Open Cupid's Bow

Emmanuel had been pondering over what to wear for this halloween, having nothing particular that he wanted to go as, and then deciding that he would use his pink shirt and waistcoat, and then made everything else pink. He had a fake bow and a toy arrow and really this was the wrong event for this outfit but he was perfectly happy to still use it. Emmanuel had grabbed a snack and was considering what he wanted to do during this halloween feast.

Penelope felt vaguely guilty towards Daria for seeking out Emmanuel at the dance, but only vaguely. They were friend, it was normal to talk to your friends at events like this. Even if you knew your other friend might like him. Penelope hadn't dressed up much, Halloween wasn't really her thing. She had just borrowed Holden's Gryffindor tie. She headed over to Emmanuel, who was all in pink. "Hi." She said, all other words she had wanted to say immediately disappearing.

Emmanuel wasn't alone for very long, he glanced at Penny and smiled warmly at her. He gave a little wave to her. "Hi Penny," he greeted. He noted what she was wearing, the uniform with the slightly different tie. "Congratulations on the new house," he said with a warm and jokey tone.

Penny laughed at Emmanuel's joke, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Thanks." She said though it was a bit silly. "What... are you dressed as? You look nice." She said, rushing to add the last part. He did look nice, but she wasn't sure what his costume was.

Emmanuel smiled at her, and then held up the bow that he had. "I'm cupid!" he told her excitedly, since he thought it was fairly obvious, but also really just the bow was the thing to tip it off, he just otherwise was dressed completely in pink.
