A Special Evening

Evelyn was looking forward to this evening from the beginning of the year already. Yule Ball was the best thing at Hogwarts and since the blonde liked to dress up nicely she could take it all away this evening. She chose for a red long dress and thought it would be lovely to wear her house colour this evening. She had been busy with her hair and make-up for a few hours and now it was finally time. Evelyn was going with Noah Kingsley, and this would be the first time she wasn't here with Lucas. It felt strange in some way, but also good since the blonde liked Noah a lot and tonight it would be a special evening, since the blonde was planning on telling him about her feelings. She hoped this evening would turn out as magical and perfect as she had inside of her mind. She wasn't sure how she would react if he wouldn't have the same feelings. Still the blonde had trouble with dealing if she didn't got what she wanted. But she was almost certain Noah would feel the same, it was just amazing to be with him and he must have feel the same.

As the blonde made her way to the Great Hall where she would meet with Noah, she waited in front of the door. They would walk in together ofcourse and Evelyn hoped Noah would enjoy this Ball just as she did. She was wondering if he liked dancing, she never had done it before with him. As she looked around while lots of students were passing by she hoped to see a handsome Noah in suit. The blonde was certain about this would go well, but what if it wasn't? She sighted one time and waited for her date.

Noah Kingsley was nervous for the evening ahead of him. He had asked his Evelyn to be his date to the Yule Ball. Noah thought she was beautiful and fun to be around. She was the first girl that had ever made him get that butterfly feeling in the pit of his stomach that he wasn't quite sure he liked. Noah was pleased that she had accepted his invitation.

The Slytherin boy made his way up from the dungeons to wait on Evelyn at the door. She didn't see him as she walked down the staircase, but he saw her. His eyes widened. She was so lovely in her red dress. He crossed the entrance hall to meet her. "Evelyn," Noah breathed. "You look perfect." he said, handing her the red rose he had in his hand.

Evelyn was curious how Noah would look. She liked when boys wear suits,it made them more handsome she thought. The blonde was so happy when Noah had asked her to the Yule Ball, she was gonna ask him if he didn't. Some girls thought it was tradition that a boy asked a girl, but Evelyn didn't cared. She was direct and if she wanted something she wanted it. But Noah was earlier and she was a happy girl to be asked.

When she looked at some girls in their dresses she really wanted to tell them the shoes weren't that good of a choice. Evelyn wanted to help girls and boys with their looks. To give them advice and make them feel more confident about themselves. But now she was here for Noah and not for them. When she heard her name all of sudden she turned her head to the direction and saw Noah. He was so grown up all of sudden and he looked handsome in his beautiful grey suit. A smile appeared on the blonde her face and when he said she looked perfect that was the cherry on the ice cream. '' Hey Noah '' Evelyn said with a confident smile. She looked at his suit and shoes and every detail and it was well just what she wanted a boy to look. '' Thank you, that is so sweet. You look handsome too.'' she said friendly in return to her friend. She grabbed the rose with her right hand and smiled charming at him. This was so romantic and everything that she wished for. She forgot about her trouble with Lucas all of sudden and knew this was the right moment and person to spend this evening with. '' Shall we go inside and blow their minds?'' the blonde asked with a smile.

Noah ran a hand through his messy hair. His mum was always going on at him about how he needed a haircut, but he thought the shaggier hair fit him more. Evelyn certainly seemed to enjoy it, and that was what was important to him at the moment. "You're welcome, Ev." he said, taking her free hand in his. Noah cared what the Gryffindor girl thought of him. He grinned at her as she told him he was handsome. A slight red tinge appeared on his cheeks, and he hoped she wouldn't notice it. "Let's do just that. I'm sure they won't be able to keep their eyes off of you. You look so beautiful tonight." he said, leading her into the Great Hall. He was proud she was all his for the evening.

The blonde looked at her friend and was wondering what he would think right now. When he called her Ev the blonde started to smile. She liked when people created nicknames for her, it was cute in a way. Lucas did it too, but he didn't anymore without a reason the blonde didn't knew why. But Lucas wasn't important right now, she had only eyes for Noah. Evelyn smiled at Noah and when he took her hand she felt butterfly's or something. It was a feeling she never had before and it felt great. Now she knew this was the right moment and right time with the right person. Noah seemed to like the compliment that she gave and she noticed in his face he was happy. What could get wrong now? Evelyn was confident Noah felt the same way about her, why would he be so charming and nice to her otherwise? And when he made a incredible sweet comment she couldn't stop smiling anymore. '' We do, and I'm sure they will. But tonight I'm all yours.'' the blonde said confident to Noah.

As she hold his hand she dragged him along not very hard inside of the Great Hall and looked around. The blonde was wondering if her friends would like Noah. She and Noah were always together and Amber and Noemie didn't seemed to know him. But from his last name they had guessed he was the son of Professor Kingsley from Gryffindor. Evelyn didn't cared about that, she still wanted to make a good impression on her head of house and she hoped she would respect the girl. After all Evelyn got good grades and did her very best on school, she never had done anything wrong yet.. As they stopped at the drinks table the blonde took a glass and offered one to Noah. '' Cheers to a special evening.'' she hold her glass and waited for the boy to respond. '' I've got something I've wanted to tell you. And I ask you to be honest with me.'' the blonde begin to talk. This was gonna be the moment and Evelyn was confident of it, but wanted a honest answer of Noah.
