🌹 Rose Giving Before You Go

[Delilah Thorne]

Delilah finally found her way to the Ravenclaw table and she could hear her stomach growl even in the crowded hall. But she had one more rose to deliver before she could take a break. She found Adorah fairly quickly and tapped the older girl on the shoulder gently to get her attention. Delilah hoped she wasn't interrupting but this was likely to be quick. "I have a rose for you." she said softly and handed her a yellow rose.

Adorah was entranced by her food when she felt someone tap her shoulder, turning around to see one of the younger Ravenclaws. "Oh, hi - thank you!" she responded with a surprised tone, having not received a rose quite yet.

 

[Delilah Thorne]

Delilah smiled and folded her hands in front of herself, unsure what to do with them now. "Uh, you're welcome." she mumbled, suddenly very nervous. "And the note!" she said a little too loudly and was thankfully for a reason to busy herself. "Here you go." Delilah said breathlessly as she found the right note and handed it over.

Adorah took the rose and flower, unable to hide the smile on her face as she realized the rose was from Elliot, one of her first friends at school who really helped fuel her interest in Astronomy. "Thanks, again," she said sweetly to the younger Ravenclaw, refolding the note and placing it in her pocket.
