Y51 Sorting Reactions!

Sorting for Y50 (!) is still a couple of days away, but that doesn't mean we can't have some exciting sorting chats here! It's never too early, right? As always, we love to hear your thoughts and reactions as we work through the process of sorting and transfers and exchanges! This is always such a fun time!

Are you having a character sorted or transferred this year? Maybe more than one? Ten? (You know who you are. )
Are you going to try for an exchange student?
Where do you think your character will end up?

Do you think they'll be happy about where they end up? How is it going to impact their first year or their entire schooling? Do you think the sorting hat will have a difficult time placing them? Any character expecting that the sorting hat won't be able to place them and they'll have to go home?

If you've already been sorted: Did you get what you/your character expected? Did the sorting hat say something funny to you? What'd you think of that? How nervous was your character to be sorted? How nervous were you?

[Lilith Ilves]

I had a plan to sort only one, Leo who is Lilith's younger brother and will be sorted with his twin sister Leena. However I had a chat with Verity and suddenly I now have a second sortee James Furneaux, who is Verity's Morrie and Sofi's younger step brother

Now for Leo I am quite set on the idea he will be a Gryffindor, there is a slight chance for Slytherin I reckon, but I highly doubt he'll sway any other way but Gryffindor, though we'll see! However Leo will be thoroughly upset if he gets anything else but Gryffindor, he is very set on being like his dad who he's looked up to his whole life and who isn't around anymore, so now its more important than ever for him to make Gryffindor.

James is a bit of a mystery for me RP wise, not sure I think I'll just let the form decide and see after it how I feel but from the little I do know and have planned for his character traits I could see my second Hufflepuff sorting happening here We'll see, I am very excited for both my boys and my only hope is NO MORE SLYTHERINS FOR ME </3

This year I will sort only one Dante Jusantrea. Thomas and Allison's son and Volaine Jusantrea's twin brother. I don't even really know which house he might be in. Probably Gryffindor as parents, but it probably all depends on the Sorting Hat.

Waaugh sorting already!!

I'm taking my first year off sorting since 2016 which feels CRAZY, but I wanna ease back in to the site by focusing on the characters I've already been neglecting. Might change my mind if I get tempted, but for now I'm just gonna be watching everyone else's sortings like

I am sorting Daviana this year, who is the somewhat estranged niece of Siobhan McGowan. She's been living with Siobhan for the past year. I'm still kind of figuring out who she is. Excited to see everyone else's characters, as well!

hello!!! can’t believe another sorting has arrived!!

i’m only sorting one character this year and it’s this young guy here, henry! he’s a muggleborn, so pretty new to magic and all! can’t wait to officially roleplay him and see what he’s like! i get either ravenclaw or hufflepuff vibes from him, so we shall see how that goes hehe!

i can’t wait to meet and see this years firsties!

I'm sorting Quentin who is Huw's younger brother. He's an observer before a talker and likes solving puzzles and mysteries. I'm expecting Ravenclaw for this one.

I have my second child on the way (which I say, like I'm pregnant or something) which is Julio here! He's rather grumpy, stand-offish and honestly just wants to go back home to Puerto Rico the only reason he's at Hogwarts is because of his dad and he is #nothappy. Honestly I'm leaning towards Slytherin with him, maybe Ravenclaw because he does have some tendancies.

I haven't had a Hufflepuff for about 10 IC years.. I believe now might be my time..

Oh my god sorting. I am not ready lol. I have one like usual and this time it's January, my now 3rd year's little sister. June is a bit tricky. She is very creative but a little standoffish too. She constantly feels compared to her sister and is constantly and desperately trying to stand apart from her (despite also loving her very much lol). I think she has a very deep seeded sense of ambition to make a name for herself which has been thinking she might land in Slytherin, but she's also very creative and passionate which make me think Ravenclaw or Gryffindor too. Honestly as long as she's not Hufflepuff she and I will BOTH be happy.
