Y39 Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice S2

Ava looked around for another bludger to hit.
 
Amelie smiled at Ares as she arrived on the pitch, taking to the air with the others. She yelped as she was hit with a bludger. Well, that was certainly a fun way to start. She took a moment to breath, before starting to fly around slowly and search the skies.
 
After getting in a lap Gaby circled back towards the hoops, chucking the quaffle at the left one and watching it sail through.
 
Ava spotted another bludger and set out to chase after it.
 
Aramis tried to shake off the bludger hit as he caught his breath, watching Gaby take off for a lap with the quaffle, but he still wasn't fast enough to block her next shot. He winced a little as he swooped down grab the quaffle, throwing it back out.
 
Gemma noticed a bludger coming right towards Hugo and swerved to meet it. She managed to knock it away but it flew off aimlessly missing the rest of her teammates.
 
Aramis felt his gaze straying to follow Hugo for a moment, but he knew he shouldn't probably be trying to watch the chasers.
 
Amelie continued her search, humming softly, when a glint of gold caught her attention. She shot after it, and was pleased when she caught it. She held the ball up for the captain to see, before releasing it and waiting a moment for it to disappear again.
 
Gemma was on a roll and spotted yet another bludger and went out for it. She didn't like leaving Hugo unprotected but when she made a solid connection with the bludger with her bat she grinned. And it widened when it found it's target and hit Ava. She figured it would be good for the younger girl to know how to take a hit. @Ava Hastings

Aramis could swear he could here someone humming again, glancing up when he saw Amelie shoot across the pitch, impressed she'd already made a catch so early.
 
Gemma flew back over to where Hugo was and it seemed like the bludgers had decided to calm down for now. Or maybe they were just hiding from her.
 
Amelie hummed and returned to her search.
 
A bludger flew past Gemma and narrowly missed hitting her in the head. She raced after it determined. With a wild swing of her bat she hit the ball but it went in the wrong direction and hit Gabby instead of it's intended target. @Gabrielle Perrault
 
Aramis grimaced in sympathy as Gemma knocked a bludger Gaby's way this time, his own gut still aching from when he'd been hit earlier. Maybe next year they could just beat Ilvermorny into submission.
 
Gemma was glad no other bludgers were making close calls with her head but she also didn't see any more to hit anyone else.
 
Elise loved the practices and thus she was eager to start. She mounted her broom to search for a bludger. When she finally found one it went way off course.
 
Aramis drifted some as he watched practice, hovering near the left-hand hoop.
 
Gemma sighed. The bludgers really seemed to be hiding from her now but she kept close to Hugo just in case.
 
Aramis wasn't going to lie and say he wasn't relieved to see Gemma taking a break to guard Hugo for a bit.
 
Amelie spotted the snitch and caught it again easily. She held it up, smiling at the captain before releasing it again. She waited a bit, fixing her hair and humming gently.
 
It frustrated Hugo that Amelie caught the snitch twice without seeming to even try. But he was trying not to show it so much, mostly because he knew Aramis would give him crap for it. He pretended he didn't see her at all.
 
Aramis glanced over at Hugo when Amelie nabbed the snitch again, pleasantly surprised to see he was at least outwardly keeping his cool today.
 
Elise was on the look out for a bludger, but she was also protecting the seeker for any harm. No bludgers were in sight so she just shadowed the seeker.
 
Aramis leaned on the front of his broom, keeping an eye on the rest of practice from his spot by the hoops.
 
Hugo flew closer to Aramis, mostly because he hoped it'd cheer him up. But as he approached him, he spotted the golden glint right behind his head. He grinned and darted forward, almost coming nose to nose as he reached behind him and grabbed the snitch.
