After a lot of hard work, they were finally down to the last couple of duels of the year and Hiro was in charge of watching over the fifth years. "First off, congratulations to both of you for making it this far, it's quite an achievement!" He grinned at both the girls, feeling happy for both of them. "But only one of you can be crowned the victor today. I think you both know what you're doing by now, and I know you both want to win but please keep it clean. Any rule breaking and you will be disqualified. So, if you understand that, then please bow to your opponent and then you may begin. And very good luck."

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponents post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Please also remember site rules apply, including power/god modding. You can find the site rules here. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

Valeria was very surprised to make it this far, but she didn't mind. She just knew this was as far as she would get. Celia was a much stronger dueller and far more determined with it too. Val dabbled. She bowed to her giving a friendly enough smile and then when in position cast a very simple, "Stupefy," to get started.

Though Celia was annoyed she hadn't been able to inflict more damage during her last duel, she tried to remind herself it didn't matter. She was in the final round, and it wouldn't be long before she won the tournament for the third time in a row. And she had to win it. After all, one championship title could be a fluke. Two could be luck. But three? Three championships in a row would be undeniable proof that she was the best duelist in her year.

Celia stepped onto the platform and smiled faintly back at Valeria, though hers looked a little more like a smirk. She'd beaten the Ravenclaw last year, and she had no doubt she could do it again. After bowing, Celia cast a quick Shield Charm, a little irritated she hadn't gotten in the first attack. But it was no matter. She decided to return fire with literal fire, sending a jet of Gubraithian flames towards Valeria.

Val had lost to Celia before and felt she was probably going to lose again. Certainly as she sent flames that Valeria wasn't really able to counter since she wasn't due to learn Aguamenti until the next year, so she just dodged and sent a Conjunctivitis curse back

Celia smiled when Valeria was forced to dodge out of the way. She was sure it wouldn't take long before one of her spells actually hit. With a wave of her wand, Celia blocked the curse with a Shield Charm. She then sent back a Confundus Charm.
