduation. Please be reminded that you are also invited to start separate RPs that take place after the graduation. :)

As usual, Preston found himself seated with the other prefects to watch another group of graduates. Next year, it would be him, a fact that both excited him and sent him into a nervous sweat. The teen had never really put much thought into life after Hogwarts, but he sure would be over this week. Right now, he was more concerned with saying good riddance to this year's Head Boy and Girl.

Scowling as the Head Girl took the stage, Preston listened to her speech. Rumors had been flying about the Head Girl recently, but Preston didn't care about her much so he hadn't paid careful attention. He still owed her for that bad breath chocolate that she'd sent over to the Brotherhood, though time was definitely almost out on doing that. As Raziel walked to the stage, Preston glanced over towards Sage, remembering that time they'd joked about Raziel's speech. He didn't seem to be carrying cue cards as Preston has suspected he might. Preston tried his best to stifle his chuckles once the Head Boy did speak. He had expected the guy's speech to be about that lame. "What a waste" Preston murmured to himself. He still wasn't over that prefect's meeting. At least he'd know the Head Boy next year. He was pretty sure Ty or Bryce would get it. They were the most well behaved male prefects in his year without a doubt.

Tybalt was sat in the great hall for another graduation ceremony, only this one unlike the last weighed heavily in his mind. This would be his year soon. This would soon be them, and well, Ty wasn't sure he was quite ready for it. He was sure that he'd do fine in his NEWTs, he was sure he would, but that wasn't what he was nervous about, he was just nervous about having to leave this school. It had become a part of him, and he wasn't sure how he'd be able to grow with out it. However, that being said, he was still excited for this, and he was excited to open a new chapter in his life very soon. Happily, Ty just looked around at the other prefects, smiling slightly, just as the hall finished filling up and the graduation ceremony got underway. He couldn't believe how fast this year had gone, or how distant the disastrous prefects meeting now was. He couldn't help but smile at the memory, what a strange way to have started the year, he was glad that was very much behind him. The head girl took to the stage, and the Gryffindor looked up at her, and smiled as she began talking. He nodded along with what she was saying, finding some truths. Then the head boy.

As much as Tybalt couldn't claim to know the head girl that well, he knew even less about the head boy. He was a quiet kid, who didn't seem to say anything at all. And that was really exemplified by the fact that he said practically nothing, Tybalt couldn't help but laugh slightly to himself. Sure the boy must be incredibly nervous and quiet, but, Ty had always been sure that the head boy was supposed to lead, he was to be a role model to the younger students. So maybe it would help if he could actually talk to people. Tybalt couldn't help but feel like he'd make a good head boy, Bryce seemed like the more obvious choice, but they had a lot in common, so the Gryffindor thought he might really be in with a chance. Ty smiled happily, applauding loudly for Taylor his co-captain and the Gryffindor Chaser who was leaving too. He was happy for them, and excited too, he would have one year left to achieve all he could.

Sage was sitting in her first graduation ceremony. She couldn't believe it. She hadn't liked the head boy or girl, but she'd happily send them out on their way. Be rid of them. Which was why she had decided to come. She wanted to see what the head boy did, because she didn't have high hopes for him in the slightest. She was still pretty annoyed about the whole prefects meeting thing, though not as annoyed as others might be, but she just really hated the head boy and girl. She couldn't believe that they'd managed to get to their positions. In her mind, it just didn't add up. It didn't make sense in the slightest. But, here they all were, graduation ceremony and those two were about to give speeches. She wished she'd actually made a bet about how many words the head boy would speak, because she was sure that it wouldn't be many at all. Happily the girl looked to the front of the room, as the graduation ceremony began. She didn't have high hopes for it, and was just looking forward to it soon being over, and those stupid seventh years being gone.

The head girl spoke, in Sage's mind for far too long, but as the head boy walked on to the stage, and Sage glanced over at Preston, and smiled before looking back. No cue cards. Maybe he'd just stand there in silence for a few minutes then walk off the stage. That was not far from what happened. He said a few words and that was it. Sage glanced around at the others, and shook her head. She couldn't believe he'd been head boy, he was useless. Completely useless. Maybe next year, things would be better. She didn't know who'd get it, but in her mind as long as it wasn't Sergei, she'd be happy.
