I can't help it ok new year always excites me, and I only have 2 kids I want to focus on so it should be fine, right?

Arachne Westwick Third Year Hufflepuff Quiet - Strange - Finding her voice​	AJ Carpenter Second Year Gryffindor Responsible - Arrogant - Leader​
Arachne has been neglected by me last year, but I really want to RP with her more. She's the twin of Nessie Westwick and had a big falling out with her during their first year. Arachne is trying to figure out who she is, and is still surprised she has made actual friends in Hufflepuff that seem to like her. She is still kind of strange, but being around nice girls has helped her be better at socializing than before. She's shy and nervous and doesn't like raising her hand in class, but she is opening up a bit more now. She is artistic and has an interest in divination and magical creatures.	AJ is my other poor neglected kid, though he actually had the most threads out of anyone last year so he's not that neglected. I've been really excited to RP with him, so I hope to flesh him out more this year. AJ is the oldest of 6 and feels very responsible and grown up because of that. He is used to being the leader and being in charge, and I could easily see him butting heads with people over that. He is also a very nice and caring person and can be very protective over younger kids. He's loves Quidditch and had really hoped to make the team, unfortunately he didn't. AJ is obsessed with following his father's footsteps in everything, which can cause him problems in the future.
Ideas: More friends, maybe some kids from other houses or other years she can get along with? Bullies, people who find her strange or are mean to her? Crushes, either her crushing on someone or someone crushing on her, I think it could be cute	Ideas: Maybe practicing Quidditch with someone so he can make the team next time I'd love for him to clash with someone because of his personality I could also see him confronting a bully if he saw it happen Any mischief his friends or roommates get up to would be tricky for him, he'd be conflicted between joining them or being responsible

I also have Cyrus Thorne (sixth year Ravenclaw) at Hogwarts, but I mostly want to focus on these two for plots. But if you want to RP with Cyrus and have ideas for him, feel free to let me know as well.

Because I don't want to get overwhelmed I would like mostly long-term plots that go beyond a first meeting thread. I'm also going to try not to take on too many things at once, as that is always my downfall with PDs, lol.

For Arachne, I can offer both Declan and Eloise - I know we touched base on some stuff on Rowan's PD, with Arachne and Declan (and Nessie), which I'm definitely keen on! For Eloise and Arachne, I definitely love the wee bond that the two of them have, and I'd love to explore that a little more! I'm not 100% on ideas long term for the pair of them at the moment (But I hope they do continue to be friends for the long run for sure!) But I did notice that both of them are in accio together, maybe we could do something with that? Unless you might have other ideas, that's completely cool too!

For AJ, I'd like to offer Oliver! We didn't get many of them as a pair, but from the interactions they've had together, I've quite enjoyed them! I like how sorta family-oriented they both are, and sorta relate to that aspect i guess hehe! We could maybe do something Quidditch-related if you'd like? I had an idea of doing some sorta open thread in the stands once Gryffindor practices begin and Ollie is pretty much sulking while watching because he missed out on tryouts and didn't get to be part of the team at all But again, if you had any other ideas in mind for the pair of them, that's cool too!

I love both your ideas. I'm not sure what I'd like with Nessie and Declan yet, I have a few ideas swirling around in my head but it might be good to chat with you and Rowan about it sometime to brainstorm a bit.

I love the idea of Arachne and Eloise bonding over Accio, thatdefinitely sounds like a fun idea.

AJ and Oliver sound like a fun pair to me too. I think AJ would be sulking right next to him considering he didn't make the team, I think that could be a good idea. Maybe they can be a bit petty to the alternates that did make it

Shaking my head but also formally offering Laura for AJ for Quidditch practice and potential friction - they both have different opinions on absent fathers and I feel like they might butt heads over mutual stubbornness but somehow be very similar too lol. Could see it being some sort of long term rivalry potentially.

I can absolutely offer you a bully for Arachne if you want Ares has a habit of assuming that nice people will cater to his every whim, which could go in many different directions

Going to show restraint and mostly just dangle Ulric out for both of them. Ulric is another odd Hufflepuff and I think they could get a long well. (Edit: I could also see him developing a small crush on her too depending how things shake out )

And for AJ, they've interreacted before but I think they're dynamic would be fun to play with considering their vastly different relationship to their siblings, and how next year Ulric is going to be free and AJ is going to have some with him finally. Also maybe if AJ sees Ulric being pushed around by his brother what might that interaction be etc.

Also for more friend time, January and Arachne could complain about sisters. Maybe there could be some tension if Arachne doesn't think its the same when it comes to a twin vs a little sister etc.

I was thinking maybe Carolina could be friends with Arachne or at least they could get to talking about magical creatures and bond over this? Since they're in the same house I imagine it would make sense for them to run into each other somehow, but i'm not sure how exactly they could get to talking since Carolina isn't really social as well, but maybe Carolina could be on the castle grounds watching a creature that lives there and they get to talking? let me know your thoughts
