Lilith had felt empty starting the year without her best friend by her side, of course she had Eoghan but she missed Tori way too much. Maybe that was why right after the feast the next morning the third year had made the climb to the owlery, she'd sat there writing her letter that now was on it's way to the other side of the world.

Dear Asterope,

First of all hey I miss you! Second of all please come back? Third of all how are you? I just wanted to send you a letter to say I'm back at school, I have started a diary that I'll make an entry like every day or at least week, so I can give it to you once you get back start of next semester! Not much has happened yet but I did buy books. TORI I HAD SO MANY?!? MY POOR BACK PLEASE. They should at the very least let us use the levitation spell to carry those books back to the castle, honestly ugh. Gryffindor actually gained quite a few new firsties this year, it's gonna be a busy year. If they are anything like you I feel sorry for Professor Cade, alas not my problem. I'm looking forward to the start of lessons, which I may or may not have picked all electives available but I'll worry about that in um fiveish weeks? Once the exam rush starts, until then I'll just go with the flow.

Have you met any interesting new people yet? Anything cool happened? Pleaseee you have to tell me everything!!! My hand is kind of freezing so I'm going to have to wrap this letter up but like write back or I'm figuring out how to send a howler and sending one for you! <3

Tori hadn’t been at school barely a week when she received a letter from Lili - she opened it the moment she got back to her dorm, telling her new buddy, Stefan, that she needed to reply to her friend. He was nice enough to walk her back and she tried so hard not to blush at him. It was getting ridiculous how red her cheeks got whenever he so much as looked at her. As if he would ever be interested in a girl who could barely speak to him - unless he did the leg work in English.

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WROTE TO ME!!! I KNEW YOU WOULD!!! Anyway, I can't believe school is already back! The fact I'm not there is CRAZY! Say hi to everyone for me please! Tell Eoghan I took some of his advice and I made sure to make all of my notes out before the classes started so that I had things to fall back on, because everything here is in German, and taking notes in class is hard because I have to pay attention and I can't think fast enough in English let alone in German - I can't even THINK in German. WHAT WAS I THINKING! Honestly it's very difficult to deal with sometimes, but everyone is actually really nice. I don't really know why I'm surprised.

Oh! My new friend Stefan said I should say hi! I met him my first day when I was looking for my charms class. OH! Did you know that this school only have like four floors? Can you believe it? It's a much smaller school and yet I still get lost. Which is INSANE! ANYWAY! So I met Stefan and he helped me find my charms class and now he's helping me learn more German! Which is great because all of my classes are currently in German and I have no idea what's being said in most them. If I come back in five months and I don't know any spells, you know why. Anyway! Please don't send me a howler! I don't think the girls in my dorm like me very much as it is, I'm kind of an interloper. Please give my love to everyone! And I will see you all soon!

OH. MY. GOD?!?! YOUR NEW FRIEND? STEFAN!?! HI STEFAN!!! Is he nice? Is he cute OOOH PLEASEEE TELL ME EVERYTHING WHAT IS HE LIKE??? I'm glad he is helping you out though that's very kind of him! Yeah no worries if you come back not knowing any spells I'll catch you up in no time! I'll share my notes and practice with you, but I also trust you got this 100%! Also I tried out for the Quidditch team again, after last years loss I was pretty ashamed of my performance and was sooooo close to just you know not trying out? But I did it anyways because I refuse to give up after one failure Now we just wait. I don't think anyone else tried out for Seeker so I should be good, right? Though who knows... ANYWAYS LOVE YOU LOADS I'LL WRITE AGAIN!!! <3

Okay soooo the results are innn aaaaannnddd I DID IT!!! I MADE THE SEEKER! AAAAHHHH TORI I AM SO EXCITED! Though you know I did take all the electives right, its a bit busy but also not in a bad way because I definitely am having a lot of fun with them. Professor Waldgrave disappeared, Merlin knows where he went but we have a substitute for now, fingers crossed she stays. Professor Geovanna Adler, she's very nice so far! There's also a new unofficial club I joined, I think you'd like it. It's called The Brew Crew, obviously it is for potions. We all miss youuu, how's life over there? How are things with Steffyboy Anything to report back, please say yes. Life has been so boring and quiet lately, all I do is study it seems like. I like it but like please tell me something exciting.

OH! I forgot to mention earlier but June Davenport is the Head Girl for the year anddd Hugo Stark-West is the Head Boy also Gryffindors literally started off with negative points, -50!?! Now however they are in the lead.... Having gained like 600 points already?!? Crazy people I tell you that.
