Jean was at a loss of what to do after Orwell and then Archie had banded together against the professors. He had no idea what they could actually accomplish, but he had immense respect for the two standing against the professors. As his sister arrived by his side, Jean was struck by the complete stupidity he'd shown all night. Not only had he, a prefect, joined in on this protest but he also hadn't even thought to send his sister away. It hadn't even crossed the boy's mind. What had was that Orwell and Archie were his friends and he wanted to support them in this. It wasn't like they were doing anything bad really. Sure, it was past curfew but there had been flyers everywhere and it wasn't like they were trying to hide or run. Jean could see the indecision on several of the other faces around him, and he gave his sister a look that was meant to reassure her as best he could without talking. Jean crossed his arms, not taking a step towards the professors but also not moving away from his friends. He glanced over to Professor Haden, the man charged with escorting the largest group, the Gryffindors, away. Professor Kingsley was going to be pissed at him more than the others, no doubt. He was the eldest in the group and should have known better.
