Emily had enjoyed the first event that they had done, now it was time for the second. This event required more effort and she had asked several people for their help. There were a couple of house elves ready to help the students with their recipes, alongside the elves was the headmistress. She was here to oversee the event, working in the kitchens could be really dangerous and the headmistress was here to make sure no one would accidentally chop one of their digits off. Before the students would barge into the kitchens Emily had laid a recipe on every counter so the students could read what they needed to do.

It was important that the students learned that the food they ate didn't appear magically or that elves just clicked with their fingers. It was also a nice moment to actually meet some of the house elves and appreciate their hard work. The groceries were all in and each counter had everything you needed for a succesion of the recipe. Soon enough the students walked in and Emily waited for everyone to come in
. ‘’Welcome everyone to the second activity of new and revived Conglomerated Arts club’’ Emily spoke confidently and hoped she was understandable for everyone. ''Today we are going to make some chocolate afghan cookies'' Emily paused '' The origin of the recipe is right here in New Zealand but the name likely originates from the colour Afghanistan brown'' Most students actuallly from New Zealand knew about these cookies and she was sure some of them already had made them at home.

''Each counter has the recipe for these cookies and the ingredients you need, if you need help ask one of the elves or your next kitchen neighbour'' Emily smiled. ''Work safe and clean, so wash your hands and tie up your hair first'' Emily hoped that this was going to be a succes. ''You can work in pairs or alone, whatever you prefer'' Emily looked over at the group of students in front of her ''And that leads me to the end of this introduction, good luck everyone and have fun'' Emily smiled.

Nicola walked into the kitchen alongside her sister. The note she had recieved said the next Arts club event was going to be held in the kitchens. When Nic walked in she spotted a couple of house elves and the headmistress. It was all so exciting and Nic listened to the leader of the club talk about todays activity. She got excited to learn and bake these cookies and when the introduction ended she looked at her sister. ''Wanna pair up with me, Sis?'' Nic asked Morgan.

Katherine held high hopes for the revived Conglomerated Arts club. Having an unused clubroom had been wasteful, particularly when the student body was bursting with creativity, and the school had been in dire need of an outlet for that creativity for some time. The headmistress stood in the kitchens, slowly wandering down the length of the tables in a patrol-route fashion, to both assist and oversee the event. The last thing the school needed was someone burning down the dungeons. Too many young students already thought it was acceptable to help themselves to the kitchens facilities without a proper authority ensuring they didn't create any danger, or to simply stuff their faces with food that wasn't theirs to take, and too few of the kitchen staff were willing to turn them away. Katherine had been hesitant to allow this particular cooking event, in case it only served to encourage more students to continue to use the kitchens unaccompanied, though in the end, it seemed best to allow them the opportunity to learn and bake under the proper conditions.

Clara walked here and she waited so much cookings with elves. She waited Lumio here and hoped spend grate time with him.

Ana Sofia wasn't much of a baker or a cook, so whilst the idea of baking cookies with the club sounded extremely nice she had already decided she'd need to find someone who could help her out. If only they would decorate the cookies as well she could've come up with a good division of the work: let someone else do most of the baking so she could head on with the decorating. But that wasn't the plan. Instead, Ana happily entered the kitchens and looked around for another student that seemed like they might be better at baking than she was.

Lumio arrived at the kitchens pretty eager to get started. he wasn't much of a baker, he made things like pasta and actual dishes, cookies were far more Clara's speed. he walked into the kitchens and found Clara easily, "hey!" he muttered to her, before listening to the leader's words. he nodded in agreement and was pleased when they could just get started, "I'm going to copy you because I bet you already know how to make this," he joked.

Gemny was feeling very honoured that she had been asked to help the student cooking club. She had hardly slept the previous night she had been busy making cookies. she had made them before for afternoon tea some times. She had a tray of them already made for those who wanted them or those who may not have been successful in their cooking. as the students started to arrive she was almost dancing on the balls of her feet with excitement. she was so excited to help the students. She went excitedly over to one student who looked a little lost "Does master needs some help?" she asked wondering what she could do to help them.

"Lumio! Glad you came!" Clara was happy see her best friend here and he promised be here. "You can do that, but i can teach you, just follow my lead. " Ravenclaw girl wanted help best friend and he already was her help with pasta.

"No, thanky so much, Mister elf?" she told with a smile elf. She can do that her self and she was alredy cook before.

@Gemny @Lumio Skey

Lumio nodded to her, "Aye aye captain," he said in response before looking towards the elf. He gave it a wide smile, "Oh hey, let's let them help us, that's the point of the event," he told Clara before he looked towards the elf. "Master Lumio could use the help, but if there's someone who needs more help, do feel free to go help them," Lumio said to the elf. "What's the first step then?"

Padme had never been much of a cook, baker or anything in the kitchen, she was part of the arts club but she really didn't feel like she belonged to it much or identified with it much. She had grown up liking art and drawing but it hadn't been something she'd kept up. However, it wasn't like this event was actually that. They were baking cookies with the elves. She wasn't sure how fun it would be, but she was curious enough. She knew she'd need the help from an elf, with a limited knowledge on how a person cooked. padme walked into the room, spotting a few familiar enough faces, but no one she knew. She listened to the leader as the girl talked about what this event was and gave some instructions before letting them get to it. She headed over to a spot at one of the counters where there were instructions. She began to read these. perhaps she could treat it like potions...that would work.

Podrey did not want the kitchens filled with students, but he had reluctantly agreed to help with the baking event since they were going to be there anyway. He grumbled to himself, setting out dishes and utensils on the table for the students to use, while generally avoiding eye contact. He would assist with baking if asked, since at least with his help, they would be less likely to destroy half the kitchen supplies, but he wasn't interested in approaching any of the children.

Sawyer wouldn't consider himself a great baker, or even a cook, but he figured he could at least give things a go and follow a recipe. He usually helped Theia with things like this back home, though that mostly meant herding their siblings and their father away from the kitchen long enough to get something done. He listened as Emily explained what they were making, a bit more enthused about the prospect of cookies at the end of this, moving over to the counter and looking speculatively. "Hey, you want to sift some stuff while I try to uh-"Sawyer squinted at the instructions, "-'cream' this?" He offered to another girl in his year, picking up a bowl and some butter. @Ana Sofia Burleigh

After looking around for a second Ana Sofia had been blankly staring at the instructions and the ingredients in front of her. This was definitely not going to end well, she almost knew that for certain. She looked up when someone else spoke to her, recognizing the boy as a first year as well. "Yeah, sure." She responded, looking at the recipe and instructions again to see what needed to be sift before picking up the powder, flour and a sieve. "Sifting seems like it would be the easiest part." Ana said with a light chuckle, just in time realizing she needed to put a bowl under the sieve before she was going to start. @Sawyer Carnahan

Sydney wasn't particularly thrilled about today's art club meeting. Baking wasn't exactly something she had much interest at all, generally being barred from the kitchen back home. It didn't help that Professor Alicastell was also here and Sydney gave her a wide berth, annoyed and uncertain why she was even here. Did the school trust their students not to bust their heads open with bludgers or magic, but a few kitchen utensils required supervision.

Emily set them about making biscuits and while Sydney was a fan of a good biscuit, she was more interested in finding a way to actually make this worth her time. Pulling some scrap parchment, Sydney mused whether she could work this into an article for HM, though something more interesting than some boring club update. "You," She said, spotting a nearby house elf who looked less than pleased about the club being here as well. "How do you feel about all this, then?" @Podrey

Sawyer had to hide a smile when he watched the girl nearly sift flour onto the counter, nodding sagely when she mentioned it was the easy part. "Yeah, looks like it," He said wryly before looking at the butter he'd dumped into the bowl and frowning. Jokes aside this might actually take some elbow grease, he realized. At least the counters weren't too high like the ones at home tended to be. Sawyer couldn't wait until he was tall enough to not have to stand on his tiptoes to use the kitchen at home. He grabbed the sugar, trying to pour out 80grams without going over. "What's 'oz' stand for?" He asked his new partner. @Ana Sofia Burleigh

"Okey, fine with me!" Clara started read the first recepie about cokies when she was read recipie. She was glad when she was with her best friends and things get was so easy. Clara started with cream the butter and sugar together until it is white and fluffy. Then she was sift the cocoa powder and flour together, then mix in to the creamed mixture. Later Clara Crush the cornflakes slightly then carefully stir them into the mixture. She hoped that she was not to voried about everyone else. Becouse there was lot of people ans she make a little nervos.

Theia wasn’t unfamiliar with cooking or baking when it involved taking care of her siblings, in fact the idea of baking without the disturbance of her dad, Felix, or Thistle running around to annoy her or asking to eat the batter as she made cookies was a relief. But as relieving as it was she couldn’t help but expect a similar amount of chaos from baking as part of a school club event. Arriving to the kitchens, Theia was pleased to see the headmistress nearby to oversee things, thankful if something too chaotic or stressful happened there was someone nearby to deal with it. Noting Sawyer was already making cookies with someone else and not wanting to disturb him, Theia headed to an empty table and began to follow the cookie recipe on her own, not minding if anyone wanted to join her, granted they were able to follow the instructions and not make a mess of the recipe.

Knox hadn’t expected joining the conglomerated arts club to end up baking, of all things, but he supposed with the club being a conglomeration of different arts it made sense, even if he was sure he would make the worst cookies of the bunch. Arriving to the kitchens, Knox listened to the club leader and nodded along before looking around the room to see who was there. He noticed Lumio at a table talking to someone he didn’t recognize, and didn’t hesitate to approach them, thinking they would be much better at baking than he was. “Hey, Lumio!!” Knox exclaimed, standing next to his fellow guitar playing friend and looking at what he was doing. “Hey, I’m Knox!” Knox introduced to the girl. “Can I join you guys? I’m not good at baking but I can help measure things or something.” He added with a bright smile, knowing they were meant to be in pairs but also knowing that he was better off working with more than one person lest he turn the entire kitchens into a cloud of smoke from burnt cookies.

Sifting wasn't so bad, Ana was actually enjoying the easy little task for now. It was far easier than trying to make the butter soft at least. "Isn't that like o..oun-ces, yeah, ounces or something?" Ana replied, not exactly sure whether that was it but she knew it was some sort of measurement and that was what she could think of. It made sense though, as they both started with 'o'. Once she was done sifting the flour and the cocoa she looked back at the recipe to see what was next. "You want me to crush the cornflakes whilst you mix this in?" She asked with a small smile. "Or do you want to switch for a second so I don't take up all the fun jobs?" @Sawyer Carnahan

Lumio smiled at Clara watching and mimicking what she was doing. He could follow her with ease. He glanced away as a familiar voice greeted him, ”Knox!” he said with a wide smile. He liked the older boy, he was nice, it was good to play guitar with him, and in his mind they were now, name buddies. ”Sure!” he told him, he did glanced toward Clara as he said it but he’d already said it, they were supposed to work in pairs, but no one would question one three, would they. ”I’m not good at baking either, I can cook but like baking, that’s just not me. But Clara, Clara can bake!” he said. ”You and I can work together and just copy what she’s doing,” he was suggesting, he would enjoy baking with his two friends, and they could copy Clara and work together on it.

Sawyer glanced up, smiling when he spotted Theia and giving her a quick wave in case she wanted to join them. For all he knew she was happy to get to be in a kitchen without anyone bugging her though, she Sawyer was content to let her be for now, turning his focus back to his new partner. Crushing the cornflakes did sound pretty fun, and Sawyer's arm was starting to hurt a little from mixing already, but he didn't really want to admit that so he just shrugged. "Nah, that sounds good," He said, letting her dump the sifted ingredients into the butter mixture. "Just as long as I get to lick the spoon after, I'm good," He added with a smile. There had definitely been times in the past Sawyer had only helped for batter eating privileges. @Ana Sofia Burleigh

Ana Sofia nodded when the boy agreed on her crushing the cornflakes, secretly very pleased with the task but at least wanting to have given him the opportunity to do something that seemed more fun than mixing the thing together. She happily poured the content of her bowl into the mixture in his and went on to grab the cornflakes. "For sure." She smiled when he mentioned getting to lick the spoon after. Ana knew she had to weigh the cornflakes, but they seemed like a fun ingredient so she couldn't help but to purposely weigh a little more than she needed to just because she liked them. Crushing the cornflakes wasn't a hard task and she was done with it rather quickly. "Right, now we just need to add these and they're ready to get baking!" She happily said as she held her bow of, now crushed, cornflakes up so she could add it to the mixture. So far, so good. @Sawyer Carnahan

Podrey's ears perked up as a girl spoke to him directly, and he slowly set down the last of his utensils to move on and assist her, as he'd been asked to do. He stopped, stunned, when instead she asked his opinion on the whole situation. He had not expected a student to ask how he felt. "Students don't belong in the kitchens." He told her simply and somewhat quietly, though clearly displeased. He didn't like that they'd been allowed there to cook. That was his job. He didn't mind so much if students came by asking for food, but it was when they used the elves cookware that it really became an issue. They may have had permission this time, but usually they helped themselves and didn't even bother to ask, and he imagined they'd continue to do so.
