Orwell Kitchen Brocken had been building up to this day for a while, he had been planning and building and working, and he was just very much ready for it to happen. A weekend long camp out outside the forbidden forest, that was to last the entire weekend. It was the mid afternoon on the Friday in the week following the Halloween feast and Orwell had spent the last week preparing for this day, he had gathered all he would need to, the plants they would be planting at the edge of the forest, the placards which he had made, the blankets and the flag which sat usually at the end of his bed was hung proudly. The teen had been using his knowledge of building make shift shelters in the event of rain and had set up two bonfires that were just ready to be lit by magic, since that would be the quickest way of lighting them. He had used twigs and branches from the nearby trees which had fallen on to the ground to build up the bonfires and he had plenty more ready to burn if they needed it. While it was November and the weather was a little better, he knew the temperature would drop at night and everyone who might attend would be glad for the roaring fires.

Orwell had Archie helping him out, helping him set up the boxes of flowers so that the would be able to make flower crowns as the night went on. He had placards standing around their little area, with slogans like, Our Forest, Free the Forest, School ownership shouldn't make the forest forbidden, Making a Forest Forbidden stops no one, The right to roam is important. He had put up his flag between the two bonfires and had certain tree stumps and things set up as for people to sit, although he knew the ground was slightly more comfortable. The protest was not hidden, Orwell had made Archie help him pick the exact right spot for them to set up, in plain sight, for all to see them. Orwell knew he was asking a lot of people, they were going to break more than a couple of rules, and Orwell expected them to get into trouble, but his idea was to keep it as non-violent as possible. The teen stood back from his work and smiled at his best friend, "Right Archie, snacks, we need snacks and drinks," he told him, glancing at Archie's watch, soon people who wanted to join them would be arriving, and if they didn't then he and Archie would do this alone. Although Orwell had put signs up about the protest just about everywhere in the school.

As soon as Archie was off, it was dark enough to light the fires so with a small flourish of his wand at each, they both lit up. As Orwell began putting the finishing touches he couldn't help but feel proud of what he was doing, proud of his best friend for helping him and determined to get his and their point across.

OOCOut of Character:
Okay, right this is an event being held by the Wild Patch Club, but any person is free to join the protest, it is a non-violent protest where they'll be camping outside the forbidden forest for the weekend, planting things at the edge talking and eating marshmallows. Professors, please give this time to develop before stepping in preferably PM me before hand.

While my first post is quite long, short posts are to follow, and while you should write as much as you wish, they don't need to be long. Your character also doesn't have to stay for the entire time, they can come and go as they wish

Doriana hadn't joined the Wild Patch Club but when she found out about the protest that was going to take place at edge of the forbidden forest, she knew she had to join both the club and the event. She hoped that she would be accepted by the club's members. She wanted to fight for everyone's right to be free to visit the forest. Be close to nature should be encouraged, not prohibited so she had to take a stand with those who had this exceptional idea. Her backpack was stuffed with all the equipment needed for someone who was going to camp outdoors. She didn't know for how long they were going to stay out there so she had also her sleeping bag with her. Before leaving the castle, she visited first the kitchen. Befriending a particular elf had its own advantages. She felt kind of guilty for asking the elf's help now and then but this didn't happen before she had tried countless times to set it free. At least she had a new friend who could now help their cause.

After she was handed a basket full of muffins, fruits and most importantly, chocolate stuffed muffins by her elf friend Tolo, she marched for the forbidden forest. The bonfires were already lit. She could see them from far away. As she approached the scene, she couldn't believe the effort that was put so far into this protest. The placards, the plants for the reforestation, the shelters. She loved this so far. There weren't much people there yet but she was positive that this was going to have an appeal. She wasn't surprised to find Orwell there coordinating everything with another guy.
"Hey guys!" She greeted both of them. "I brought some food." She raised her basket with a smile. "In case we need anything else food-wise just let me know. I have a friend in the kitchens who's fully supporting this." She said and looked around at what was set up so far. "Do you want me to help with anything?" She asked as she dropped her backpack on the ground, rolling up her shirt's sleeves, ready to get down to work.

When Olivia heard about the protest that was being planned by a boy from her house she was immediately curious. She had not heard about the Wild Patch club during her first year but ever since news of the protest dropped it was all anyone seemed to talk about. As she learned more about the club the more disappointed she began that she was only now learning about it, it sounded like a club she would love to be a part of. As she made her way down through the castle and out onto the grounds she heard her sisters voice in her head, laughing at her for what she was about to do. She made her way over to the forbidden forest where the Wild Patch club were beginning to gather, Olivia went over to the two students who were there already and introduced herself. "Hi there, I'm Olivia I'm not in the club but I want to join the protest," She said smiling at the two.

Jean trudged down to the forest, his fists in his pockets as he walked. The teenager kicked at some twigs and rocks as he made his way down to the forest. He was feeling pretty conflicted about the whole thing. While he admired the Wild Patch Club's leader and his interest in fighting authority, as a prefect, Jean knew that he was part of that authority. He didn't know whether to join the protest or report it. In the end, his friendship with Archie and not wanting to be a rat sent him towards the forest. He figured he could at least help break up trouble if anyone decided to show up that wasn't there with the intentions of freeing the forest. With a nod to the leader, Jean moved to one of the fires and stood near it, staring at the flames.

Archie could hardly believe that the protest Orwell had been planning for weeks was finally happening. But it was needless to say how happy he was to see his best friend's visions and inspirations to fight the system becoming a reality. He was so proud of Brock. Proud that he had spent countless hours planning this weekend and ways to promote it, while equally proud of how determined they both were to ensure this protest was a sucess. Archie did not know how the weekend would pan out, though he did not let that falter his steps as he strolled alongside his best friend to the spot they allocated for the protest and began setting up. He was optimistic their efforts to fight the system would not be futile, and knew that if it wasn't this protest that influenced change, it would be the next protest, and if not the next protest, the protest after that. Orwell was a dedicated and smart person and Archie would be dammed if he didn't follow his best friend to the end in all his endeavors for equality.

He walked around the protest area with Orwell, setting up shelters and stacking wood they would burn in fires to keep warm. By the time the majority of the protest had been set up and all the signs were in place Archie had noticed the area's lack of snacks and sleeping bags. He smiled when Orwell mentioned snacks and drinks, liking that they were on the same wavelength. After Orwell glanced at the watch on his wrist, Archie turned and made his way back to the castle. Quickly running to his dorm and retrieving the party packs of gelatin-free marshmallows his mum had sent him earlier in the week, and a couple of sleeping bags for when the night grew old. Archie ran back to the protest with full arms, and a smile still on his face that only widened when he noticed the few students that had already shown up, two of which Archie knew from his quidditch team. He patted Orwell on the back as he walked past and dumped the sleeping bags and marshmallows he was carrying at a nearby shelter before he turned towards Jean, picking up one of the bags of marshmallows and ripping it open so he could offer it to his friend. Roasted marshmallows were the best and would definitely add more of a fun camping vibe that Archie hoped would make the protest more fun than it was already. "Want one?" He asked the other Gryffindor, choosing not to offer anything to Orwell yet in case he was busy chatting to the other protest goers.

It had definitely been on a whim that Lydia had decided she would go to the protest, part of her really hadn't wanted to, fearing the consequences of what might happen when they were inevitably stopped because the wild pitch club hadn't been subtle about what they were doing, and it made her a little bit nervous about what the outcome of this might be, but she was willing to at least give it a try, she liked making the flower crowns, and looking after the plants was definitely fun. She spotted the protest with ease, a little impressed with how it looked but it didn't ease her mind, instead she just glanced at the leader of the club and offered a small smile as she then glanced at who else was here, smiling a little at the other two members of the club and then sat down beside the two older Gryffindor's and then took one of the marshmallows from the bag, looking out at the fire and using one of the sticks so that she could roast the marshmallow. She had her bag down next to her with a few extra layers and was feeling pretty ready for it. Although a part of her mind couldn't actually believe that this was really something that was happening.

Tholomyes was pretty excited about this protest that he was attending, Theo had never been to a protest before and he was excited about what it might entail, he didn't know what they would really do, or what changes it might make, even if he didn't think it was really going to change anything, but he was feeling a little more confident about it. The halloween feast and the time he had spent with the girl Maddie had left him feeling a little happier about the school, and he was excited to take part in something a little different with his weekend. He saw the protest and walked over to where they were at the forest. He waved at the members that he knew and looked to the leader, "Hey Orwell, looks great!" he said as he took a seat around the other fire, grabbing one of the boxes of flowers and beginning to make a crown, though badly, even if they'd been doing this for a little while, but he was really struggling with it. He needed a lot of help with making these crowns and really everyone of the ones he had made were just all terrible, Theo had as long as this protest might last to get good at it.

Orwell was very pleased with how it was looking, he was making sure everything looked right when he was greeted by a voice, he had first thought it was Archie but the voice had be distinctly more female and when he glanced round at her and smiled happily at her, "Doriana! Welcome!" he said to her happily, then noticing the food that she was carrying and nodding slightly, "Thanks for bringing this, you'll have to introduce me to your friend, I really want to work more with the elves in the next semester, so at some point we should talk about the elves," he told her with a smile before then shrugging slightly, "I think it's pretty much all set up, once a certain amount of people are here, we'll start planting some of the stuff, and just kind of see how the time goes, you can make crowns or help make more placards," he glanced back at his work and then just smiled at her, glad that at least one other person had turned up, but then as soon as he thought that someone else turned up, this girl like Doriana wasn't a member of the club but Orwell had wanted this to be open to anyone willing to help fight with them on the cause of the forest, "Olivia, welcome! I'm Orwell, and you are more than welcome to join us, if you want to sign up to the club, there is a sign up form in the shelter there, but you don't need to sign up, solidarity in this protest is greatly appreciated," he pointed to one of the shelters that he had put together and then just smiled. He waved happily at Jean, and then smiled even more at Archie when he turned up. This was turning out pretty well, he was glad that some people had turned up, and then smiled at all the people arriving, "If you want to make flower crowns there are plenty of flowers, there are blank placards and paint and pens if you want to make other placards," he told the small group, knowing that they would be here for a little bit and he wanted them all to get as involved as they wanted. He was stood looking at the crowd waiting for hopefully more people to arrive.

"Hell yeah!" Jean replied enthusiastically as he grabbed a marshmallow. He glanced around, spotting the perfect stick and picked it up. As he spoke, the boy wiped the stick on his pants leg. "Decent sized crowd already. I bet the marshmallows will get you some more" he grinned as he impaled his treat and then a few others on the other branches. Turning back towards the fire, Jean leaned his stick towards the flames. "Do you have some chocolate over there?" he called out to the Gryffindor girl who'd come with food, his mouth already watering at the thought of how the two would taste together.

Emma Snow, dressed in a blue and white striped sweater and a pair of blue jeans, made her way to the Forbidden forest for a protect. She did not know what it was, but she thought that it would be a lot of fun! It was Friday, and thankfully, she did not have any homework today. She knew that being here would probably get her into a lot of trouble, but she was a Snow. Trouble was her middle name! She welcomed consequences, especially if she were caught by her older brother, Theodore Snow! It would be really fun. Emma noticed that there was boxes of flowers, so she scooped her hands around a box so that she could make a flower crown. They were absolutely lovely. She was about to find a seat when she noticed that a cute boy was having some trouble. She walked over and sat down right next to him. She was sure that he was a Ravenclaw. Getting a little too close for comfort, she smiled, "You need to move your fingers, like this, and need to tie like this. That's the key." Emma turned her bright, blue eyes toward him and they seemed to smile, just as she was smiling. She would make her own, but she wanted to help this boy first. "Emma, Emma Snow."

Doriana liked Orwell a lot. She actually looked up to the Ravenclaw for standing up for his beliefs. The same way he so bravely did back in the forest when they were caught by the professor. It would be great to introduce him to Tolo but at the sound of his fondness to work with the elves, she couldn't help but sigh deeply. "Good luck with that. They are sooo stubborn." She smiled weakly and drew a checkered tablecloth from her basket to lay on a stump. "From the moment you mention anything about their rights, you instantly get into their blacklist. I've put so many clothes for them to find around the kitchen and my dormitory but it seems that they have to be given by the headmistress to set them free." She explained, no shame in admitting she had actually tried to trick them to freedom when reasonable talk didn't work.

The girl quickly set neatly the food she had been provided on the covered stump when a fellow Gryffindor asked for chocolate treats. "Yup. Keely's moist chocolate muffins will blow your taste buds away. Here, catch!" She picked one and carefully tossed it towards him. He wouldn't have any problem catching it since they were doing this quite often with a quaffle during their quidditch practices. Doriana wasn't really hungry at the moment so she thought of engaging with something productive. Since the first years were doing a nice job with the flower crowns, she decided to focus on the placards. She grabbed a few of them and joined the others by the fire. She flourished her wand and started casting some flashing paint charms on the slogan's letters for some emphasis while it was dark. "So, what we do if a professor crashes the party?" She asked all of them surrounding the fire as she made the Free the forest! phrase flash in red against the white placard. She had no trouble to wriggle out in case something was going to turn terribly wrong but the point was for all of them to stand together.

Archie took the liberty of finding his own stick when Jean accepted his offer of marshmallows, choosing one that had the least amount of branches before bringing it closer to his face to inspect it for any dirt. He shrugged, quickly giving up and stacking as many marshmallows as he could on the stick, his marshmallow craving taking over and causing him not to care if the stick had been dirty in the first place. "Oooh, chocolate." He said, clearly agreeing with Jean that chocolate would have made the roasted marshmallows even more delicious. It was slightly disappointing to see that Doriana had brought chocolate muffins instead of blocks of chocolate they could melt along with the roasted marshmallows, however he knew anything chocolatey would still have tasted amazing. Archie impatiently held his stick directly into the flames, wanting to cook the marshmallows quicker though all he managed to do was set them on fire. He gasped loudly and pulled the stick out of the fire, blowing on the now burnt marshmallows to extinguish the small flames. "These ones are extra crispy." He joked, pulling off the marshmallow that was closest to the end of the stick and popping it into his mouth. Weirdly enjoying the burnt taste mixed in with the gooeyness.

Tholomyes had been ultimately failing to make this flower crown, and it wasn't even his first botched attempt, it was just the attempt towards contributing to this club which he was hoping to do, but it was pointless. He was pointless when it came to this. He felt like giving up, like that was the only good that this could do, that he should just sit in silence during this protest or at the very least go ahead and just grab a placard to make, he could work on some peace of art that was far more his speed, however his move towards that was stopped when someone sat very close to him, and for a moment of startled-ness and then he managed to focus on the girl who had entered his space and vision and had already begun speaking, he followed along with what was being said, and glanced at his own hands, attempting to focus on the instructions and then attempted to mimic it, though it didn't seem to work, he glanced up at her, as she looked at him, he met her eyes and found a smile forming on his lips, her smile was almost infectious to him, he wanted to frown and be negative, but her smile caused him to smile and somehow feel less hopeless about the flower crown making, she introduced herself as Emma, and he couldn't help but think the name really suited her, "Tholomyès Fontaine, but Théo is easier," he introduced to her, "I don't think I've got it yet, can you show me? I'm usually pretty good at art related stuff, but I can't seem to do this," he asked her, thinking he might be able to get it better if he could see her doing that. He wasn't even paying attention to the others at this protest, his focus was almost entirely on Emma.

Orwell nodded at Doriana as she explained that they were all somewhat resistant to the idea of talking about rights, that didn't particularly make Orwell want to not to do what he wanted, "I wasn't particularly thinking about leaving them clothes, since they don't want that, but I would really love to talk to them about getting paid for their work, improved conditions and a method for which they can report abuse they might suffer from the hands of students," he told her, though he was certainly considering her point about being blacklisted and realising it wouldn't be as straight forward as this had been a little bit of preparing and that had been all, he hadn't gotten permission for this, but he wasn't expecting it, and he just went a head with it regardless. There was therefore a very large likelihood that they would get caught and Orwell made his way over to the crowd of slightly older students who were roasting marshmallows and instead of interrupting the two younger students of the club, he smiled at them, just arriving in time to hear Doriana ask what they might do if the professors caught him. He smiled at them as he got a marshmallow on to a stick and then placed it over the fire, "If we get busted, just let me do the talking, I'm in charge of this club I organised this, I'll see if I can also take the fall," he told them with a nod of his head, he didn't want everyone to get into trouble with this if he could try to avoid it.

Jean laughed when Archie managed to set his marshmallow on fire. His were browning nicely, and he waited a moment more before taking them away from the fire. Summoning the muffins to his side, Jean figured he'd give it a try. Chocolate was chocolate and he really wanted to enjoy the two sweets mixed. Taking a bite of the muffin, Jean stuffed a hot marshmallow into his mouth. His tastebuds exploded with flavor. "Archie. Duuuuuude. You have to try it" he explained as he tried to shove a muffin into the guy's hand. His mouth was still half full as he glanced around at the other participants. "Emma? Do you want one?" he shouted over to his sister, hoping she'd say no. He wanted it for himself.

Lydia didn't know anyone here really, or well, she knew them, but no one well enough to really be able to speak with them individually, Lydia did lack friends but she was happy to sit and eat and enjoy the company and their message, she thought it was pretty cool what they were doing and Lydia was incredibly impressed with how well it was going. Night might be very quickly closing in around them but she definitely wasn't regretting her choice, she was looking forward to what this night would bring, and she couldn't help but feel a little nervous about the prospect of getting into trouble for it. She looked at the leader of the club as he explained what to do in the eventuality that they got caught. He wasn't sure what else he could do about it, but he was looking forward to it. The teen picked up another marshmallow and began toasting it. She was thoroughly enjoying this, and it really made her glad that she'd opted to get involved with the clubs and more than just the quidditch one.

Archie reluctantly accepted the muffin Jean had shoved in his hand, not knowing how he'd juggle switching between eating the marshmallows and biting the muffin. Regardless, his hands were now full and in order to free one of his hands to continue eating his marshmallows he would needed to eat the muffin first. He brought the muffin to his lips and took the biggest bite he could manage with the burnt marshmallow still in his mouth and smiled immediately at the mixed taste. "You're right, Jean." He said, not caring he was speaking with his mouth open. "This is sooooo good." He sat himself on a conveniently placed blanket and alternated between eating the chocolate muffin and attempting to eat more of the burnt marshmallows from his stick. A task he quickly began to realize was impossible so he called out to Orwell for help. "Brock, get over here! You gotta take my marshmallows. I'm about to drop them." He handed Orwell the stick of marshmallows when he appeared by his side, and pulled his best friend down to sit on the ground next to him. "They're yummy, and gelatin free, by the way." He added as he gave Brock a wink. He then turned his attention to Jean and smiled, thinking he should invite the other gryffindor to join them on the ground. That way they could all be closer to the bags of marshmallows and wouldn't need to stretch too far when reaching for more. "Wanna join us?" He queried, gently patting the ground next to him. His mind should have been focused on the protest but he was instead focused on eating and cultivating the delicious tastes in his mouth.

Emma smiled toward the Ravenclaw male. She was glad that he was not repulsed by her sitting here next to him. Practically in his personal space. She looked down at his hands to see that he tried to get her words to work, but it did not seem to work for him. Her smile faltered for a moment, before she heard his name. It was complicated, but he had a nickname. Theo. "You are right, it is easier. My big brother is also called Theo, but his name, for short is Theodore. We aren't very close." The age difference is the likely reason why the two of them were not close at all. He asked if she could show him, and Emma's lips smiled once more. It was almost like an infection. She pulled out a few flowers, and she did the knots, before she made her movements much slower, so that he could see. Just as she was about to speak, she heard someone saying her name. It was her brother, Jean. Asking if she wanted something. She shook her head toward him, since she was preoccupied. "Enjoy that for me, Jean!" the Gryffindor shouted back before she turned her attention once more to her peer. Emma set her flower chain down, before her hands cupped his. "I'll show guide your hands, Theo!" This way, she can guide him through the motions.

Orwell would've continued just discussing with Doriana about the whole house elves when he was called over by Archie, and since everything seemed in order, he didn't have to worry about anything else really, not as of right now. So, Brock walked over to Archie and then was pulled down to sit next to him, taking the stick with the marshmallows at the end of it, and looking at it with a question just forming on his lips and then his question was answer when Archie informed him, as well as the wider group that they were in fact gelatine free, which Orwell just smiled at. He had told Archie about his diet, which was almost veganism, just not entirely, when the occasion sometimes meant that he had no other choice he would just deal with it. But having his best friend remember this, and cater to him, just made Orwell feel such love for his best and closest friend, so he leaned more into Archie and leaned his head against Archie's head in small thanks before holding the marshmallows out in front of the fire and letting them roast, "Is this everyone else's first real protest?" he asked the group, he wanted to talk about what they were doing at the forest, talk more in depth about what they were doing and the reasons behind it, though they'd talked about it before Orwell just liked talking about the struggle, and since they'd be here all night he thought this would be a good place to start the conversation.

Tholomyes' attention remained on Emma, as she told him about her brother called Theo and he couldn't help but feel a little like she needed a personal nickname for him so that there was no confusion with her brother, but his mind was just saying that of course there was a brother with a similar name to his, his full name being a mouthful but perhaps such things would come with time, he tried to come up with something else to say, to add, but no one in his family was called Emma and telling her what his sisters and brother were called seemed pointless to the conversation, clearly he had nothing good to add to this conversation and he barely hid a sigh at this, thinking that were it not for the flowers he would be unable to keep the conversation going with Emma. He couldn't help but smile with Emma, her smile just seemed to make his own grow, he hadn't felt himself smile this much since he'd been at this school, he looked down at her hands as she showed him what to do, he seemed to be able to take his eyes off the slow movements of her hands as she showed him what to do, although the Ravenclaw wasn't sure he would be able to do it, he looked up at the sound of someone else speaking to Emma and when she said his name, he had a moment of realisation that this was the boy his sister spoke about on occasion as the French boy who was her friend. Did that mean that Emma was related to him, and possibly spoke French, but there was little time to ponder that as she turned back to him, and began guiding his hands on what the motions were for creating the flower crown, "I think I'm getting this," he commented softly in french, not even realising he'd slipped into the other language, "I might not be as hopeless at this as I thought, thanks," the second thing he said was in english, completely unaware of his switch.

Emma noticed that this Theo seemed to fall silent, and wondered if he had trouble talking to girls, or just people in general. However, she paid no mind, and continued to work on a flower crown. When she heard French, she beamed. She could speak her native tongue toward him! Emma was so excited, she exclaimed in her home language, "You speak French? Me too! I live in France with my mom and my stepfather! We live in this huge manor but no one visits." Emma did not know why that no one visited, but it was actually because that their manor was unplottable, and no one visited without restrictions. It was strange being in the Snow and Zhefarovich family. Both manors ran similarly but both families were as different as snow and fire. Emma looked over what he was doing, and thought that he was making a really good looking crown. She finished hers and placed it on Theo's head. She smiled toward him, as if it faltered even just a little bit. "Cute." Emma got some more so that she could make her own, before she started to braid her hair, throwing the flowers in it at the same time. "What do you think of the school? Do you have any relatives? That boy that yelled toward me was my big brother, Jean. I have like a thousand siblings. I'm the youngest though." She was still speaking in French, and not caring about what others thought of her not speaking English. French was just easier to her. No one could convince her otherwise. Though she thought the same thing about her singing until someone pointed it out. Now, she no longer sang.

Archie threw his half eaten muffin behind him and yawned as he leant towards his best friend. The muffin was delicious and he would have loved to savor the chocolaty taste for longer but he had been hit by a sudden wave of sleepiness he couldn't hold back no matter how hard he tried. He smiled when Orwell asked the group if this was their first protest, thinking the question was unnecessary though it still sounded adorable to his ears. "Of course this is everyone's first protest Brock. We're not all seasoned anarchists like you." Archie yawned a second time as he finished his sentence and shifted around to curl beside his friend so they could snuggle. Letting his feelings of sleepiness continue to take over his body and not caring that they were with a crowd of fellow protest goers around a fire instead of alone like they would usually be. Archie had just developed an inability to sleep properly without Orwell being beside him and he'd be damned if he tried to change that now. He would not get a wink of sleep tonight otherwise. The forbidden forest felt peaceful, though it was eerily peaceful like they were in the calm before the storm and anything could happen which Archie was not happy to think about but the thought was almost non-existent in his mind while he continued to snuggle Orwell and slowly nod off to sleep.

Professor Kalif Styx was not a fan of having to bust students, especially so many at once. However, someone was genius enough to schedule a bonfire within the boundaries at school, at night no less, and with several other students, right at the forbidden forest. How stupid could this student get, and the others for following suit. He made his way across the lawns, seeing the students with his dark eyes, revealing nothing short of anger right now. Kalif saw that there were none of his students. Perhaps they were too smart to come here. Or feared what he would do to them. He had sent for backup, and figured that some other professors could join within the fun. Whipping out his wand, he cast a couple of spells, one to keep the students from running into the forest with a repelling spell, and two, to extinguish the flames. Kalif announced, over all the conversations, "This little 'protest' is over. You are all in serious trouble." Kalif was known as a professor that no one should cross, and he was prepared for every single outcome. He would have to take these students to their heads of houses, except for one. Hufflepuff lacked a Head of House right now. She'd have to go to the headmistress.

Patrolling with Styx was definitely the least fun that Misha had in the school, not only was the older man much more serious about his job, but usually actually made them do the work they needed to where Misha preferred trailing along and just not taking part. But, he was forced to with Styx, although the man had known about the protest, it was hard not to know about it, the signs about it had been all across the school and the ring leader had hardly been quiet about it. So, Misha had known that Styx would definitely jump on the chance of being able to bust such a thing, so when he had begun the patrol with him, and realised what was happening, Misha excused himself to go grab Jon, the muggle studies professor who was to help them take care of this situation, when he had the younger man, they walked together down to where the protest was and looked between the small crowd of students they were faced with, Kalif seemed in a mind of his own about this, he and Jon were likely to split the students between them, and allow the leader to be taken to the head mistress. Although he got the idea this wasn't actually going to be as easy as they thought it might be.

Jonathon didn't know what he was getting into when he offered to sponsor the Wild Patch Club. He had met the leader, Orwell, a couple of times and in the short interactions they had shared they managed to meet a mutual agreement. An agreement where Jon was only required to help out and provide support as well as advertising club events when he was asked. But this protest was different. It technically broke the school rules and while Jon could admit that he admired Orwell's spirit, he knew it was his responsibility to intervene when it was past curfew so he had prepared to show up to the protest as late as he could. Allowing Orwell's plans be somewhat of a success while keeping his professor responsibilities as a high priority. He had been partway out of his office when Misha arrived, only realizing then that he had lost track of time in the midst of marking assignments. He sighed and followed the other professor to where the protest was settled, rubbing one of his tired eyes when his steps halted to a stop. Jon had wanted breaking up this protest to be calm, he had wanted to pull Orwell aside and tell him that the protest needed to come to a close before quietly escorting the students to their heads of houses who would deal with the rest of it. But he had begun to realize that breaking up this protest quietly and returning to his office for the rest of the night wouldn't be so easy. He looked at Misha and shrugged before turning back towards the group of students so he could speak. "Okay, fun's over everyone. You heard what the man said. Start packing up your belongings." Jon had no idea what he was doing but backing up Kalif was better than nothing.
