Beauxbatons Practice Y43 S1

Malik frowned when Ava managed to hit someone before him, but he supposed it made sense. She was the more experienced player whereas he had only really been flying for a year.

Ava flew after another bludger.

Vincent felt a hit against his shoulder. A bludger. Well he better get used to it, right?

Ava hit the bludger but send it flying into the emtpy air.

Vincent continued to not find the snitch.

Xenia was getting back into it. Blocking shots midair was different to playing goalie with her cousins but it was kind of like riding a bike. Or a broom, as it were.

Nina also continued not finding the snitch.

The lack of hits was really starting to make Malik question himself. Maybe he wasn't good enough for the team and should have given it another year of practice before trying out.

Vincent continued to fly around the pitch.

Ava looked for another bludger.

Vincent had no luck finding the snitch

Ava was about to hit the bludger she had been following but swerved and missed it at the last minute.

Vincent flew around the pitch.

Nina flew a little closer to bludgers than she should have, but none had collided with her...yet.

Xenia looked around the pitch, doing some arm stretches mid-air. She wasn't really sure how to offer general encouragement without sounding silly but she could see the beaters and seekers especially putting in the effort. Maybe she'd have to organize a lunch for the team at some point for morale.

He was really hoping he would hit a bludger sometime soon.

She was really hoping she'd see the snitch sometime soon.

"You're doing good, guys," Xenia called, kind of lamely but hoping it would help a little. Playing keeper was a good and a bad thing - she could sit and watch what was happening but she couldn't really go over and chat to non-chasers to see how they were going, offer any help. Not that she could actually play beater or seeker if she was asked, she imagined.

Vincent waved at the captain as she said they were doing well, and kept flying.

Nina wobbled a bit on her broom as she paused to try and look around, giggling a little as she did. No snitch, though.

Xenia rolled her head, trying to de-tense her neck while she had a few moments free.

Would Vincent ever catch the snitch? The world may never know.

Malik hit another bludger, but it missed.

Rule 2a.

Seeing no one else around Asclepius grabbed the quaffle and started to make his way towards the hoops on the other side of the pitch.
