Y38 Beauxbatons Practice S2

The bludgers were playing the hiding game with Élise. Everytime she thought she spotted one it ended up being something else.
 
Gemma saw a bludger coming right at her and grinned at her luck. She swung and easily hit the bludger and aimed it for the other beater. The bludger found it's mark and she felt better about her missed shot already. But she would have to focus on the chasers next since she didn't want to cause practice to end early or anything. @Élise Moreau

Édelie had taken the quaffle out to center field but Aramis knew better by now than to get too comfortable waiting for her to come back his way.
 
Hugo still didn't see the snitch anywhere, it was frustrating and getting him in a terrible mood.
 
Amelie hummed softly, continuing her search.
 
Edelie took another shot, completely missing, but she had been distracted by another person getting hit. "Gemma and Elise, switch teams so Gemma doesn't kill everyone," she joked, hoping it would give folks a break from the bludgers. @Gemma Thorne @Élise Moreau
 
Aramis snorted when Édelie had Gemma switch teams to give the others a break. She was a menace with a bat.
 
Gemma sighed when Edelie told her and Elise to switch teams. She gave Amelie a little wave goodbye before winking to Hugo as she hovered near him. "Sorry about earlier." she said lightly. "But I'm here to protect you now." she said with a laugh.
 
Édelie grabbed the quaffle again out from under the other chasers as they were all distracted by the beaters switching sides.
 
Gemma was put to work right away as she saw a bludger coming right at her. She swung her bat and aimed it right at Amelie. It felt wrong after spending so much time protecting the other girl, but the bludger made contact and she shot her an apologetic look. @Amelie Derouin
 
Amelie wasn't watching Gemma at that moment. She gasped as the bludger hit her hard in the side. She let out a sharp gasp, clutching at her side. "Owww... Good shot," she breathed.
 
Edelie saw Amelie get hit and felt bad for the younger girl. The seventh-year took another attempt at scoring and pursed her lips when it failed to go through the hoops.
 
Amelie shook off the hit, and continued her search.
 
Gemma was wasting no time getting to work now she'd switched teams, but Aramis had to pay attention himself, just barely getting a hand on the quaffle when Édelie moved to score. He managed to knock it aside, scooping it back up and throwing it out again.
 
Aramis was feeling a little tired, but at least he didn't have to fly laps as much as the rest of the team.
 
Amelie hummed, ignoring the throbbing in her ribs.
 
Gemma was feeling good about how this practice was going so she didn't mind the fact the bludgers seemed to be avoiding her now.
 
Amelie wasn't fussed that the snitch was scarce. She was doing alright.
 
Aramis stretched, keeping an eye on the chasers and the quaffle.
 
Édelie felt like she was hogging the quaffle, but seeing as it was her last year, she figured they'd let it slide a little. Swerving out into the middle of the field, she kept her eye on the other players.
 
Gemma kept an eye out for bludgers but they all seemed to be keeping their distance.
 
Amelie continued to search for the snitch, humming a little more now to distract herself from the pain in her ribs.
 
Aramis kept his eyes on Édelie, knowing better than to relax too much when she was in possession.
 
Amelie took a moment to fix her hair before resuming her search.
 
Gemma rolled her shoulders to keep loose and saw a bludger out of the corner of her eye. She rushed to meet it and tried to aim for Edelie again but it veered off course and hit the younger chaser instead. @Ares Kuya-Tine
