Gemma seemed to be doing extremely well and Gaby felt like she had to be more aware of the bludgers flying around. She grimaced when Ares got hit and felt a little bad when she used that moment of distraction to steal the quaffle from Édelie. She turned around when she had, jokingly sticking her tongue out at her friend for a second before flying off.
Gaby accelerated towards the hoops and chucked the quaffle at them, trying to keep in front of Édelie. Her shot was sloppy though and she frowned as it hit one of the hoops but didn't make it through.
Aramis was caught off guard when Gaby stole the quaffle, moving a little slow to block her incoming shot. Thankfully, it banked off the outside of one of the hoops, saving Aramis the trouble of blocking it. He swooped down, grabbing the quaffle again and throwing it back out.
After taking a lap, Gaby circled back towards the hoops. After her terrible previous shot she was keen to make up for that. She thried to throw the quaffle with much more precision this time around, relieved when that seemed to pay off.
Aramis misjudged which direction Gaby was going to throw as she approached the hoops, looking over his shoulder just in time to see the quaffle go through. He gave Gaby a weary thumbs up before throwing the quaffle back into play.
Gemma was on a roll now and raced to hit the next bludger she saw. She made a solid hit and it soared directly at Amelie. She shot the other girl an apologetic smile and looked around to see who would be next since she didn't want to hurt her team mates too badly. @Amelie Derouin
Édelie wasn't surprised when Gaby managed to steal the quaffle from her and gave out a laugh before chasing her to the hoops, watching as she failed to score but was quickly surprised by her turnaround of claiming the quaffle and sailing it past Aramis. The seventh year grabbed the quaffle, heading out again, feeling exhausted with practice only being halfway through.
Édelie passed Amelie as she headed back out and couldn't help but snicker by the younger girl's humming. She just seemed so content and carefree with things. On the other hand, that helped when she had to deal with other angsty seeker.
Amelie was looking about, focusing on the song she was humming, when she saw the glint of gold. She flattened on her broom, chasing after it, and after several minutes, she emerged with it in her hands again. She already knew she had probably irked Hugo, catching it three times already, but she also knew there was really nothing to be done about it and she wasn't going to fuss over it any further. She showed the snitch in her hand to the captain before releasing it again.
Aramis was definitely slowing down, not able to move fast enough again to block Édelie's shot. He let out an impressed whistle as he threw the quaffle back out, seeing Amelie had nabbed the snitch again, though he had to glance over at Hugo to see how his friend was taking it.
Élise got hit twice now and had only hit one bludger. Gemma seemed to hit everything that came into her path. Not that it mattered they were supossed to be a team.
Édelie was glad to see Amelie catching the snitch again, keeping her eye on Hugo in case he was peeved by the situation. She hoped he would put his energy into actually catching the snitch rather than being angry about others catching it.
