A Long Awaited Reunion

Nicolas smiled, he wasn't happy per se, but there didn't seem to be anything else to do. He had hoped Sarah would forgive him but this seemed highly unlikely at the moment or quite a while afterwards. He slipped on his cloak, "So I'll so you around then?"

Sarah nodded, beginning to wonder if this was all too good to be true and that Nicolas would never actually follow up. She decided that she could not do anything about it now and simply smiled. "Yeah, I suppose. Thanks again Nick." With another nod Sarah made to walk out the door, not wanting to go in for another hug.
