Even Fairytales Come To An End

Evelyn was waiting in the Garden. She would meet with Noah here. As usual the two went to the Yule Ball together and Evelyn enjoyed every part of it. But at the Yule Ball something happend and Evelyn couldn't get rid of this feeling. Evelyn and Noah were together since the end of their second year. Now they were already fifth years and still together. But there was something happening that Evelyn didn't thought would. And she had a fight inside of her mind. Mixed feelings were happening and one feeling was added since a few weeks ago. As most of the people knew in this school was that the blonde hated lies. Some people thought it was annoying that the blonde just spilled out what she had to say or thought, but Evelyn was just an honest person. She couldn't live with herself with the thought and feeling she had at the moment and couldn't lie to herself anymore.

Evelyn walked back and front she was pretty nervous. She didn't sleep all night, had to think some things true. But she didn't want to lie to Noah. Noah was just the sweetest person she knew and she didn't want to hurt him. But she would do that today she figured. Evelyn was pretty scared, because she didn't knew herself what was happening. But ofcourse the one person that had to do with this situation was Lucas Woodlock. Evelyn came to the conclusion that she just couldn't get rid of this guy. Lucas had been ignoring her like forever since Evelyn had turned him down in second year. They were best friends, but Lucas had grown feelings for Evelyn and that ruined everything. Evelyn saw Lucas together with Zoe at the Yule Ball and for the first time in her life she was jealous. She had been denying it for a hundred times, but she couldn't lie to herself anymore. She loved Noah, but Lucas too. Evelyn had grown feelings for Lucas and they were pretty strong. She couldn't help it. The blonde didn't understand it too, since she loved Noah very much. But the feeling she had right now wasn't something she ever felt before and she was sure about it. And today she was gonna share this with her boyfriend, and it would become hard.. But it was harder to lie to him, she wanted to be true to Noah and hear what he has to say about it. The blonde sighted and searched out for her boyfriend.

Noah wasn't much interested in the company of other people right now. His aunt had died on Christmas. In a lot of respects, she had been like another mother to him because she was so close to his mother. They were best friends before his father married her. His mother had secluded herself away in the bedroom, but he could hear her crying. Noah's dad had even broken down in to tears at the funeral. He couldn't imagine the grief his cousins had to be feeling at losing their mother.

Still, Noah had promised to meet Evelyn in the gardens, so he went. The Slytherin boy always kept his promises. It only took him a few minutes to find her. She was beautiful, and in a lot of respects, he loved her, but Noah found that he wasn't in love with her. At least, not now. Still, he smiled when he saw her. "Evelyn." he greeted, kissing her lightly on the cheek. "Did you have a good break?" he asked.

Evelyn was looking out for her boyfriend. She looked around the garden and noticed it wasn't very crowdy yet. Evelyn felt kinda guilty for telling what she wanted to tell Noah at this time. He just had lost his aunt and Evelyn had stood by his side to support him. Evelyn had met Kiera once at Noah his home. She seemed like a wonderfull person and Evelyn felt bad for the whole family. But she didn't want to lie and hurt Noah anymore. If things came out afterwards he would be more hurt she figured. She was glad that Noah had agreed to meet up. But that wasn't such a suprise since Noah did much for Evelyn.

Noah was a great boyfriend and Evelyn had asked herself many times why she wouldn't stay with him, because she loved him. But she loved anyone else more and she knew that now. When she saw Noah his face the blonde smiled. He kissed her on the cheek and the feeling was still nice, but different than when they started dating and were the lovebirds as they always were. They were even in the top ten cutest couples and a known couple around the school. A while ago Evelyn would do anything for that title, but she had changed a lot over the years. She was true to herself and didn't want to put up an act. She hated lies and honesty was the most important thing for her. The blonde smiled as Noah asked her. They had spend some time together, but Evelyn respected the time that Noah wanted to have with his family too. Evelyn didn't want professor Kingsley to look at her with her judgemental look all the time. The blonde thought about what her head of house would think of her if she would end things with her son. She was curious if she would act different to her. '' Hi Noah!'' the blonde started off with a smile. She looked at him with her bright blue eyes. '' It was fine. Nothing very special. I've thought a lot about you and your family. '' If Evelyn would return the question she already would know the answer so she didn't asked Noah. The blonde sighted for a moment and saw a bench. '' Shall we sit down? I've got something that I've want to tell you.'' Evelyn told Noah and noticed that she sounded a bit less confident than she wished to be.
