Beauxbatons Practice Y43 S1

Rule 2a

Eren relished the challenge when Asclepius got his hands on the quaffle, tailing him closely before knocking into him hard from the side as he caught up. He let out a hoot of victory as he wrested the quaffle from him before changing directions and heading back towards Xenia.
 
Vincent sighed as he flew around the pitch.
 
Eren's grip wasn't as secure on the quaffle as he would have liked after grabbing it, but he didn't want to risk the other chasers snatching it right back to he hurried to the hoops. He should have known it would result in a weak shot, but he'd hoped Xenia would be too busy with trying to be encouraging to block his shot, but apparently that wasn't the case.
 
Nina kicked her feet a little. This searching was harder than she thought.
 
Xenia was almost not paying attention but she saw the quaffle get stolen back by Eren and tried to hide a smirk. She was just alert enough to stop it, but it wasn't one of his best throws, admittedly. She shrugged, tossing the quaffle back out.
 
Trying to regain some focus, Eren hung back for a minute, watching Xenia and the quaffle to get a read on the game's momentum.
 
Malik was starting to feel frustrated as he missed yet another bludger
 
Ava glanced around to see where the bludgers were.
 
Vincent flew around the pitch.
 
Seeing an opening, Eren swooped in and grabbed the quaffle again, deciding to give Xenia a break and go bother Bellamy at the other end of the pitch.
 
Nina still didn't catch the snitch. If only it were so easy.
 
Xenia kept a look out, though at this point she was mostly watching the quaffle.
 
With plenty of run up (and a much less experienced keeper), Eren had no problem making his next shot against Bellamy, leaning back smugly. Now he just needed to score on Xenia again.
 
Vincent could not find the snitch.
 
Feeling pleased, Eren hung back again to watch the quaffle be thrown back into play.
 
Ava missed another bludger, which was annoying her a little.
 
Vincent did not find any glimmer of gold.
 
Deciding to see if he could get another goal on Xenia, Eren swept forward and grabbed the quaffle again.
 
Vincent flew, not finding anything.
 
Nina also didn't find anything, starting to wonder if this was some sort of wild goose chase.
 
Xenia was going to have to give the chasers a bit of a push somehow, but she focused as she saw Eren heading back towards her.
 
Malik huffed as he smacked another bludger, but it missed.
 
Quaffle tucked tight under his arm, Eren decided to forgo trying to fake out Xenia, hoping she would overthink it. Either she guessed right or he telegraphed too obviously, but she was able to block his shot yet again, much to Eren's annoyance.
 
Vincent flew around in the air.
 
Eren definitely wasn't sulking, but he did hang back some as the quaffle was thrown back in.
