Beatrice had made it through another year, and she had already planned how to spend her break - studying. OWLs seemed like no joking matter, and she wasn't going to let any slacking come into play to affect her future career choices. She hadn't quite decided what that would be yet, but if that meant having to get an O in every subject to ensure she had her pick, she was going to do just that. As she sat next to Maggie, she listened in on the conversation she and another classmate were having. "I wonder if they'll make any changes. Do you think they'll still let us cheer if they're really strict? We're not like an official group, but I don't want them to think we're distracting or anything," she said regarding the pep club. @Theodore Harper

Lottie twirled her hair as they sat at the feast, not really paying attention to much of anything. She had done okay this past year, but she was ready to go home for a break and see her sister. There were still another two years before Margot joined school, and while it may not be cool to hang out with your older siblings, Charlotte enjoyed her sister's company. They had fun together, much more fun than Charlotte tended to have with her classmates. The Hufflepuff started realizing there was some murmuring going on and began listening to the headmaster, catching the tail end of his speech. She heard another student talk about him leaving and realized she had completely zoned out.

Frannie took her seat near no one in particular at the Ravenclaw table for the end of year feast. She was very thirsty and went ahead and sipped on some water as the headmaster gave them a speech about the top point earners and Ravenclaw once again winning the house cup. She clapped with excitement for any Ravenclaw-related events. When the headmaster announced he was leaving, she wasn't particularly sad or anything, as she didn't know the man and had, thankfully, never been referred to his office. Others seemed to be concerned, but Francis took the time to gather herself some food instead.

Mary Paige had enjoyed her first year at Hogwarts. She had made quite a few friends and was enjoying being a photographer for the newspaper. She kept her camera on her pretty much at all times in case something eventful happened, and today was one of those days. She pulled out her camera as the headmaster spoke, snapping a few shots of the man as he announced his departure. Mary Paige wasn't sure if they'd write about it in the issue next year, but having a photo or two for archival purposes could be helpful. She looked over towards Hudson to see his reaction but couldn't find him in the sea of Gryffindors. As the food arrived, she put her camera away and started eating.
