DA meeting Three

Hilary was trying her sheild again. "Protego" and this time it was even better. She could tell that she was getting back into the motions of using her wand. She just stood there looking through her sheild at the others. These people are working to hard she thought. It's just an easy motion.
 
Estrella looked at her watch, realizing that there was somewhere she had to be. She approached Courtney, and said quietly, "I forgot; there are a few things I need to do. I'm sorry." Hoping that Courtney wasn't too mad at her, she left.
 
Protego, Zoe said firmly, as she flicked her wand the proper way. Her shield was becoming more, and more stronger the more she practised. She was able to keep it set for a good amount of time now.

She kept practising, waiting for further direction.
 
"Good, good." Courtney mutterred to everybody. "Now, I suspect you all want to move on, correct?" She was hesitant about moving on to tougher spells, as she did not know how skilled the first years were yet.
 
"Protego!"Sam kept on saying.Then he heard Courtney say something about moving on,he really wanted to learn more spells.He stopped what he was doing and waited to see what they would learn next.
 
oooh! Goody!Crystal thought when she heard they would be moving on and looked at courtney to see what they would be doing next.
 
Great.thougth Ginny who wasn't getting any better at her sheild which was already good to her mind.
She loved learning spells and using her wand.

Courtney sighed and looked at her watch, it was getting late. "Okay guys, we don't have much time. We aren't going to start a new spell, but I would like to hear your suggestions of what you would like to practice next meeting."
 
"How about the disarming charm?"Crystal suggested,"That should be easy enough for us."she added thinking of all the first years including her who weren't exactly elite in magic yet.
 
Expelliarmus or some locker charm, piped ginny. She had never sen the movement for the spell expeliarmus so she would love to do that first. :)

Courtney grabbed her bag that she had placed on the grass and put it over her shoulder. "Okay everybody, I think this was a good meeting. For our next meeting we will start will Expelliarmus, as requested. Keep practicing and I'll see everybody next meeting!"
 
Hilary grabbed her bag off the ground and stood just waited to see if anyone wanted to talk to her.
 
"Just before we leave,"Crystal piped up raising her hand to be noticed amid the leaving crowd,"Can I ask when the next meeting will be?"
 
"Ah, yes," Courtney replied. "Meeting announcements can be found on the bulletin board of the DA. I have not decided when the meeting will be, but as soon as I come up with a date it will be posted on the board."
 
"Thanks!"said Crystal picking up her bag,"Bye!"she added as she left.
 
Hilary walked over to Courtney because she had a bit of a question. "Are we having any officers for this club or is it more just a help someone who seems to be having problems type thing?" Hilary wasn't exactly sure if that had made sense but knew that if there were officers she wanted to be considered.
