[Professor Kalif Styx]

Professor Styx leads the two contestants to the stage, appointing them into the north or south part of the stage. He reveals the rules as well as the point system. He walks off the stage and orders the duel to begin, as he keeps a watchful eye.​

All right, make sure that you use the spell list for guidance. No board rule breaking is acceptable. Have fun! I have a copy of the code that you should use with every post. Remember, when you are knocked out, unable to shoot anymore spells, you lost. And if you run out of points, you lose.

Although Clementine found dueling to be too cruel after having done it once, she was going to honor her commitment and proceed with the second round of duels. She smiled brightly at her opponent and bowed as was customary. After that she raised her wand and shouted, "Expelliarmus!" since that was the spell that had won her the previous duel.

Rory had been pleased when he had gotten through to the second round of the dueling and he was exceedingly hopeful of his chances to win. The boy couldn't help the easy smile as he stood in front of an undeserving hufflepuff student and after the formalities assumed position. She managed to get the first spell in but he was quick to deflect and fired back as strong a "Tarantallegra" curse at her.
